I was just reading on Twitter about a load of abuse Adele is currently getting because of something she said last night at the Brit awards. Apparently she said she was proud to be a woman, or something. Anyway I didn't know anything about it so I clicked on a tweet which asked 'what did she do?' which apparently had one response. That tweet was preceded by the message "Show additional replies, including those that may contain offensive content". I clicked on it. What was this supposed offensive content (according to Twitter)? A tweet which reads "She said she loved being a woman". Literally, those seven words. Offensive, apparently. 🙄🤡

Yes, the TransTech trolls are striking with a vengeance at women and anyone breathing a word against their hallowed transindustry. It'll backfire, though. YouTube threw Exulansic w/her 15K followers off the platform. She went to Odysee and had over a 1000 followers 24 hrs later. (everyone here should go follow/support her). The YouTube manlets also removed the documentary "The Call is Coming From Within the House, (about the butchery called "transgender medicine"). People will simply go elsewhere and their hate of the Blue Stack will manifest in lost elections for Democrats - which they deserve. Unfortunately, there's no one deserving of the support and votes that was once the Dems'. I sure don't hear Republicans speaking out against the gender woo.

I hope it will backfire. But for as long as these companies control mainstream social media and communication - and they do - I don't see how .

We have to go and use the alternatives. It'll take time, but Facebook is dying, and Twitter doesn't look so hot either. Gettr has more than 4 million users. Odysee is an alternative to YouTube, which has become grotesque in its censorship (and curtailing people's ability to make a living). Contact your reps in Congress and state, and tell them what you think.

Both the problems that women have with the TRA industry and the problems that everyone has with resisting mandates of being 'vaccinated' can be laid at the door of the Pharmaceutical industry. For sure Silicon Valley is involved too, as are others, but the main heft comes from Pharma. In fact considering the strong attempts to vaccinate kids, who are not threatened by any version of these [imaginary] viruses, maybe the two fronts that the Pharma Industry has with humans are in fact the same front. ie. what is in the kids' vaccines?

Expand full comment

Woah there '[imaginary]' viruses? Seriously? I'm guessing you're not a virologist?

Is there any other sort of virus?

Anyway getting away from my main point, that kids do not need vaccines and what the hell is in their shots.

It really is. It does have one good side, though - as one Twitter comment had it, "It shows that is needed to be labelled a TERF is to say 'I'm a woman' ".

Everything is now potentially sensitive, so be good girls and boys now and STFU :-(

I'm a bit worried I'll blithely click on something they've marked, asking me are you sure you want to make the grave decision to proceed and I'm so used to their fake warnings and hyperbole over words like 'woman' I'll be met with something genuinely offensive and alarming. It's like some mass social experiment in getting us to be afraid of the opposite thing we should be afraid of. Then blame us for the consequences. Mass and industrial crying wolf whilst the wolf's been in gobbling our weakest.

Expand full comment

Marking "woman" as potentially offensive is utterly offensive to me!!!

Exactly! Their share price tanking is the only way they listen though. It's portraying us as something we aren't. Which not only protects those who abuse others, it further hides and marginalises those they abuse. They need to realise what actual abuse, offense and harassment is. I saw this and wept for a number of reasons. If we help them understand that they can't pretend it's not happening to us or they are somehow powerless to stop it. Now 'we've' 'realised' how many feel unsafe on our streets, who, and why, 'we' have the opportunity to stop it:

Meh. He lost me when he got indignant about Alex Jones losing some of the platforms he used to spread his vile and incendiary conspiracy theories. I can oppose trans activism without being on the side of people like that, or the Q Anons who also seem to be looked upon favorably by the writer.

Just because I think the Left's embrace of gender ideology is insane and wrong doesn't mean I'm going to wink at the batshit craziness of far right-wingers. I don't have to be on one "team" or the other. I like to think I'm on the side of logic, sanity, and fairness. That doesn't include dangerous and incendiary figures like Alex Jones.

Thank you Adult Human Female. I agree with you 100%. Just because I oppose the insanity of trans activism, it doesn't mean I wish to embrace misogynists, racists and anti science right wingers either.

Russell Brand has just been branded the same as Alex Jones. This is why it is worrisome to suggest that anyone should be censored who is not explicitly advocating violence. Because I know from well-sourced writing that the U.S. government is up to no good brands me a conspiracy theorist. It is a phrase I am very careful to use accurately.

Joe Rogan isn’t a right winger, though. I always picked and chose among his episodes, and almost never got to the end of any of them because they are too long. I did listen to part of the Alex Jones one because he’s such a crackpot and I was curious.

Sam Harris had a great take on Rogan- he has had people on his pod that he was curious about, and isn’t a journalist or a scientist. He often learns about his guest’s point of view in real time. He has been slow to recognize that as the most popular podcast in the world, he actually wields a ton of power and has to be more responsible with it. Anyone who has listened to his show knows he’s not an evil person, not a racist, and not mean spirited.

I don't like the new format of the page, Graham. I was going to post the link to this article elsewhere, but since I don't know how to pick up the link directly from my email box, I went to your page on my browser, and the Blue Stack article is nowhere to be seen on your page. Your post fell into my mailbox at 6:42 am CST; it's now 10:15. Maybe it takes a while for it to show up? The top article under "New," btw, is from Jan. 8. The most recent article I can see is dated Feb 7, about the Tavistock head & the furries. Can't see the anorexia/Ellen Page post either.

What amazes me is that Neil Young and Joni Mitchell were the light bearers for Freedom of Speech and have now decided that Freedom of Speech should only be granted to those who agree with them. Must be something to do with record sales and the lack of them!! That is my cynical side coming out.

Either people support freedom of speech or they don't, there is no half way house. There is a responsibility that comes with freedom of speech, but Joe R didn't breach that in his podcasts, so why this backlash?

