Really interesting insights, particularly from James and Arty on the pressures and expectations of the gay scene and just a delight to hear James - what a lovely man and supremely talented actor. Thank you all for restoring sanity in this crazy world.
Absolutely spot on commentary about what is happening both to women, children and gay men both of whom men with their fragile male egos and Mummy issues,literally, hate. To see it so politically successful in thought policing and so detached from reality is indeed chilling. It shows leaders and the political and bureaucratic class for the deluded sociopathic narcissistic institutions based solely on servicing mens needs for what they are. This is how they make us believe all the propaganda we are fed and we are seeing it in real time.I don’t think anyone expected anyone would object as certainly as usual no one has been asked. It is indeed authoritarianism if the establishment can’t oppress us overtly they will do it covertly via our views and thoughts. Just as gay men, lesbians and women were achieving some emancipation this happens. So I see it as a regressive fantasy movement which distracts us from the rights we haven’t yet achieved (particularly women) and to stop progress and keep us all distracted and real sadistic criminals enabled and out of jail, where they belong. Yes we are becoming very, very angry about this distracting from our real issues outstanding and insulting us at the same time. Male violence is male violence is male violence. Great discussion.
I forgot to add this is why thousands of years of outrageous behaviour oppressing women has occurred when you see the irrational, violent rage and behaviour perpetrated against women denying our reality and leaving women to carry the can for standing in the way or objecting basically for mens access to sex and anything else they want at women’s invisibilised cost then you see the face of toxic masculinity and insane male rage and evil privilege.Either overtly or covertly and many women are being assaulted and dying (let alone losing their children, property and rights) due to these men and their handmaidens everywhere, everyday. Lest we forget and RIGHT NOW. Check the figures they’d like to erase from records by simply ignoring both sex and events occurring which is worsening, as economic circumstances deteriorate, not improving. This is not a direction any first world “civilised” country or any other wants or needs to be heading in.
