The Cass Review The biggest and best news of the week, of course, is the long-awaited publication of the Cass Review Final Report. Over the last four years, leading paediatrician, Dr Hilary Cass, and her team have conducted the most robust investigation into the clinical evidence - or lack thereof - for medically transitioning children. I’m happy that Cass is here, but i’m fucking angry. My MP has failed children, i have asked her repeatedly to denounce drugging kids. or at least acknowledge that the evidence was not there to justify the drugs given to children. Nothing, nothing, just some piss poor lip service 2 or so years ago. I am politically homeless, i have joined the millions who won’t vote. Won’t vote for a bunch of single visioned wankers.

Of course the odd ones out are Scottish MSPs who voted for the GRR bill and continue to support the brainwashing and medicalisation of children. I have it on reliable authority that the Scottish Conservatives proposed several questions on Cass be raised in Holyrood this week and they were all refused. Hell hath no fury like an adult human female scorned!

Have a peep at the GenderGp's Facebook page and it's response to the the Cass review. The comments section is flooded with desperate parents whose distressed children cant get the hormones they have been wrongly prescribed. It seems they are already no longer giving out prescription or even responding to emails.

I really can’t put it better than that comment from Transgender Trend. And let’s give some praise here for Stephanie Davies Arai. She’s been working relentlessly for children over the past years.
I think that comment from Graham about children believing you if you tell them they may be born in the wrong body, should be emblazoned on posters, on billboards, on staff room walls, on t shirts, and in every so called gender clinic up and down the country until everyone is chanting it rather than ‘trans women are women.’
I worried that the final Cass report might not be as impactful as we all hoped. Thank goodness my worries were unfounded!
It seems to me that a lot of individuals and organisations have been realising that they got into bed with the wrong side re 'trans' but couldn't find a way to get out without being vilified. They're now seizing this as an excuse to pull back.
I'm so pleased that Cass has resulted in the NHS reviewing adult services too.
I have a friend whose son in his early 30s announced a few years ago that he was 'transitioning'. It progressed to full surgery at a speed I could hardly believe.
Despite his declarations that he 'always knew' etc, I have known this young man since he was born and know that he had no true dysphoria. He had other issues and was obviously heavily influenced, particularly by his partner (a far from stable young woman who 'identifies as' a lesbian despite being in a heterosexual relationship).
To the best knowledge of my friend his son received no psychological screening or talking therapy from the adult services. They simply provided the medical and surgical options he requested.
I sincerely hope that someone who matches Cass's standard is appointed to the review.
Your work Graham reminds me of the historic intervention by the lawyer Joseph Welch which finished off the odious Senator McCarthy. Welch, a lawyer of incisive wit and intelligence, represented the Army. During the course of weeks of hearings, Welch blunted every one of McCarthy’s charges, while McCarthy, increasingly enraged, bellowed “point of order, point of order,” screamed at witnesses, and declared one highly decorated general a “disgrace” to his uniform. On June 9, 1954, McCarthy claimed that a young associate in Welch’s law firm was a member of a “legal arm of the Communist Party”, Welch paused, looked at McCarthy and declared, “Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness. This is so huge. I feel as though a pall has been lifted, and that we can truly speak now with impunity about this devastating evil. Hilary Cass is a hero. Probably unwitting and unwilling, but she is.
Hallelujah! Only a few short years ago it was hard to imagine that this day would ever arrive. Of course there's still a way to go but it's a major victory and a game-changer. It's a great day for - as Graham put it - kids who enjoy playing with the "wrong" toys.

Then the joy of the desperate Reverse Ferreting that has been taking place.
Then the anger of the bare faced lies that are going on - Ruth Hunt stands out.
We also need justice and surely a public inquiry.

I laughed until I cried at the Bull chasing the Lady in Red! Wonderful! I feel much happier after the Final Cass Report AND its reception by all sensible people. But (and you knew that there would be a but) I am aware of the work still needed to get Transwidows like me and Children of Transitioner (@childrenofT) up the "victims" list. We exist. We were "collateral damage". And this will not be fully appreciated until "Cass 2" about Adult services is prepared and published. So I hope that Kemi Badenoch and Victoria Atkins select a suitable, well-qualified and respected Leader for this essential conclusive work. "Trans" was invented by three quacks Money, Kinsey and Benjamin in the 1950s in the US. May their sould roast in hell!