There is are probably as many antivaxxers are there are trans allies. So why take on one, but not the other. Both are damaging to society. Both have extreme views. Only one really important.

Apologies to all subscribers from the US, so many more of your fellow citizens seem to have completely lost the plot. But please help keep those plotless people and their opinions over there and not allow them to infiltrate over here. Thanks.

Neil Young and Joni Mitchell are part of the COMFORTABLE class. They have not kept up with the times and nothing really affects them as they are insulated.

And you know what? I am getting very suspicious of the entire covid mess due to 1) an RN testifying that she was not permitted to give any treatment to covid patients in NYC in April 2020; 2) Dr Brownstein, a wonderful doctor, being told by the government to take down his covid treatment protocols; and 3) a Maine doctor who has had her license suspended for effectively treating people with covid. What the fuck is going on, people?

I would never spend any time denying covid, but I am beginning to believe it has benefited certain people who look to make piles of money from it and don't want anyone providing good treatment that doesn't benefit the medical-industrial complex. I agree and of course it has. It seemed to have turbo charged the wealth of some and in even more obscene ways. In the UK we've had billions here and billions there wasted and 'we' absorb that by now raising taxes.

We had 'VIP lanes' set up to fast track some businesses and 'trusted people' could 'recommend' them. It's dodgy as all hell and is part of why trust is so affected (if not broken).

How so, Martin?

My experience these last five years with social media is that the progressives merged with media and high powered corporations to censor and silence women who were speaking out very eloquently about transgender ideology.

I have been censored and de-plaformed on Twitter, Facebook, and Medium to name a few, simply for saying “no woman has a penis.”

Women have lost their jobs and been subject to lawsuits over this machine that is driven by progressive activism and bent on handing the state the power to determine what can or cannot be spoken. There are so many instances of this that I am curious why you think it’s just a far right conspiracy.

BTW, I am a lifelong actual leftist radical feminist who walks the walk, but has distanced myself since I realized how much worse that side views and treats women in the grand scheme of things.

It doesnt mean i support the right. It means I realized most people are delusional hypocrites who cherry pick their way through issues and lie to themselves about being the “good guys.”

But I am to take it you support corporations removing people’s jobs if they don’t like the things they say?

Completely agree - same here old leftist leaning and now happy to be called 'right wing' by the woketards who wont recognise my sex or how our freedoms are being stolen from under our noses

I’m def not happy to be called right wing by a pack of hypocritical assholes who are literally everything they accuse other people of being.

Fuck them.

Every self proclaimed Marxist who owns luxury homes and cars and such and who openly supports the commodification of women as sex objects is the big fat nasty pig in Animal Farm.

Every heterosexual person who now identifies as queer is also silencing and erasing the very homosexual people who had to fight tooth and nail just to be able to legally be out in the open about being same sex attracted. Because sex is real and identifying as a cat girl is a psychotic delusion.

Oh, and you have to love how the privileged liberals with their useless college degrees and total inability to do anything that has actual value to anyone in regards to what people need to live shit on working class people (like myself) who do the hard and dirty work, as well as the non-white immigrants who do the hardest and dirtiest of work, while they speak of inclusion and human dignity and rights.

It is disgusting. I can’t wait for the working class to dump these useless, whining, control hungry assholes over the cliff.

What we all need to do is come together to raise our rates and demand raises for all the work that actually keeps things running, and let the infrastructure around these people collapse while we take care of each other.

Go ahead, censor and silence the working class POV. I organized for fifteen years back in the day. I am happy to answer the call to do what we had to do over a hundred hears ago to get our actual rights.

I want to see the ruling class crashed hard into a brick wall of their own making.

Here is something Signed and supported in the last week by Amnesty International. A perfect example of so called “progressives for human rights” saying openly that anyone who disagrees with them about men being the only “women” whose voice matters should have no representation or rights:

“We call on media, and politicians to no longer provide

legitimate representation for those that share bigoted

beliefs, that are aligned with far right ideologies and

seek nothing but harm and division. These fringe

internet accounts stand against affirmative medical

care of transgender people, and they stand against the

right to self-identification of transgender people in

this country. In summation they stand against trans,

women's and gay rights by aligning themselves with

far right tropes and stances. They have attacked LGBT+

education in school, attacked anti-bullying campaigns,

and attack access to medical services. They stand to

remove equality, and cause a legacy of damaging

discrimination.”

Do you think women deserve to have the jackboot of every government, ngo, university, and corporation crushing our throats, martin?

This think with Joe Rogan reeks because there are SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE on Spotify who have been convicted of crimes like trafficking minors for sex, or raping women they rendered unconscious with drugs, who have zero people saying they should not have a place in the public forum.

This attack on Rogan seems more about the list of people he’s given a platform to for any reason, not over “misinformation.”

And for fauxgressives to keep attacking people for speaking about racial divides, here is one for you:

The most racist people I know, with absolutely no black or Hispanic friends or experience with cultures other than their tight little circles of privileged, indoctrinated people who are at the top of the food chain, are the liberals in my blue state.

If Rogan wasn't milking it I might, might, take this more seriously. Jilani wasn't such an opportunist (check out his history of sliding across the political spectrum) like so many of the snake oil ideological grifters in the US, I might take this more seriously. I have more time for Rogan than Jilani, Rogan seems like a genuine old style libertarian, unlike the Republican authoritarians that have latched on to the term. But Rogan, and Stern et al, will continue to rake it in. I note Jilani is writing for the Tablet, well if wants to see how people really get cancelled in America he could look at what happens if you are a pro Palestinian in academia, its the only equivalent I can think of the treatment of Gender Critical feminists; and neither of those two groups are made up of super rich shock jocks. Sorry to be outlier.
