Thanks as ever, JL, and...

WOW!! That women's toilets case is totally major!!! I am going to study it in detail. Surely this could be applied to schools where there are enormous problems with so called 'gender neutral' toilets. I was talking to a woman today who is battling away with her local schools about this ( and other issues). Increasing numbers of people are taking their children out of school because of all this madness!!

Great stuff, For Women Scotland. I have donated - though not quite as much as JKR🤣 Trouble is that the judgment will almost certainly come when we have (in all probability) a Labour Government so we had better pray they win!!

I named Educate and Celebrate , Indoctrinate and Disintegrate. Glad they are gone. And all the money has disappeared. Funny that!! But No Outsiders are still rolling.

A lesbian only venue! Gosh - though where have we got to when we think this is amazing!! Any old lags remember the Fallen Angel in Islington?

Thanks again and really excited by the Abbas case!!!! Definitely the headline for my next update.

Yes, the Abbas v ISS Facility Services case does give one a warm glow in the u-bend, doesn't it? The case was heard at an employment tribunal so I doubt the decision could have any bearing on a school's toilet provision. (A legal precedent has already been set by a case heard last year, Earl Shilton Council v K Miller, but this was at an employment appeal tribunal so, again, not applicable outside of the workplace.) Nevertheless, the Abbas case is extremely good news and the decision a further bolster to the argument for female-only SINGLE SEX spaces in a work environment.

Are in touch with the woman you mention who is involved in a battle over school toilets? She's probably already aware but the following information might be of use if not. Schools Premises Regulations (2012) ISS Regulation 23A section B states: "Separate toilet facilities for boys and girls aged 8 years or over are provided except where the toilet facility is provided in a room that can be secured from the inside and that is intended for use by one pupil at a time". Might be worth her contacting Safe Schools Alliance and/or Transgender Trend for some help.

Great stuff, JL, and thanks very much.

I have now also located the Earl Shipton judgment. I have some homework!!

I take your point about 'the workplace' but wonder if they could be persuasive in a potential school case? I shall ponder further!

Thanks very much also for the Schools Premises Regs which I will pass on to her. I have already directed her to Safe Schools and Transgender Trend and she is already in contact with her local Women's Rights Network group. She managed to get a local authority to withdraw a (totally unsuitable) book for children that they had produced so she is doing well!

The decision could be 'persuasive' but not in a legal sense, I'm afraid. There is specific legislation regarding the provision of toilet facilities in a workplace which, obviously, differs from the legislation which applies to toilet provision in schools. An ET or EAT, of course, consider their decisions only with regard to legislation specific to employment and the workplace.

OK thanks, JL, that is very helpful and understood.

Still great for workplace cases, of course!!

This is where the Tories have dropped the ball - they could have stepped in and sorted all this!!

Fantastic phrasing from the EBPF. The letter is respectful while also being devastating and making "Harriet" look like the utterly pathetic larper he is 🤣.

I've just discovered the Strike books and am on page 500 (which is only half-way though - does JKR write short books?!) and absolutely loving it. Can't wait to get into bed tonight to keep reading.

Good luck for your Oz tour Graham! I hope my fellow citizens give you the respect you richly deserve 🙏🏻🥳

It's great to read the good news this week. Would someone explain to me why the BBC is open to accepting J KR's dramas and is still not accepting Graham Linehan's work?

I thought that would possibly be the reason. That just makes this issue even more despicable. I'm even more angry now. Has JKR ever lent you support for the way you are being discriminated against?

I can understand why you might not want to answer that.

Always a boost to the old senses when sanity prevails. Everyone involved in the whackamole against transgender ideology insanity will look back in a few years and think 'did that stuff really happen'?

I hope we do, and we do have to keep reminding each other, but it's hard to grasp even as we live through this. Just read the credit under a Daily Mail photo that says 'Reverend Dr Bernard Randall, 51, (pictured) refused to chant 'smash heteronormativity' during an Educate and Celebrate session'. It's hard to fathom now just how mad this is. It's every authoritarian regime's tactics you can think of and having to swear fealty to the new Gender God. Literal chanting? It's a cult, come on everyone it's a cult!

I can't help but laugh at how totally outlandishly mad that is - the shark really jumped the shark but it's also deadly serious if not terrifying as he lost his job. It's hard to grasp how it could possibly happen and we are all being forced very close to the wire with all of it. How the hell did that man find himself in a 'training' session in his school where he was being forced to chant such things? It's got nothing to do with anything other than forcefully pushing the malevolent propaganda of a very small sector of 'charity' grifters who found this empty ideology to be the perfect vehicle for them. And in education!? They all popped up, all for 'training'.

Still concerning is 'The chair of trustees Julie Bremner - who was a civil servant for 31 years - said: 'It was our decision to close the charity. We are all long serving teachers, school leaders and academics who have dedicated our careers to inclusion in education. We will continue our much-needed work through new projects.' Oh really, pray tell, what are those? It's 'much-needed' as it gives people like this an income, purpose and power. So Julie will carry on regardless. Like a ball of fungus puffing its spores out to settle over a wider distance. These are people who instigated this: 'Rev Randall was dismissed by Trent College after the school flagged him to the government's Prevent programme for giving a sermon that was 'harmful to LGBT' students. Police investigated the tip-off but advised the school by email that Dr Randall posed 'no counter terrorism risk, or risk of radicalisation'.

I had to read that a few times. The complete muppets referred him to Prevent??!!! I still am astonished every time I read that. The police actually had to waste time investigating and to point that out to total lunatics. Who are still presumably employed but clearly don't have two brain cells to rub together. They are dangerous propagandists and should be arrested for wasting police time.

For Women Scotland- that CrowdJustic donation page does not have an option to donate anonymously. (I have often seen that option- though maybe it was on other sites??). anyway- I thnik there needs to be an 'Anon' button, or else your name could be listed, or be available for searching
