A few years ago, my wife and I did our bit in trying to repeal the eighth amendment in Ireland. The Eight Amendment was a hangover from Ireland’s priest-ridden past which prevented women from receiving an abortion, even in cases such as ours where the child had no chance of surviving. We worked with Amnesty International, who shot a moving and powerful video that I like to think had some influence on the final result of the referendum, which was a resounding success for Irish women.

What a harrowing testimony. I feel your rage and distraught at the utter level of betrayal, the lies and the cruelty.
When I realize that Amnesty was for the decriminalization of the prostitution industry (the pimps and the Johns) I understood that something was really wrong.
Crying into my coffee. Its so true. From a fire into the mouth of a volcano. I have to get out of this country before I’m old and being given a bed bath by a beardy ham-handed nigel whose name badge says “Kimberly-Rose”.
So bloody sad. See so many feminists who were an important part of the repeal campaign doing such great work but now have gone over to the dark side all with the aim of being nice, inclusive and one of the gang. Maybe they had these thoughts beforehand but I never noticed.
Women were the biggest allies of the LGB community during the same sex marriage referendum and now O'Gorman, a gay man, throws it back in our faces by trying to erase us? What an absolute shite bag.
They are trying to tie us in with the likes of Gemma O'D and her fellow travelers. Almost all the people I know who are campaigning on the GC side are lefties. No idea whether this is representative but it makes a joke of their efforts.

Thank you.
Rinse and repeat. Ireland betrays women and children. Again. Hidden, abused, discriminated against, and now the final push for complete erasure.

This is so sad and outrageous. I am not articulate enough to express how sorry and angry I am.

O/T - just noticed the BBC whistleblower post is missing?
