These days queer =/= gay anymore. Queer is about pushing boundaries regarding sexuality, identity, and attraction. The last bit is important because it is that which paedophiles would try to legitimise their movement under the umbrella of acceptance and tolerance. The vast majority of LGBT don't want anything to do with them of course, but we see that line being crossed regarding age and consent a lot with certain factions of the community. Seriously, or rather not seriously, when I was about 14 or 15 us boys at school used to have a laugh about the fact that we fancied girls so we must be lesbians (this is back in the 1970's). Obviously if you go to an all-boys school youre going to have a laugh about sex with girls because you probably only meet a girl when your sister tells you to stop being an asshole to her friends.
