LPGA - Is it just me, or does the term 'assigned at birth' seem uncomfortable? It makes it sound like a doctor can assign anything he wants to a child at birth. Very highly unlikely, but with leftists, you have to dot every I and cross every T. I would prefer X & Y chromosomes to be the defining factor in determining sex.
It’s concerning that removing TIMs from elite competition is being done publicly, while women at the levels below are still subjected to this insanity?
Why also use ‘afab’ and ‘amab AND gone through male puberty’? They don’t mention ‘amab NOT gone through male puberty’?
Is that to leave some door open for the generation of puberty blocked males to mature and be allowed to compete?
We are seeing history in the making. Slow to turn this ship about, but the Skrmetti case is probably the first time many have heard of detransitioners. I assume, looking ahead, that some case on men in women's prisons will make its way to the Supreme Court in the US, as well. I've just gotten the huge compendium of Jean Piaget's child development research, The Essential Piaget (860 pages, not including bibliography and index) and will start explaining on my channel exactly how Sotomayor and Brown-Jackson got it wrong, according to long-accepted stages of child development. We will bring Johanna Olson-Kennedy down, thanks to brave young women like Clementine Breen. I'm literally going to send the questions any therapist should be able to answer, regarding the Piaget stages of child development to Breen's attorneys, for the court case. Meanwhile, here's the basics:
i just can’t believe what people did to Clementine. A child. Just so upsetting. How is a human being able to have a happy life when they have been so profoundly abused during childhood. Those doctors.
i can’t face getting into it because its just too much but i was chatting to a gp the other day and she said she was helping various trans people. It wasn’t on her intellectual agenda - sorry that sounds very superior, to question the underlying ideology. And citing autism as being a common trait amongst trans people, not the other way round or at least autistic people being drawn to the ideology if i’m making sense. My brains not focused so i’m probably not making sense, but i was shocked anyway because she had a complete acceptance of someone’s identity, and this isn’t a bad person, quite the opposite. Some people are so blessed in some areas and have such blind spots as well. weird. I was thinking of sending her the Cass review and the wpath leaks.
I have been saying for ages that law suits are going to be crucial to our Terf Battle but if governments ( the Senate and Spain) want to save us the trouble, that's fine by us 😂
I sometimes use the phrase 'your house is built on sand' against the TRAs. But 'your house is built of chocolate'? The other questions are ; how long did it take the children to eat the house and what did their faces look like at the end 😊
As heartbreaking as Clementine's story is, this is likely to be a significant turning point. Johanna Olsen-Kennedy is in the spotlight, firstly for a strange approach to scientific research (take federal funding, refuse to publish results) and now this. As a major name in the gender surgery world, hopefully this will get lots of attention.
And that political cartoon award is a contender for my favourite piece of good news yet. The cartoon itself was fab (saying so much in such a simple and clever way) but the fact it was Caroline Lucas presenting the award is beyond priceless 😂
Gender GP- another example of these liers attempting to redefine language. Gender General Practitioner. They aren’t fucking GP’s. They are a targeted marketing group designed to exploit children
A "handful" of good stories.....but oh my!!! they are some of the very best stories without doubt! The socialist government of Spain actually changing the rules for the better?! I'd never have thought that particular trans-loving government would budge. And Clementine suing the Frankenstinian doctor. If she wins this will have a fantastic effect on the future potential butchering of children. I still cannot get my head round cutting off the healthy breasts of a 14 year old at her own behest. In what other area of medicine can a child, or indeed an adult, self diagnose a problem based on some made up concept of gender dysphoria which has no evidence or scientific basis. It is much worse than negligence, it is active sadism. Go Clementine!
Just did my weekly google of what GL and JKR have said on twitter and i learn that Graham is off to do some more comedy for us!!! well happy, is the Rob S the guy from Jaws? i’ll have to google that. This is great news and Wes is doing great and FWS are about to land a major victory!! I’m so pleased GL is living his comedy life again, so deserved and i have no right to say this but i’m so proud of him
There's no question but that men, even (or especially) those who claim to be women, have no business being in women-only spaces. However, banning biological males from domestic violence shelters and other similar sex-segregated facilities is only part of the overall gender critical activists' agenda. They face an uphill battle against trans activists and their campaign to censor, defame and discredit them, mislead the public and continue to spread the calumny that all critics of gender ideology are transphobes. Trans activists have been extremely effective at turning liberals and progressives and their institutions against sex realists and their cause. In the time that it has taken gender critical activists to get their movement off the ground, their trans counterparts have been calling on politicians and opinion makers winning them over. Consequently, progressives and many liberals believe that the real problem is "trans hatred." They view trans people as sympathetic victims.
Consider, for example, the horrendous persecution that Jesse Singal, one of pioneer journalists on the pediatric gender medicine beat, is currently enduring at Bluesky, the supposedly civil alternative to Twitter. This is part of Mr. Singal's description of what he's undergoing at the hands of trans activists and their ferociously aggressive allies on Bluesky: [1]
"I joined Bluesky, a Twitter alternative that has a base of hardened far-left power users who get really mad when folks they dislike show up. I quickly became the single most blocked account on the site and, fearful of second-order contamination, these users also developed tools to allow for the mass-blocking of anyone who follows me. That way they won’t have to face the threat of seeing any content from me or from anyone who follows me. A truly safe space, at last."
"But that hasn’t been enough: They’ve also been aggressively lobbying the site’s head of trust and safety, Aaron Rodericks, to boot me off (here’s one example: 'you asshole. you asshole. you asshole. you asshole. you want me dead. you want me fucking dead. i bet you’ll block me and I’ll pass right out of existence for you as fast as i entered it with this post. I’ll be buried and you won’t care. you love your buddy singal so much it’s sick.'). Many of these complaints come from people who seem so highly dysregulated they would have trouble successfully patronizing a Waffle House, but because they’re so active online, they can have a real-world impact."
If the gender critical movement has any hope of succeeding in localities where liberals and progressives form a political majority, sex realist activists are going to have to win over hearts and minds to their cause. They will not have the political power to impose far-reaching restrictions such as bans on gender affirming care on an unwilling populace.
Even if Trump and his people get it together sufficiently to take effective federal action on the trans front (something that should not be taken for granted), federalism may impose limits on what they change. The Supreme Court decision striking down Roe v Wade shows the Court also can take iron-fisted action that goes against the will of a large percentage of the public. Whether SCOTUS will do that when it comes to so-called trans rights is something the nation won't know until the high court hands down its ruling in the Skrmetti case in 2025.
This brings us to Nancy Mace and the Republican House leadership's decision to make a spectacle of barring a trans female legislator from congressional ladies' rooms. Is that going to make sex realist activists' jobs easier or harder in blue states and liberal cities and towns? While it's understandable that some in the movement to end gender identity ideology would like to kick trans women out of toilets right now, how are they going to accomplish that when their elected representatives and the institutions that control access to semi-public WCs won't go along with it? There aren't enough hard liners to set up checkpoints at every women’s' rest room. If that were attempted as a form of political theater (tear gas! police in riot gear!), what effect would that have on the opinion of the persuadable liberal woman who is on the fence about whether it is fair for teen boys to compete as teen girls against other teen girls?
As far as I am concerned, Nancy Mace stepped on a rake that has whacked every moderate sex realist activist squarely in the face. Sure, it will thrill the real transphobes over in red state America, but it will not do a thing to help the children and young adults in New York and California who are being sucked into medical and surgical mutilation nor will it make it any easier to deal with the problem of AGP men in those states and others like them.

