That just makes no sense. Clearly written by a blue haired teenager. It reads like a summary of the nonsensical viewpoints they put forward. Thanks for the synopsis though, weirdly entertaining

Yup.

Tim snaps. He asks: “So I’m supposed to let someone I think is a man into a ladies’ toilet am I?” Luca replies that, yes, he should.

Lesbians needing contraception for heterosexual sex.

Sums it up really!

The whole story line is utterly ridiculous.

I think they ran out of time, maybe another episode where the man turns out to really be a man with a penis who identifies as a Lesbian.

Expand full comment

Note that the supposedly butch woman that an angry man is telling to stop using the female toilets (as if!) is a person of colour. This reminds me of the TRA argument that because black women are women then men can also be women. And also that sex based safeguarding is apartheid, as if men being barred from spaces where women and girls are naked and vulnerable is as cruel and discriminatory as racial segregation. Absolute clowns

Expand full comment

Yes clowns who think they are clever. It's this genital obsession made real! This is some fantasy they have that they claim we have. They actually made actors do that scene.

What was anyone supposed to draw from this party political broadcast from the genderloony party? They confuse genuine minorities and experiences with identities, identifiers and characteristics to symbolise what they choose, when they choose. They think discrimination is a sweetie box to dip into when you want to get your own way and oppress others. It's hard not think they chose those actors and that actor of colour for a very specific reason - their attitude to intersectionality grievance bollix bingo which is crass and highly offensive - so she's even more morally right because she's black as she's always persecuted because she's black? If so, that is ascribing moral purity or evil based on skin colour. And are they damn well suggesting black women look manly? Trans activists do this a lot. WTAF? Oh but yeah but no but yeah but she's a poor put upon woman for this purpose (so all woman-identifying-maybe-trans-who-knows-people are good in this storyline). And a lesbian (even better for the purposes of this storyline). Because don't forget all lesbians have short hair, that's the rule you see, weren't they clever to mention that part of her backstory? She probably doesn't shave her legs too, that's what makes a woman lesbian too. So someone gender non-conforming, well according to rather old-fashioned and rigid stereotypes (again a 'trans' favourite). Yet somehow needing hormonal contraception as her partner produces female lesbian wimminy sperm because the sperm identify as that. Give this fictional creation all the points! I'm surprised they didn't dress the baddie man up to look like JKR. They chuck a gay man in to sympathise and coo (because all gay men are nice like that) and hammer home their point, whatever that is. No het man or woman could be sympathetic, only another persecuted minority can ever have that kindness or understanding. So if all of this has left the viewer confused it shows you're a bigot and the lesson is it's best to never challenge anyone about anything, just say yes, be coerced and go along with whatever they want?

How the hell have they squeezed so many twisted empty stereotypes and ignorant bigotry into one storyline? It sums up this current breed of batshit trans activism. Racist, sexist, homophobic.

This isn't funny - there's lots of research on the very different and worse experience black and minority background women have in women's health services - being doubted, disbelieved and the myths about different experiences of pain are still happening now. How dangerous that is for fertility, pregnancy and childbirth. And this joke of a BBC programme misses the opportunity to do something good in favour of spreading propaganda.

Hey BBC, what's the picture of contraceptive services across the UK? Looking rosy is it?

I've seen statements around the idea that black women are the 'get out of jail free' argument for men to say they're women before. The racism is utterly, completely offensive and yet, because it IS part of the argument for men to say they're women, no-one says anything. Pfft!

Expand full comment

Yes they often say that concerns about Gender are racist.

Expand full comment

What's that saying again? .... oh yes, this never happens! Exactly what desperate-to-be-victims trans activists fantasize is happening every single day, all across the country, bigots assaulting innocent women who are slightly non-conforming because of course, you can't actually tell if someone is trans or not. Back over here in reality land, no-one is barging into anyone's private GP consultation and commenting on their confidential medical treatment (this is where they really ought to have called the police no matter how resigned the martyr to their ubiquitous victimization) let alone because they are 'gender critical'. They should just drop the pretense and make a whole-assed witch assault an innocent totally-passing trans girl in the GP's loos.

Wait, are you telling me you haven't pulled down anyone's trousers recently to check they have the 'correct' genitals? I'm gonna report you to TERF HQ for slacking.

I think I will make it a daily obligation. I’m getting the bus in a minute. I will do a survey and deliver a full report, with pictures, to HQ. Got to live up to my TERF status.

