On 26th November the LGB Alliance hosted a web discussion about gender identity ideology and its implications for men who are same-sex attracted.
It featured veteran documentary film maker, Malcolm Clark, former Labour Party policy advisor, Lachlan Stuart, engagement consultant and former Chair of Trustees for the LGBT Consortium, James Roberts, and writer, broadcaster and lifelong gay rights activist, Simon Fanshawe, who was one of the original founders of Stonewall.
In tweets now deleted, gay institution, Boys Magazine, promoted this event via its Twitter Account.
But it wasn’t long before the flaming pitchforks of the trans rights activists were ignited. The usual (and wholly unsubstantiated) allegations of hate and bigotry followed.
And guess who was leading the charge?
Paisley was indeed “Working on it” and went after Boyz Magazine and the LGB Alliance with vitriolic fervour.
Of course, Benjamin Cohen and Pink News, were eagerly fanning the flames.
The ravening mob knew exactly where to strike and targeted the companies who stock or advertise in Boyz Magazine.
Much of the vitriol came from the very people the magazine represents. A choir in which membership is strictly limited to gay men called the LGB Alliance a ‘hate group’ for defending the rights of the same-sex attracted. Who says irony is dead?
The Royal Vauxhall Tavern blocked the LGB Alliance stating that it “will not deal with anyone who supports them”.
The determination to throw Boyz to the wolves didn’t stop there and the RVT, one of the most famous gay venues in London, now refuses to stock the magazine.
Pride in London, a major LGB organisation with 83,000 followers, also slung around accusations of ‘hate’ and ‘transphobia’ and severed its ties with Boyz Magazine.
It also hid any dissenting replies.
Boyz is a free magazine which relies on advertising and distribution to turn a profit and pay staff. Not surprisingly, with members of its own community posing such a threat to business and livelihoods, it had no choice but to cave.
And even when the magazine capitulated with a grovelling apology, this wasn’t good enough for David Paisley who then went after its editor.
Why would a group of gay people, businesses and organisations attack Boyz Magazine with such ferocity? All it had done was express the need for a debate and promoted a discussion featuring some of the most venerable and experienced men in LGBT rights activism. Simon Fanshawe was a founder of Stonewall, for goodness’ sake.
Writing in The Spectator, Brendan O’Neill describes The disgraceful crusade against the LGB Alliance.
“The hatred for this group is intense. The efforts to cancel LGB Alliance – by branding it a ‘hate group’, depriving it of opportunities to raise money, and robbing it of the oxygen of publicity – are out of control. Its crime? It is sceptical of some of the claims of transgender activists. Hence there is no ‘T’ in its name. Its aim is to protect and promote the interests of people who are attracted to the same sex – that is, lesbians, gay men and bisexuals – and therefore it believes that the reality of sex is quite an important thing.
There was another explosion of hatred against the group this week. The gay magazine Boyz became the target of visceral contempt for daring to retweet the sinners of LGB Alliance on its Twitter feed.
There is a whiff of neo-Stalinism to all this. A publication was essentially blacklisted for expressing a view that runs counter to the new orthodoxy. It was forced into a very public climbdown in an effort to save its business and the jobs of its staff from the unforgiving mob. All for promoting a group that has the temerity to exercise its freedom of association to promote the interests of lesbians, gay people and bisexuals rather than anyone else. In the past it would have been nutty homophobes who tried to revoke the freedom of association of gays and lesbians; now it’s the hyper-woke.”
It seems that, gay or straight, some men will defend this ideology with religious fervour. Because, gay or straight, all men benefit from maintaining the cultural and social systems which keep them the dominant and powerful sex.
We give the final word to the people who DO have the bravery and integrity to stand up for the rights of their gay, lesbian and bisexual siblings.
Here's some comic relief for a Saturday- Aidan's hilariously terrible story.

This is just frightening. Even an apology is not enough and they want blood and people to be unemployed. We really do live on frightening times and I wish everyone would get peak transed already. Where will it all end?
