I take it those logos behind Keir are sponsors of the awards - no surprises to see Reddit there.

So Starmer supports organisations that encourage the physical abuse of vulnerable children, yet won't join a picketline supporting folk who can't afford to live. Confused priorities there methinks...

Siri, show me why the Labour Party keeps losing to the most unpopular Conservative governments in the history of polling

Expand full comment

Idk, the Tories seem to be imploding at the moment, unless they pull things together before the next election they're probably toast, and for the first time in my life I'm not sure I want Labour to win, because of one single issue...

Expand full comment

I know, terrible isn't it. If they weren't The Autogynephiles Party, I'd be rejoicing right now.

Expand full comment

I'm in exactly the same position as you and my head is still spinning at the fact that, for the first time in my life, I don't want Labour to win - unfortunately just as they're looking more and more likely to. The current Tories are the worst I've ever seen, which makes me realize just how big this one issue is for me. If not for GI and their complete capitulation to it, I'd be celebrating a 30 point Labour poll lead all day long. What crazy times.

Expand full comment

Just our luck that the first time I'm confident they'll win is the first time I want them not to. If women abandon the party en masse at the next GE maybe they'll take notice, but if they get a majority, even a small one they won't care, they're too captured at this point.

FFS, Starmer also said he will ban all conversion therapy and implement the GIDs affirmative form of treatment, so basically ignoring the Cass Report.

Expand full comment

I hope the Cass Report drops before the next election. I'd be worried Labour would bury it if they get in first. At least if it's out they won't be able to say no one warned them.

Turban didn't know the natal sex of his subjects. He started out the most recent study with the goal of "proving" that gender dysphoria in girls is not a social contagion. So he hid the girls. They claim to be male in his convenience sample. Links to 6 studies below. Psych 101 on bad data, invalid studies.

'Pink News is a toxic force in public life. It's the woke equivalent of Alex Jones...'

Deserved. Jones' grotesque lies, his absence of conscience about tormenting suffering families stir revulsion. Pink News moves in mirroring ways.

Jones is now being punished. Is it too much to hope for a parallel there, too?

I’m just flabbergasted at this. I can see that this may not be top of his agenda but is there no one around him with the antenna to see this is unwise? The Tories may not last much longer but as long as they do they can batter Labour in ‘the culture wars’ and the more desperate they get..Apart from that, have he and his advisors,or shadow cabinet paid NO attention to the Cass report and the Tavistock’s downfall? Does anyone know why there is such a huge blindspot here?Is he really unaware of well-known feminist campaigners that he must have come across even as DPP ie Julie Bindel? Why does he ignore Joan Smith?Hell,JK Rowling was a big donor wasn’t she?He must be aware? I feel utterly betrayed by Labour.

so disappointing. Why do people pander to these radicals. I want so much more from labour. And i f-ing hate the tories but labour are failing everyone in this. I’d sleep better at night if medical interventions were banned for children. How can letting a child develop into the adult they are genetically destined to become be controversial. All those drugs and surgery. Its just wrong. F-ing with people that are vulnerable and in pain. And our policians line up to endorse the f-ing a holes that are pushing this harmful agenda. Labour needs to sort their shit out on this, or i may find myself voting for the tories. Which would be in direct contrast to where i am politically, but i’m afraid children’s welfare is more important than anything to me. And these f-ing parents treating their kids like designer babies. Willing to sacrifice their children’s bodies to get what they want. Puberty blockers are child abuse.

Me too. I can't bring myself to vote labour ,lib dem ,greens or SNP. It's either Tory or not vote at all and I've never not voted in any elections. Thing is ,we need a strong opposition to these toxic left wing policies. America's in a dire state because of it as well

i just wrote to my mp and said labour will lose my vote if they don’t promise to ban puberty blockers. I’m sick of children paying the price for all this. Its immoral

And Truss is gone, but hey 45 days is better than 4 to 5 days!

