The “TQ cuckoo” - brilliant!

Expand full comment

Exactly what I came here to type. Perfect analogy.

Me, too! I can't think of a better analogy for the current gender identity cult...that of the cuckoo. A creature that, through duplicitous gaslighting,

causes others to direct resources and attention away from their own selves and their own progeny and turn them toward the creature and its needs...no matter how harmful that turn may be.

And the main victims of the cuckoo's deceptions are the offspring of others, pushed out of their parents' nest by an all-consuming interloper, robbed of the life that was their due.

Yeah, 'TQ cuckoo' is a good analogy.

Evidence of growing resistance to new trans dogma - great! We should campaign for a Dangerous Dogma Act.

Wow! I wish I had the ability to speak with such clarity. Excellent stuff! 👏

Brilliant piece. I’d have asked any candidate who came to my door what a woman is but none of them came. Possibly the Respect my Sex poster in my window put them off. So I emailed them all. Tory - adult human female; Labour - waffled but didn’t commit; LibDem - not for local elections (!); SNP - no response; Green - no response. I’ll vote accordingly.

Expand full comment

My Labour candidates gave the right answer. SNP, Greens, Conservatives, and independetlnts looked at me like my head buttons up the back and refused to answer. So no votes there and votes for Scottish Labour since Ana's Sarwar knows the difference even if Sir Keir Stammerer doesn't!

Expand full comment

I've not had anyone at my door yet. Think all the posters in my windows might have put them off as well !!

Expand full comment

I think it was the registered Labour member in a tory marginal factor that did it.

Greens at my door told me they don’t agree TWAW either, said it was national not them. I emailed to say thanks for the leaflet and someone replied that they totally agree with me and hopefully I’ll be able to vote for them soon. Very interesting exchange - sounds like a battle going on

I’m sure it wasn’t anyone from the Scottish Greens. They’ve all been gender-woo captured.

Expand full comment

As a Green member (Eng and Wales), I am angry the party has been captured by GI-dogma: but Emma Bateman, and Shahrar Ali, have 2 legal actions pending, and hopefully this can break the stranglehold of the clique, and at least allow an open debate within the party...

The Greens in Scotland are fully captured. There’s no hope here with them.

Truth be told, I could never bring myself to vote conservative. Given the other options I'd hand in an empty or otherwise invalid ballot.

Expand full comment

I understand your reluctance but as a woman I could never not vote.

Expand full comment

I feel the same way. It was a right that we fought hard for and someone will end up voted for and I wnat to be part of that process.

Expand full comment

Yes. So many of our rights are being threatened now that we have to ensure we use the ones we have to the full.

Expand full comment

I don't think I could either. But in the U.S. they're all so abysmal it makes it easy to spoil one's ballot.

"gay conversion-by-transy"

Nice.

You make every point I'd like to make, clearly, and with total commitment to the rights of all of us. We do not want to live in a world of trans-fluidity which destroys all the political gains made by lesbians, gays and bisexuals. And I write as a hetero!

Quite. And the kids thing and women and the truth. Altogether, I think of it as the four pillars of GC. Red lines.

I loved and agree with every word of this. Gratitude and solidarity from the gender identity cesspool that is California!!!!

As a follow-up to my earlier comment about living in San Francisco... I've started posting more GC content on my Facebook page. A couple of people I know have agreed, but most of them have been more conservative moms with daughters. The rest of my Facebook friends that have responded - mostly Bay Area lefty folks, like myself - have been negative, calling it "transphobic" and "hateful" and all that; a couple of people I know unfriended me without a word. A few HAVE engaged me somewhat, but have mostly been denigrating or accusatory, pretty set in their views and unwilling to have an actual conversation on the topic. :-/

On the good side, however, a fellow I used to work with commented "So, when did you turn into an angry old white guy?" (with a wink emoji). That led to us reconnecting and we had a Skype chat, wherein he revealed to me that he's gotten into cross-dressing in recent years. I'm not sure where he would fit in the trans spectrum, I suspect firmly AGP. But he actually was fine having a reasonable conversation with me about it, wasn't angry or throwing epithets, and agreed with me on some points.

Expand full comment

Something about this makes me want to caution you!

Expand full comment

If you don't mind my asking - in what way?

Expand full comment

It might just be overcautiousness on my part. I have had many of these conversations. There are reasonable AGPs out there. There are also very practised narcissists who have perfected the reasonableness patter, with the aim of getting you to concede by salami slicing degrees to giving them everything they want. It can be insidious and difficult to tell the difference. In those circumstances I try to set out the red lines and stick to them, which sounds like what you did. Sorry, but born from experience it's just my instinct now to be cautious.

Followup. When I am wont to waver, I remind myself that kids are being mutilated in the name of this ideology. All the bekind mantras in the world do not save one child.

Hello again (was away for the weekend).

I'm not sure how much this guy subscribes to the negative aspects of trans-ism (in any form). I DO know that during our conversation, he said he felt it was wrong to propose surgery and hormones for anyone under 18, so there's that. He seems reasonable, in any case.

Clausewitz observed that no plan survives first contact with the enemy. These liberal-left politicians in the western world have no plan to deal with first person politicking of informed voters -- their gibberish cannot survive first contact. There was no focus group. No polling. No understanding of the voter. Nothing. It's all a surprise to them.

Pure incompetence.

Expand full comment

Oh they know. I saw it in all their eyes on the doorstep. The fear. Of having to confront this issue. All along they have been hoping they could shaft us all through their silence, with nobody noticing. They HAD thought they were afraid of cancellation by the TRAs. What’s now interesting is the penny is dropping. They are afraid that the mass of sensible people are waking up to this awful scandal. This Thalidomide 2.0. And they are bricking it.

'They are afraid that the mass of sensible people are waking up to this awful scandal. This Thalidomide 2.0.'

Yes.

Expand full comment

Incompetence by self-deceptions. They have their ears in their echo-chambers and party leaderships just haven't noticed how fundamentally different those college graduates serving as their guidance for new ideas of justice are from themselves at that age. I.e. they are completely oblivious that post-modernism on steroids has taken over the academic disciplines left or liberal parties traditionally draw their recruits from and how that has left a generation of graduates thoroughly undereducated and over-dogmatized. To be fair, the reasons behind the right wing turn of conservative parties particularly in economic matters all over the Western world has similar causes, but it concerns areas beyond the experience of most voters. And of course, in that case it's not post-modernism but neoliberalism.

I'm not sure if they don't care. It's a mixture of ignorance, cowardness and most of all fear of peer pressure.

Expand full comment

Oh, I am utterly sure they don't care. All politicians care about in the U.S. is $$$$$$$$$ and how much they can stuff in their pockets.

Expand full comment

I suppose at a certain point, when the effects are so clear and so very damaging, their intentions, whether cowardice or malice, don't matter a great deal.

Expand full comment

I think at least in the U.S. their intentions do matter. The Congress has actually rid itself -- through the collusion of the uni-party -- of any decent members such as Dennis Kucinich or Cynthia McKinney. I know what you mean -- the end result is the same -- but it is very depressing when you realize what happens to any decent politician. Their career is so over.

Brilliant ! I agree with every word and I think we all feel the same. Glad to see him calling them TQ because obviously they have nothing in common with LGB , except of course their humanity ,and I find it irritating when people say LGBTQ+++. I'm sure that's the reason why so many non trans identifying people think it's gay rights they're supporting!! Well done to him 👏👍
