Very concerning news from Germany though. In case anyone hasn’t noticed…you will be able to change your child’s gender from birth. That is child abuse. Have they not heard of the Reimer twins?
How does that tally with it being the 'inner soul' etc 'true' 'identity' blah yada of the individual? How does the baby, at birth, communicate and express this soul desire? Being preverbal? Back to picking off the 'wrong' type of hairbands and unpopping babygrows to make it a 'dress' again? Raising an eyebrow? It's ludicrous - what other decisions will be in the hands of those just born? Only 'gender'? This is patently silly but to be enshrined in law this is as you say, truly terrifying. This clashes with so much other legislation it's nonsensical. No age of consent either or is that up to the parents or 'adult caregivers' now too? This must be the paedophile kink trans lobby that's so powerful in Germany.
From one point of view, the move to allow German parents to define their child's 'gender' at birth (if that's an accurate report) does seem insane; but one has to shift one's perception, and find a position from which this development makes a kind of sense, in order to better understand what's going on.
The notion of changing the 'gender' of a newborn seems insane until one sees it through the prism of the drives both towards transhumanism, and - connected with that - the desire to turn the human body into part of the market.
Transhumanism seeks to uncouple human beings from our biology, of which our natal sex is a fundamental part - thus, far better from a transhumanist point of view to never establish a human being's sex in the first place, at the time of their arrival in the world.
Further to which, by reinforcing the notion that 'gender' is something individuals and parents can select by preference, the way is opened more widely to marketing of lucrative body modification drugs and surgeries. The earlier in life a person's 'gender' is established, the more time is available for people to be 'defined', then maybe react against this and 'transition' as children or teens, then maybe as adults switch again, etc. It is the human body as a potentially continual lifestyle choice.
From this point of view, the move makes perfect sense.
I wish i could support the women of Germany in some way. The fact that 50 percent of the population is having to regain their basic human rights in a developed country is just mind boggling. And the EU will validate the gender recognition process of any member state regardless of how flawed the process is. Post truth era, post science, post reality. can we start called transwomen postmen please? thanks for the goodnews JL! always a lift. Especially as the news everywhere else is just terrible. I’ve started to stop listening again. I just turn it off and put radio 3 on and its some lovely ravel or something. I can’t consume all this suffering anymore. Also good news! In a few days I will appear with Emma, child of a cross-sex ideating man (and originator of ChildrenofTransitioners) on the Megyn Kelly show. My guess is it will come out around Oct. 15. I'm now up on Irene BritUSA channel, talking about women's sports, wondering what will happen with the mixed teams if men start taking say, a woman's place on the 4x400 relay, meaning it would be a "mixed team" race of 3 men and 1 woman against 2 men and 2 women. Then details on my discovery of Neddy's secret crossdressing life after he shaved off all the hair on his body.
Sorry to say, Kelly bumped us twice when the Kamala Circus came to town. Emma and I are waiting to see if she remembers. She did use information we gave her as she kept declaring trans kids are not real.

My understanding re the Tewksbury Library is that WoLF said they would host it at which stage the library had second thoughts. If anyone hasn't listened to it ( it is long) Dr Brown's speech is the definitive answer as to why men and boys should not be in women's and girls' sport including pre-pubertal boys and regardless of testosterone suppression or use of puberty blockers.
