Rory O’Neill, or Panti Bliss, the man who asked for evidence of coercion of lesbians and then refused to look at it, took another swipe at that group over the weekend.
Scarlet for the idiot who suggested that Lauren sounds as Northern Irish as Lionel Messi. The BS these people tell themselves to justify their lies is quite something
Sorry to pipe up here but I sent your BBC 'interview' to a twaw friend who admitted that you were treated badly. She's now agreed to read stuff I sent her that she refused to open previously.
I saw all this when I got up today. Its appalling and it couldn't be more clear that it's just an excuse for xenophobes and misogynists to vent their prejudice in the guise of being "woke". Some of the comments are outright racist.
Also kudos to Lauren and Ceri, who dealt with this horrible onslaught using have and intelligence.
And not just Jane Robertson’s mention of Paddy Power the Dublin bookies, but also ... Paddy Irish whiskey, distilled in County Cork since 1879 & since the American takeover in 2016, the fourth biggest selling whiskey in the world. Thanks Wikipedia! Just wanted to be sure. 🤓 I once got very very drunk on Paddy whiskey after my brother in law’s funeral in Kilrush. The most wonderful funeral I’ve ever attended. Not because of the whiskey! Never heard the Hail Mary said faster than the priest at the graveside! It was like prayers on speed dial! Anyway, there you go - an excellent Irish whiskey is called Paddy!
I hadn't seen that one from Panti, i mean that's about as graceless as it is possible to be. I would expect my 12yo son to have better grace than that in defeat. I would expect it of my 8yo son, ffs.
And i see the original post is still up. What an absolute plonker he is.
It went from being an expression that Panti 'literally' had never heard of and had to google to an 'anti-Irish slur'
Like, how can it be both, it was mental, like.

aww, that's great! tell her thanks for being open-minded!
Hooray!

I mean *grace*, ffs!
Thanks for giving Ceri and Lauren a podium.
Have they mentioned this to Paddy Power the Dublin bookies? Doubt it somehow.

I suppose it's now also an anti Irish slur to refer to St Patrick's Day as Paddy's Day as no Irish person ever uses Paddy, according to these idiots
Delighted to see Paddy whiskey getting a mention on here. I'm a fan myself. And half English, half Paddy as it happens

All support to Ceri and Lauren, taking all this abuse with a lot better grace and humour than I'd be capable of.
Panti doesn't know how to acknowledge he is ever wrong. He is treated like a saint by the Irish media.
Had he anyways been this way or has it gone to his head, do you think?
