Marion Millar’s hearing has been rescheduled again. Whether the delay is designed to subject her to more stress or stymie the inevitable protests, we do not know. The little girl not wheesthing in the photo above is her daughter, Caoimhe, who faces two years of not seeing her mother because a Stonewall-influenced police force thinks women saying no to men is hate speech.
A similar situation is playing out at Edinburgh Rape Crisis, where the howls of outrage and dismay from women is being recast as bigotry and abuse by the breathtakingly dishonest Mhairi Hunter, a councillor and associate of Nicola Sturgeon.
This is, of course, a blatant lie, and the women in the thread are all worth reading
Hunter responds to none of them, yet bestows no fewer than three replies upon James Scobbie. She evidently suffers a kind of ‘woman blindness’ that affects certain members of the gender Stasi, where they only see Twtter replies from men. Meanwhile, the rest of Scotland is waking up to the fact that as far as Nicola Sturgeon is concerned, this horror film come to life is a done deal.
A 70 page document, drawn up by LGBT advocacy groups including Stonewall, has been issued to Scottish schools by the Scottish government, which advises teachers to affirm their pupils’ gender identities, even if they don’t have their parents’ consent or knowledge.
That needs repeating.
A 70-page document, drawn up by LGBT advocacy groups including Stonewall, has been issued to Scottish schools by the Scottish government, which advises teachers to affirm their pupils’ gender identities, even if they don’t have their parents’ consent or knowledge.
If a little boy says he’s a girl, the teachers have been told to immediately use she/her pronouns, and ask the FOUR-YEAR-OLD to decide whether his parents should be informed.
Teachers are also advised to develop transgender characters in classes, and a reading list is recommended that includes a book that says a child can have a ‘girl brain but a boy body’ (something that is at odds with UK government guidance) and that it was ‘amazing’ when a doctor diagnosed a child as transgender.
The guidance also states that, even though studies have shown that the vast majority of ‘trans children’ grow out of this mindset via puberty, teachers are urged not to say "it’s just a phase" if a child states they are transgender and to instead “be affirming”.
Marion Calder, of For Women Scotland, sums up the gender-critical position on these matters. “It used to be commonly understood that children should be able to play and experiment with gender roles, with clothing, their likes and dislikes. Those children are now being encouraged on to a medical pathway, potentially for the rest of their lives. We should not be teaching children, and especially primary school children, that you can change sex, because you cannot change sex.”
This comes after it emerged that dozens of parents in Scotland have been reported to their council's social services department by their child's school - because they did not 'support' their child in their belief that they were transgender.
And the largest teachers' union in Scotland 'celebrated Pride' by running a play about Jesus being trans.
But this lunacy trickles from the top down. Nicola Sturgeon’s government seems to have been completely ideologically captured.
Scotland's government pledged to consult with Stonewall on gender laws after Stonewall offered a 10 per cent boost on its diversity ranking in return. Stonewall was also given screenshots of ministers' social media activity as proof of a commitment to “equality”.
This might be why Scotland’s hate crime bill says holding the view that a man who says he’s a woman is not a woman is illegal if it is accompanied by vaguely defined ‘aggressive campaigning’.
Meanwhile, the Scottish civil service introduced a 'pronoun pledge initiative', even though nearly two-thirds of Scotland's civil servants stated they will never add pronouns to their email signatures.
Scottish women are frozen out of the conversation to such an extent that they have to rely on old school feminist tradecraft to get the word out, but even then, the witchfinders are always on patrol.
So, Scotland finds itself in a perilous place, with two incompatible visions of the future facing off.
On one side, Marion Millar, Joanna Cherry, and millions of women who will never accept an incoherent, dangerous ideology that places them and their children at risk.
On the other, Nicola Sturgeon, Mhairi Hunter, and all the other easily-led suckers spouting fashionable nonsense that they themselves don’t understand. Incurious members of a cult which will turn Scotland into a paradise for groomers and grifters.
Marion Millar stands defiantly and stubbornly against that vision of Scotland’s future, and that’s why we stand with Marion Millar.
(Coming soon: Woke Ireland’s attempt to suppress the voice of an abuse victim.)
Fecking mhairi hunter Nicolas bag for life is quite delusional they all are. And the guidance for schools is child abuse in plain sight, the advice for binders is just sickening. Shame on them all but if they think we Scottish women will wheesht they are in for a fright because we will never be silenced. Scotland is no longer a place I recognise and Nicola Sturgeon is to blame to think I once admired she/her. Marion is doing ok we went for a wee coffee. It really is disgusting what is happening to her but she will rise because they have no idea how strong this woman is. And she has an army behind her and the Scottish Witches.
We frogs dozed off for a moment in that pan of water and when we opened our eyes again, we saw the water was boiling. Can't believe what has transpired in this septic isle while we were busy worrying about the phoney 'war on terror', the banks, the putative warming of the earth and, most recently, Covid. Who would have thought that affirming the biological facticity of sex was tantamount to hate speech? Who would have imagined that asserting that a man with a penis can in no way be construed as a woman would be seen as an act of wanton bigotry? I have become like the White Queen in Alice's land of wonders, believing in at least six impossible things before breakfast. And my head well and truly hurts.
