Kellie-Jay has to put up with nonsense like this from the 'Head Girls'.

Who are the ‘Head Girls?’ I’d gather that she gets some grief from some women for sporting the sex object look, but am unaware of whatever you’re referring to here.

There are certain academic type feminists that she alludes to from time to time in her videos. Basically pontificating about women's rights from their high horses while she gets her hands dirty on the front line. They don't like how she conducts herself. I don't have specific names though sorry. I tend to frequent other channels more regularly like Clive Simpson.

I think KJK and Julia Long are friendly, but yes, many white collar academic types wouldn’t like her style ‘cause she’s not from the royal lines, nor the pretending middle class. She’s definitely a hands-on, working class woman. I very much appreciate her being untoward about pedophiles. 🤣

Julia has been and is brilliant. It's all very arbitrary these distinctions between UK working and middle class. Lots of people claim things that don't stand up to scrutiny. I have known some incredibly middle class, frankly pampered and protected people who claim they are 'working class' as they're 'from The North' and sometimes 'originally' and start putting on a slightly stronger accent they vaguely remember from their visits back there from one of their million pound houses in a nice part of London. I can be mocked for being 'posh' then mocked for being 'common' and 'Northern' by those that have never left very wealthy parts of 'the South'. You have to laugh.

KJK lives in Wiltshire which has some very poor and then some very wealthy and 'upper' class parts cheek by jowl with centuries of inherited wealth. The way this lot sling mud is very common and follows some very familiar patterns. It's one-upmanship.

The sex object look? She looks nice and keeps herself in good condition, I've never seen her look anything other than well groomed and pretty.

Sex *icon* look. A Marilyn Monroe look, such as porn culture prefers.

I've never thought she looked remotely like Marilyn Monroe, or a pornography prostitute. She's just attractive and always looks nice. Unless there are images of her I have never seen.

It’s probably not visible to you, as it’s considered normal. Hair dye/bleach, bright red lipstick, and nail lacquer are commercially available products, and not usually used by ‘Head Girls,’ or feminist academics, anyway.

Normal women DO bleach their hair and wear make up. I don't, well rarely anymore. I am perfectly well aware of women who look prostituted. She doesn't. She appeals to the majority, that's the reality. And she doesn't say she's a feminist, so why should she care about their demands?

Obviously, women are coerced into this sort of grooming. However, in the world we currently inhabit her behaviour is absolutely normal. She does not go over and above normal grooming for a woman of her age.

Anyone genuinely claiming she looks like a prostituted woman is experiencing some serious internal misogyny.

They absolutely are worn by Head Girls in the UK. And feminist academics are like other academics or 'public academics' who can assert themselves as experts in whatever they like then shit on everyone else. It's just being bitchy and the making themselves superior, that's the aspect that appeals to them, no matter if they have skills or abilities. I have been told I am 'bookish' and 'serious' by wearing glasses, then transformed myself, with a slow-motion shake of my bouncing, curling tresses with one shake of my head into a sex kitten who can't string a sentence together. Short hair, long hair, no hair, make up or no make up is silly. Like those who think putting heels and a skirt on makes you a woman.

They've been mentioned in a few threads here but I'm loathe to repeat their names. I'm not meaning to be obtuse but to not enflame. Find the piece on this Substack with KJK's Brighton event this year and see the comments. She was accused of cosying up to the UK far right by left wing feminists. That leaves many left wing feminists scratching their heads. It was hard for me to work out. Some called her poundshop and said things about her on Twitter which came across as bitchy, snobby, classist and so the Head Girl moniker was apt. It was pile ons then pile ons. If they'd had valid points to make and ways to criticise her I'd like to hear them, but it seemed to be empty jealousy that some intellectuals and self-appointed rights activists are fond of. Then lots saying you're too thick to understand etc. Well go on then, try me!

Yes, when I was on twitter, before being booted off permanently last week, I got blocked by quite of few of them for criticising their bitchiness. Also blocked by the uber woke 'feminists' on the TRA side. So ridiculous 😂😂

I'm in the States too ("••fellow•• American ")... and i've also lived abroad, which is why I knew right away what the misunderstanding was ahah.

The previous two responders—like most Brits/Canadians/citizens of most other ex-commonwealth countries—are just taking for granted that the position is a thing and that the whole Anglosphere understands it. but #noooope! 🤩

Valedictorian is just the kid with the highest GPA at the end of 4 years, right?

Ironically it's this that i don't know for sure, since i didn't go to a traditional high school—I graduated from a community day school for (literal) delinquents 🤷🏾‍♀️

If anything, head boy/Girl is probably closer to the student body president in an American high school, in terms of actual job description. Unlike student body officers, though, head boy/Girl are appointees... like basically they're the headteacher's/headmaster's (US: principal's) Cabinet secretaries, more or less.

Yes, valedictorian is highest GPA when graduating, as I understand it. I was recommended for Gifted & Talented Education or home schooling in sixth grade, but birth mother was Pentecostal and caught up in the Satanic Panic, so after seventh grade when she placed me in a group home run by a fraternal organization her mother was a member of, they basically made me repeat seventh grade in eighth (due to curriculum at new district) by placing me in public school when they had an on-ground school I could’ve attended. So, because the legislature of California has lifted the statue of limitations, I’m preparing to sue them. It’s interesting to see what they’re going to say now, since they kept telling me that I was there because I “didn’t want to go to school.” I have vocational testing that indicates my I.Q. score is in the top fifth percentile (?) of the population, so even though the “home” destroyed the complete record they were sent, I obtained the residual record that shows “Unsatisfactory” attendance since third grade, when I started at that school! I’m confident that I can successfully sue them with what is contained in their own records, which I obtained decades ago. Mandated reporting laws were put on the books here in 1980, so these people were flagrantly committing felonies by holding me there starting in 1984 and refusing to report the felonies birth mother was committing, as witnessed by my two living elder sisters. I should appear well defending myself in court, as I am only 4’11”, the smallest in my family, probably caused by the stress they put me under. Didn’t mean to be too wordy here, but schooling is on my mind, and I have to come up with a first draft of my civil complaint today. I wouldn’t want to be one of those “Head Girls/Boys” for sure! I’m not kidding when I say that I’m glad I missed high school, because of all that social drama. Hope you have a great day! ☮️❤️🐾