Expand full comment

It's completely upside down isn't it. The Tories are ghastly, they haven't a clue and don't seem to give a toss beyond saving their own skins. Also, the present nightmare has almost all happened under their watch, so it's not like disaffected left-leaning voters can see them as some bastion of sanity.

And yet Labour's position is far worse, beyond criminal stupidity and likely to codify even more of this apocalyptically dangerous nonsense into law. Same goes for Greens, Lib Dems and SNP.

When I tell people I'm politically homeless, I'm dead serious - there is literally no one I can vote for out of any of the mainstream parties and still sleep at night.

I'm absolutely terrified for every kid growing up in this clusterf*** of a country right now. Children should be allowed to explore who they are freely without gender Nazis trying to usher them into the abbatoir.

How many thousands, maybe millions of children getting mutilated, sterilised, permanently medicated, left in constant pain and with probably dramatically reduced life expectancy is it going to take?

And yet whenever I talk to any of my otherwise intelligent, rational friends, it's like talking to a brick wall. They are like trampolines. Every fact you send their way just comes back with "no, that's not true" or "no, that doesn't happen". GI has turned people into cultist automatons. I've never seen anything like it in my life.

I used to laugh at those people with their "the end of the world is nigh" billboards. Now I'm starting to think they're right.

You're lucky, I've seen people deny glaring truths all my life because they were inconvenient, not conducive to their own comfort. You've never seen blind conformity until you've observed Americans and their flag-worship.

The question that is interests me is what is in it for Starmer's Labour in taking this line which, they must now be aware, is deleterious to women and girls?

Do you think their motivation is:

A) They think that it will win them the youth vote and have intentionally ceded older, socially conservative, voters to the Tories

B) They think it differentiates them from the Tories and makes them out to be the good guys in a climate where Labour no longer have a single clear purpose or USP

C) Starmer and the handmaidens are terrified of the activists in their party, (in which case you would have to wonder how they would stand up to a belligerent foreign power, for example)

D) They want to lose the election - coming second is very comfortable, thank you

E) Big pharma is pulling their strings

F) Other?

I am taking it as read that they don't care about women's rights or harms to vulnerable women and girls, mutilation of children etc., that they think the opposition to self ID is a lot of fuss from a few hysterical types on Mumsnet and Twitter and they really believe that left wing women won't actually stop voting for them when it comes to the point.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

All of the above! Sorry.

Thanks. The point of this is to develop some sort of strategy for debunking their adherence to gender ideology in the teeth of all the evidence.

MONEY. It always comes down to money. As someone recently said to me, all politicians and political parties need to have their finances publicized on a constant basis. The Labour Party is getting money from somewhere, money which requires them to adhere to this ideology.

I agree money is at least a big part of the answer. Also for the SNP.

Always hated Pink News from before I became aware of the trans mess.

I remember they told lies about Freddie Mercury's life, their sources straight from the tabloids he hated as proof. Their stories focused on his attraction to females, with a bunch of fake girlfriends listed, calling him bisexual. He wasn't bisexual, he only had 2 girlfriends in the late 60s/early 70s because he was closeted. Tumblr kids deny 'closeted gay man' is a thing and Pink News is obviously run by Tumblr kids and pandering to that myth, diminishing his status as an iconic gay man.

Speak to any of the surviving gay men that knew him and they will all tell you he was homosexual and not bisexual and never mentioned females in a sexual way. Next, Pink News will be telling you he was trans and Glam Rock/Classic Rock stars were all women.

I think you've hit the nail on the head with 'Tumblr kids'. We're in a situation where spoilt children who've been raised on a diet of internet rubbish are somehow pulling the strings of the media and government. They are now literally seeking to re-write people's lives to suit their addled agenda.

Expand full comment

Yep, they rewrote Freddie's relationships just like how they rewrite the Stonewall Riots. And the media backs up the lies, because journalism is dead.

Frightening but true for sure. It was always flawed, but it's stone cold dead now.
