You might not get many comments for a while today because everyone is talking about the WPATH files, so I just thought I’d say thanks JL because there are some really good pieces of news here, especially from the Netherlands.

yes thanks JL, I just saw the WPATH thing and Stella talking about it. We all know and feel it so there’s no much point in saying anything anymore but the children and people ruined by this and encouraged to damage their bodies by trusted doctors and the like. Words can not express the sadness.

I get why my mp and school leaders don’t listen to me but i don’t understand how they can ignore the voices of such esteemed commentators. Its pure politics and pure neglect of their basic duties. To turn a blind eye to such obvious crimes against vulnerable people. I get why men want to enlarge their world at the expense of women- because men can be such a selfish and cruel group, but to use children and vulnerable adults to expand one’s world and opportunities is unforgivable. The idea that some children are taught that their beautiful little bodies and thoughts aren’t right fills me with sorrow. Lets hope our leaders actually start to listen. Some people’s rights don’t matter in this world. Really upsetting.

I think there are a few reasons why transgenderism is spreading among children. Children are being given the idea that being transgender is THEIR decision, that it is some kind of human right to decide what your gender is, so naturally some of them have decided to try it. It is also a way to please liberal parents who want a "special" child to take care of. Indeed, it may be the parents who are putting the idea in their children's heads, along with liberal teachers. But being trans is also a way for a child to rebel against strict parents. If transgenderism comes from within, like homosexuality, then no one can tell a child that he or she is NOT trans -- and if it annoys the parents, all the better. Then there are children who have psychological or social issues. Liberal teachers, books and trans influencers on social media are hard at work convincing such kids that their problems will be solved if they switch genders. (It doesn't help, of course, that society has unrealistic ideas about what surgeons can do.) Sadly, the taboo against homosexuality is still very powerful in all the major religions. Some parents, and some children too, may feel that it is better to switch genders and be a "heterosexual" than be gay. Of course, switching genders is impossible, and no one becomes straight by having cosmetic surgeries.

Society needs to teach children (and everyone) that gender comes from the body and is immutable (with the exception of intersex people). We need to get back to the point where the idea of changing genders is ridiculous on its face. The problem is that this goes against the "anything goes" ethic of liberalism.

Everyone who "transitions" eventually faces the reality that transitioning did not make them the opposite sex, and that all they achieved was the APPEARANCE of the opposite sex (if that). This explains why trans women become jealous of real women: Trans women get to a point when they realize that their transition was just artificial, and then they see the large numbers of real women who don't want them in their private spaces. Having developed the identity of a "trans woman" and not a real woman, it is a natural next step to start resenting real women. After all, a real woman takes for granted the very thing that a trans woman wants so desperately but can never have (womanhood). Thus, some trans women end up as misogynists.

Transitioning ultimately fails when the trans person realizes that he or she has become an actor, always self-consciously "portraying" the opposite sex, instead of just being themselves.

(Everyone here probably knows this stuff already. I just needed to write it out to clarify my thoughts.)

If you listen to the interview with Sasha, you learn a bit about Graham's father, and even more so if you read Tough Crowd.

Graham's father!

A chivalrous man, he adored his wife -- Graham's mother.

Look what a love like that can do.

It taught a young boy to love, respect, and protect woman.

And then, that boy went out into the world as one of the few men willing to fight the most important battle ever for children's and women's rights -- against a hideous ideology that very nearly destroyed him.

A love like that can light up the world.

Thank you Vincent Linehan.

And another thank you, of course, to Graham's mother for inspiring that kind of love.

Great to see Graham looking so well in the chat. I do agree there is a shift, the evidence is there today, and I agree also there is “too much stuff” out there, impossible to get to the detail of everything which perhaps explains why it has been so hard to get more people on board. Too easy just to read the headline activist propaganda and move on to the next distraction. Very hard to focus on anything and it’s driving us all mad. I hope Graham gets round to the music compilation. Listening to Human now. Fabulous.

Thanks JL.

Wow! The news from Northern Europe should really help.

That girl on the guitar is absolutely brilliant, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

The tide is still turning at a glacial pace, but it is.

As for that 'scarlet' blake obscenity, I've a feeling that JK Rowling simply saying 'I'm sick of this shit' has helped bring it out. It's been covered in many conservative US contents (whether we agree with their other policies, the Republicans are helping fighting back on this crap).

Thanks as ever, JL.

I have paused my WPATH read to catch up with the wonderful GNS.

Recipe for cheerfulness: take the WPATH files, add in the good news from Holland and Norway and sprinkle with the warnings against Gender GP. Mix thoroughly. Smile. 😂

I joined in the reporting earlier including a link to our Graham, of course: https://dustymasterson.substack.com/p/the-end-of-gender-affirming-care

And the sun is out 😎

Thanks again

Dusty

Thanks JL - as Dennis Kavanagh says, it's very significant that the Dutch parliament is finally questioning gender ideology, given its early enthusiastic embrace of it. Likewise the Scandi countries. It's a hell of a way to learn a lesson - especially for those poor souls who have irreparably-damaged their health - but if it saves more kids and vulnerable people from the same fate, it's all good.

On the Netherlands front, where Parliament is demanding investigation into the flimsy foundation (DeVries, Cohen-Kettinis, Steensma, 2011) we should ask the admirable Mr. Menno to follow what's in the press over there in Dutch! He'd probably find more detailed info! Time for those researchers to fess up to the fact that only 32 or 33 participants finished the exit survey and fess up about the communication they had with Ferring Pharma about the funding of the study, since its a producer of gonadatrophin agnonists, aka puberty blockers.

Is it actually true as reported in The Telegraph piece that the police are “required to record the gender of individuals when they are brought into our custody” and that if a man says he’s a women he’s recorded as a woman?? What is the source of this “requirement “? Is it a law or just guidance from the College of Policing? And why does Rishi Sunak only say the police “should “ instead record their biological sex? “Should” isn’t very strong! I’m confused and disappointed that the govt didn’t come back stronger than this and give the police no room to wriggle.