But don't whatever you do ask the SNP's Kirsty Blackman if she's ever on the bus with you, she only 'vaguely' know what even her own genitals look like, or even if they exist, who knows, how could anyone know, so maybe always keep a magnifying glass and Ladybird book to help you make the correct classification. And take a gynaecologist with you just in case (unless you are one, in that case, you must be busy).

When you get involved with this discussion, they always try and have a gotcha and show you a hairy, bearded woman, bare chest showing scars, flexing their T muscles and say would you let this person in. Best reply, well yes, she's a woman. They really hate that as the only thing that defines them is what they wear.

I had to turn that episode off. Doctors is one of my favourite soaps but they do seemed to have been captured over the last couple of years. They turned the Bisexual character, Emma, panesexual and have her use the Q word. It’s infuriating.

Yes Savile was part of the rot but he's not the first and won't be the last. Why are they doing this? Because they have allowed themselves to be bought and paid for by a non reality based ideological cult that seeks to destroy women and children's safety and dignity along with lgb rights to not have this shoved at them night noon and morning, to pander to a fetishistic nonsense, nothing on the BBC us worth watching anymore, I dont want this cult crap, on a taxpayers dime, your not clever, it's not kind, it's perverted and false

I have also read that they have an LGBTQIA+ affinity group that ensures it sits in on all planning meetings for future shows.

Wonder why they do that ?

I don’t have a licence so can’t watch any BBC content (or any live TV - totally ridiculous) but I heard that one of their doctor programmes had a medic excited about their mastectomy and how positive a bit of self mutilation can be. Young and confused girls watch this nonsense, reinforced by extremists on TikTok. In fact I am sick of all of the soaps. Used to be mildly entertaining, now they are constantly preaching and “raising awareness” if not being overrun by serial killers.

Expand full comment

It's very odd how they have taken their 'public service' and 'education' element and been completely captured by this element. They shoehorn these weird nonsense things in and it's very obvious what their messaging is as it clonks you over the head. I agree with spreading genuine public health messages through subtler easier to absorb ways, not your country needs you type sign up for war, but this is ludicrous.

This is very concerning, indoctrination of the worst kind. It actually targets its main audience- the older generation who, if my elderly mother is anything to go by, would be the most doubting, gender critical group. They are also the most vulnerable and the least likely to be confrontational in a situation such as the one explored in Doctors.

Expand full comment

It is isn't it? And if you are younger or older, or in any way vulnerable or in need of care and watching this with carers coming into your own home, or watching in a care home and a hulking great man comes in to do personal care, you are being influenced to never ever ask or doubt or challenge and agree that is a woman. So you can't say no or you are therefore a bigot. So your access to care is put at risk. I am fuming. BBC is encouraging us to confuse basic safeguarding in a health and care setting with gender ideology.

Does the BBC fully understand what they're supporting ? The idiots running it are either paedophile supporting groomers or they're completely out of touch with truth and REALITY. Given their history ,it looks more like the former. So much for a mainstream "news " channel. It's nothing more than a propaganda machine and a mouthpiece for the most sinister ,pernicious ,movement that most of us have ever seen. What kind of person supports indoctrinating, castrating and mutilating children in the name of an ideological cult ? I used to watch doctors but not for a long time ,thank God ! Thanks for posting this 👏👍

I am fairly annoyed with having to search a few news sources to get a fairer and more realistic approximation of an issue. The things that the BBC refuses to mention mean things go wild on social media. That erodes trust even further. They partly quoted a witness earlier, to again deliberately remove something which is a fact but that they seem to deem as too sensitive to mention. Other sources mention it. So they don't mention it and edit what the witness had actually said verbatim. I am sick of these little tweaks. It's a filtering for a purpose. When I am aware of something, then check the BBC, it's usually a very different, slightly vague suggestion that something maybe has happened to someone somewhere. But then trans, trans, trans are featured.

I’ve been hearing about satanism from the priest podcast I listen to. There was the Balenciaga incident as well. It sounds as though it’s been set up as a sort of fashionable trend. There was something about a celebratory ritual after an abortion. Not weird at all.

Congratulations for actually managing to watch this episode!

It is a terrible nuisance all these gender critical men hanging around outside the ladies ( sorry, non-men's) loos and continually pulling people's trousers down at the least provocation.

Did the writer go to John Hopkins University by any chance?

Sorry the giant rabbit next to me wants to discuss something so I'll have to go now
