As we look to the US to lead the way, let's hope this insanity reduces in the next few months.

Ah, that does read like some very good news. The Rape Crisis Scotland news is especially good. I am horrified by all aspects of the gender ideology issue (medicalisation of vulnerable children, women's sports, undermining women's rights, attack on gay and lesbian rights, the cancellation of individual's, violent sexual predators claiming to be women so they can be locked in the hen house etc. this list goes on), but somehow telling sexually abused women that they are a problem and "educating" them and forcing them to make way for men in their safe space has always felt like the shit cherry on a particularly repugnant and rancid cake. Thanks JL for the good news and for sharing the art of David Zinn. I love his creations.
I've now been in touch with several US House members regarding this Oversight Committee investigation into Johanna Olson-Kennedy. Nancy Mace (R-SC) is particularly interested. The fact that both Senate and House now means that the committees will be headed by GOP officials, thus the interrogations will be more pointed and revealing. No more "settled science" claims. Here's the letter I wrote to several of them, directed first to President of Yale because Dr. McNamara put out a nonsense paper claiming Yale imprimatur, such that the news was "Yale debunks Cass Review." SEGM.org, Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine posted a peer reviewed article stating McNamara's deceit and political medical practices. For a sense of this, search in youtube for Dr. Miriam Grossman testimony, in which Dr. Grossman counters the "settled science" claims, stating that this field has always had controversies and nothing is settled. Don't want to rain on the parade but, albeit I fully understand why Sex Matters have to talk to Ms Dodds of course, if Ms Dodds was serious about protecting women's single sex spaces it is seemples: clarify the meaning of 'sex' in the Equality Act as everyone on the Terf side has been saying for ages; confirm that they will not proceed with the manifesto commitment to what would amount to self ID. I'll eat my hat if she does this!