Talk with me sometime about Bradley Manning, Graham et al. I agree that his violating women's spaces is outrageous, but his leaking of war crimes information was not. It was an act of courage that gave Americans information about what is happening in our name that is absolutely vital to us.
As always 🌹
Bet that stuck in Lucas’s craw , good enough , a cartoon so simple yet so powerful
The tables are a turning
Cheers, Petal!
It’s colder than my black heart up here tonight 🥶, I’d to scrape car before the Foodbank then again two hours later - bears have the right idea !
Do you mean by not volunteering at the foodbank, Petal 😂
Hopefully I can manage on 160 hours hibernation pw lol
You're a star, Petal 😊
Most would say I’m a moaning faced bitch but cheers 😂
Thanks JL, as always. It may be only a handful but what a terrific handful. Things are really looking better on both sides of the pond.
Love the clips, especially the gingerbread house.
Yes the clips were so good. What did Caroline Lucas have to say about that cartoon winning I wonder.

Yes, I think that’s the plan.
It sounds like homework, doesn't it?
It starts with suing the medical.profession, then government bans men from competing - and toileting with women. Rock on!
Brilliant H.chorus JL, wherever do you find these gems?!
Thanks, Giulia! I spend waaaaay too much time online looking for these videos. The quirkier the better! 😁
...luckily there is no shortage of totally daft vids online ;-)

I hope there'll come a time when we see all of these child-catching gender 'doctors' in prison.

Great cartoon, amazing that it won.
Incredible chocolate house!
Thanks JL, you’re a ⭐️
Bless you, TT! Your kind words are very much appreciated 😘
Thanks for the cheering news, JL.

Dusty
To be honest, I'm not sure M. Guichon's creations get eaten. Though I'd be willing to volunteer...
I shouldn't imagine they do, JL but I couldn't help envisaging a group of children being unleashed on it😂