I can’t figure out why he and Katie Herzog adopt an air of superiority when discussing this issue. What makes them such snobs? It’s so off putting. They seem to be jeering at GL and I don’t get it. How are they more reasonable persons, in their minds? They obviously agree with GL on most points, why the snark? Is it just irritating tone policing from them? And when did we all decide “groomer” is out-of-bounds anyway? It’s never been a homophonic term from me! It’s an apt word for a devious type of manipulation.

Don't allow the Wokes and TQ+ to convince you it's homophobic. That's just using the LGB to shut people up so the ideology can continue to flourish. If anything it's homophobic to say it's homophobic.

The only people who find the term groomer problematic are groomers.

At this point anybody at all who supports gender idealogy is a homophobe who supports child mutilation and paedophilia and are groomers or groomer supporters.

I don't know their history, perhaps they're shitting themselves because they were groomers too at one point and want to distance themselves from their hateful behaviour. If they correctly call other people groomers, are they worried they'll also have their grooming pointed out to them?

Jesse Singal is a Johnny-Come-Lately and we all know it. An apologist, a knee-jerk liberal. I'm from college town Madison, Wisconsin. I know his type very well.

Poor ol' Jesse (and he's a RIGHT one)...

If only he worked in an industry where proper, thorough research is paramount, and where resourceful, determined people worked: people with a natural gift for critical-thinking; a capacity for impartiality; and the fortune to have unlimited technological resources and very flexible financial budgets available, at their fingertips.

He could find out the facts for himself. But he's riddled with fear, and addled by insecurities.

This explains a lot. The guy who ran trust and safety (into the ground) argues in his PhD to remove safeguarding for children.

Yoel Roth regarding children in his PHd https://twitter.com/emeriticus/status/1602106891185917952

And Yoel Roth again chatting about anal sex, children and boys in several tweets.

Why do so many of these men have sweaty, sticky, creepy PhDs in fucked up topics?

Oof those are following the usual methods aren't they. Use the term 'loci' and any educational establishment will now give you a PhD. This is merely iterative bullshit bingo with a nice certificate, hat with a tassel, gown and a job with equally empty minds. I wonder if every 'gender studies' department has teams of lowly PhD researchers working through scraping every paedophile adjacent dissertation and paper they can find so their 'brand' isn't diminished.

Daniel M. Lavery

Graham Linehan repeated his old “grooming” libel against Grace today, this time on Substack. We’ve reported this to Hamish at Substack, who’s discussing this with his legal team; update as soon as we have it.

It would be great if Mr Lavery decided to try to fight the imaginary libel his brain has invented. There is SO much evidence against him.

Dragging it through court would have the same outcome as Mermaids attempts to harm lesbians, gay and bisexual people. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Herzog and Singal do not have children. I guarantee you. As the ex-wife of a 24/7 cross-dresser, now COO of his database management company, serving world-class museums, with a "pronouns" page on their website, I promise you, H & S are apologists who know nothing. They assume that "true transsexuals" do years of therapy, have been "this way since birth." No. It is psychiatric illness, from childhood sexual/physical abuse (and nowadays, online abuse by pornography, yes, the internet can abuse watchers, esp young ones) as verified by Dr. Stephen B. Levine, expert testimony, psychiatrist who used to "affirm" but changed his mind when too many detransitioned. Like 30 years later.

Last year I listened to the BBC documentary “The Coming Storm” which explored how all the conspiracy theories surrounding Qanon started which culminated in the storming of the White House. When new episodes started to drop this year I was keen to listen to more. However I was surprised when one episode started to talk about the term “OK Groomer” which it reported is the new buzz amongst US conspiracy theorists and has particularly grabbed middle class mothers who previously got sucked in by the notion of a secret kabal of paedophiles running the country. Perhaps you laying claim to the term has given JS what he thinks is a “gotcha moment”?

I did too, was also surprised and I highlighted this and that episode with Graham a while back. It was clear for some reason that the BBC are directly linking mothers and parents concerned about this to the 'far right wing' and 'conspiracy theorists'. The BBC are playing a very silly game here and losing remaining credibility. They are taking bits of one thing and conflating them with bits of other hints and suggestions.

News is full of the German raids and that conspiracy theory underpinning, and the cause is social media conspiracists fuelling it. I'm sure that's the fault of bigoted UK TERF types too. FFS.

You’re right, I expected there to be more on the theme in the episode which followed it but it wasn’t mentioned. Like you said, it felt like it was just cherry picked to make up a patchwork of slavering conspiracy theorists, infiltrated and funded by the Far Right. Very disappointing and narrow coverage of something which justifies an entire documentary series of its own, which would be absolutely riveting!!

Expand full comment

I'm so glad you heard it. I had actually thought maybe I'd imagined it as it was so clunky and out of place so it's intriguing that they didn't mention it in the next one. I didn't listen further as it lost credibility for me. Yes it would be riveting, I'd listen to that if they did. I think it's 'returning' next year (or was it in time for the next US elections).

I'm still wondering what the follow up to the Stephen Nolan investigations is. It was a well-crafted insight into how you go about asking questions and what happens when you do and don't get fobbed off easily. It seems to have landed, been lauded, then nothing (at least from the BBC).
