She deleted it and tweeted a complete non-apology. Many people like Laurie genuinely believe that they are speaking for a majority of like minded people and absolutely do not realise how quickly their friends/ followers will go silent when the shit truly hits the fan. You know about fair weather friends better than anyone Graham, but now you have hundreds perhaps even thousands of people like me who you’ve perhaps never met, perhaps never spoken to, silently standing and waiting by your side, who will be there when you need us to be.
Reasoned debate is hate speech now. This terrifies me.
