How convenient they now have a problem with the sample size of surveys. That '48% of all trans youth attempt suicide' stat comes from a survey of 27 trans youth https://fairplayforwomen.com/suicide/

Well there you go - a (belated) welcome to reality for the BBC. It seems that tucking your penis into a pair of women's knickers doesn't make it a vagina (or "female penis") after all!

Every day's a school day...

Coercion into having sex is rape, simple as that but we all know it.

Just rang The BBC via your link above, Graham, got a lovely Irish chappie, praised The BBC to the moon and back, for once, begged them NOT to now issue an apology, but to hold their heads up really high and do more and more articles, finally getting the TRUTH out...and thanked them for standing up for women who are same sex attracted, and how ALL women are being harassed by Transworld, the end goal being the total erasure of women and all our rights. I even told him about your site too. :0) I ended by telling him to go and have a very strong, sweet cup of tea, to get over my call, as I rabbit on and on, so deeply is this affecting me....Oh..and I told him about The Lancet's 'bodies with vaginas' description of women...he couldn't believe that....Sure wish I could sue The Lancet for that, as it still upsets me to this day, really deeply....shockingly abusive to women. Anyway, well done The BBC! Hark, is that Owen The Terrible I hear, exploding? lol

If the 'lived experience' of 80 ppl can be discounted, when does 'lived experience' count?

We can see this exact mantra and bullying from TRAs/MRAs every day on twitter.

We had a lesbian being brow beaten on tiktok last week. Poor woman actually apologised and promised to work on letting males into her love-life.

It's right there, and these MRAs are literally liking the tweets. And now they cry 'No Story'.

Of course lesbians have been calling this out for years. But it's still great that the Beeb ran this article.

Glinner was pillored for reminding us of this last year, so fair dinkum, GL!!

The TRAs really aren’t having their best day. They are raging - if there’s no such thing as a Cotten ceiling why are they so furious. This is one critical article - well written - again the gazillion articles written to appease these jumped up extremists. These butters are absolutely devoid of balance and critical thinking.

Also, a toast to Magdalen Berns this evening.

Sadly missed, and never more than today, when a great many more people heard to the message she sent years ago.

Owen Jones' response to Auntie giving a voice to disobedient/difficult lesbians is, if nothing else, totally transparent.

"I'm looking to talk to LGBTQ journalists at the BBC about their experiences working there, under *strict anonymity*."

I can’t express how happy I feel reading this article. I have submitted comments to BBC thanking them for acknowledging what my gay daughter has experienced

From the article:

"In addition to Veronica Ivy, I contacted several other high profile trans women who have either written or spoken about sex and relationships. None of them wanted to speak to me but my editors and I felt it was important to reflect some of their views in this piece."

There are several prominent trans women in the UK who have a lot to say about all sorts of issues related to trans people - always following the Stonewall party line. Interesting that none of them were prepared to voice any opinions about this . . . what does that mean?

I've responded to the BBC Feedback form on Caroline's article:

It is about time that the BBC started to report on this issue. Its a number of years late to the party, but now you had better produce further articles like this and the Nolan Podcast. Gender Ideology is insidious demanding that society perceives individuals as the *individuals* demand. This is authoritarian and totalitarian especially when such a tiny narcissistic group has managed to capture Government, Civil Service, MPs, Media - looking at you BBC - NGOs, Education, businesses etc to validate narcissism. This article by Caroline Lowbridge shows the worst levels of that narcissism. It is detailing how young women, exploring their sexuality and finding they are lesbians, are then being told they are wrong and bigotted and transphobic for not centering MEN as potential sexual partners just because those narcissistic MEN have decided to call themselves "women" and "lesbians". This is NO different to "corrective rape" by men for lesbians in the past. It is no different to grooming by men of young girls. BBC - you were shamed by the Saville Scandal. If you continue to support gender ideology the way you have been, if you apologise for this article, if you sideline Caroline, the Saville Scandal will be *nothing* compared to the active support you have for the insidious rape acceptance that some parts of "gender ideology" has. This article is seminal and important. You should be loudly supporting Caroline. You should be listening carefully and amplifying the voices of Women who are being erased by Men demanding to be viewed as "Women". You need to listen to Lesbians voices who are being erased by the same Men. You need to listen to Gay Men who are being told they are transphobic for not wanting to sleep with "transmen" (who are FEMALE). You need to listen to the girls confused about their sexuality, terrified by the society objectification and falling into the trap of thinking they are "in the wrong body". You need to shout out AGAINST Gender Ideology.

(Its exactly 2000 characters! I would have said more).
