Oh JL. Thank you. This is a corker! A second theft, why surely not. This looks like a teensy tiny bit of a pattern now, even a waveform pattern of stealing and breaking boundaries...then stealing and breaking boundaries...then...and all in plain view with everyone being told to look the other way and cancelled for raising eyebrows. Ripley's Believe It or Not! It's hard to credit it's happening and been allowed to unfold as it has.

A while back this all reminded me of men stealing our underwear from washing lines or communal washing facilities, making dirty phone calls (heavy breathing, threats, filthy language or the silent ones). All that pent up frustration, vitriol, force, control and coercion. The weird sense of being followed, stared at or then harassed in the street. You know, we all know. Boundary breaking. Often accepted as 'just part of life'. They're all still at, down through the generations but this lot have been lauded and applauded.

A second theft that we know of, probably. Most likely has been going on for some time.

If you have a problem with phone calls, buy a loud whistle and use it. Very effective.

Thanks Susan, that particular thing has not been a problem for me for a fair few decades now and with modern mobile numbers it doesn't seem to happen any longer. It's much easier to block and divert unwanted calls. It's the style of harassment that seems to have changed, and their platforms, not their motivations or ability to do it. Like water, they find a way. Men have this whole online world to harass, pillory and track us through now.

I'm keen that we download the monitor that alerts us to unknown tracking (devices) nearby - I guess that's the modern version of a whistle or horn by the phone. You know, those small (often coin sized) devices (Apple etc) that some bright spark marketed that can be hidden in our cars, dropped in our coat pockets, our bags...or the tracking devices that are our mobile phones themselves :-(

We don't have to be, that's what's so chilling. Read accounts of women who've usually known 'something' was up, felt they were going mad, then realised or discovered the extent of the surveillance. Track your own luggage ladies, track your luggage! ;-)

In the days before everyone did it for everything, I could always tell when and which sites men had looked at when they'd been googling me and it was all so bloody obvious it was sometimes hard to keep a straight face. Oh but you mentioned X or Y, and that time you were in Rome. Erm no, no I didn't (oh but that's the fourth entry down for one of my digital twins). They also thought I enjoyed hobbies as they'd read about 'me' so I could even tell which search terms they'd used and from when. Spooky huh.

As a Biological Psychologist, I think there's something very disturbing about this. I'm concerned about what this is doing to women and girls, and gay people who are not among the outlandish. Again, as a psychologist, I'm pretty convinced that this is not about being trans as much as it is about normalizing ostentatious, intrusive, and bad behavior. Interestingly, a lot of heterosexual people are into "kink". However, you will notice that they don't display it in public, or expose children to it. That's really the difference.

Pushing the boundaries seems to be their vicious and vile way of forcing females to kow tow to them. I really do not think that most even believe they are women (I don't mean the sex offenders who decide to 'trans' so that they can have an easier time in the female prison estate and perv on females at the same time) but pretend to do so in order to play out a hate fest against females. There has to be a deep resentment, hatred even, of all women and girls, and it is scary in its intensity and for the fact that it has become mainstream. Control is often their watchword, although they seldom see it like that. I am often shocked at the comments of some men when a journalist has written something about women's lives. They always revert to: yes, but what about us as if they are raped, beaten, forced into a gender stereotype that curtails and stultifies their lives. These comments are very often patronising and vicious, too. At my age now, I am just starting to get a grip on how much some men - not all, by any means - resent and hate us for being what we were born to be - women. What is it they think we have that they are denied? Is it that they want to control and humiliate us to the point where we are mere slaves, especially sex slaves and second rate humans? I really don't get their reasoning. Does your average man-in-the-street understand how crushing that is for us, to be viewed as something put on this Earth for man's pleasure, man's control and punch-bag?

One or two of these men in positions of power provides a facilitator for others. The slow eradication of women from positions of power, sport, everyday life has begun. We desperately need to help of decent men. It's time to acknowledge we can't do this alone. We need men to speak out in numbers.

This is what is called succesor ideology: A reasonable view is made unreasonable, taken too far, taken to the extreme. It makes the person thinking these things feel like a liberator, a destroyer of oppression. I am fond of reusing and recycling but this is all part of their boundary breaking fetish. Once you've been invaded it's often very hard to view things or places or people in the same light. I know people who've moved houses and even totally out of towns and countries to leave some awful experiences behind. Some who've had to for their physical safety and sanity. Trust is broken and all those who allowed, promoted and protected this silly and nasty man are culpable.

Entirely likely. So, what was the purpose of you stealing those cases Sam? How likely is he to be telling the complete truth now. He is a fantasist and likes to break boundaries. He also believes himself to be fighting some superior cause for something and his own privilege. Not a great combination, and this is the thing about boundary breakers, where is the line for what they deem is acceptable when that's the whole point, they get off on the thrill of knowing they break them and others knowing they break them. He sees his sexual kinks as some kind of civil rights movement which Stonewall and others have strangely mixed up with gay rights and TQ. Pride in wearing women's knickers, who cares if the woman who owns them is unaware you stole them. A spritz of her perfume, looking through her personal belongings. It was nasty TERFs that left him with no other option because of our bigotry. We women are here to serve their needs and it's all about them.

What would he do if there were no consequences for anything, which really seems how many of these men think and then they are allowed to, despite those ones who are caught and end up in prison. They then continue their 'fight' for 'freedom' to be their 'true selves'.

Expand full comment

When he got caught, he hadn't even checked luggage. You'd think someone doing something that risky would cover themselves by having "Oh I picked the wrong bag up" as an excuse if necessary.

He was very confident he wouldn't need the excuse and I'd bet good money it was because he'd stolen bags many, many times before, this was just the first time he's been caught. Or the first time he was caught and it wasn't brushed under the rug by his employer.

Expand full comment

Of course he was. This man and his ilk live in cognitive dissonance land and there's always a justification and excuse ready for everything. It must be very strange to push and push and push, have literally no barriers, no challenge, your path eased, then get encouraged and promoted further than your wildest dreams, passing security clearance after clearance, managing to be invited in to 'educate' students and then held up in front of the whole nation and world as the best possible version of a citizen who represents the best of the best. How would he know when to stop? Who would tell him? Who would he listen to? He's been doing what he likes for a while and being beatifically smiled at and indulged. Anyone not in total agreement has been pilloried. Now he's crashing. I suspect with many soft landings prepared. It's very odd, like they were grooming him to be the 'poster they' of whatever Queer Theory identifies as this week within the administration itself. Grooming is wearing down your boundaries and sometimes playing a very long game. The past seven years every media outlet, charity, 'project', sleb narcissist and government department promoting this man has been doing exactly that to the public.

Listening to someone discussing the current range of arrests and executions in Iran it did take a few minutes for me to realise the extent of what is covered in the crime of 'Enmity against God'. If you are a state body, that see yourself as simply and literally acting in the pure role of serving, delivering for and on behalf of God, then anyone disagreeing with you is therefore directly going against God, so therefore it's enmity and therefore you must be sentenced to death. That's it, that's the interpretation, no debate as debate is enmity.

That's the same streak of what's been happening in the West with a different theocratic flavour and punishment but with just as much logic deployed. Transsharia law.

I think it may be a reference to a reference I made (!) elsewhere in this thread about the erm things that Jacob Breslow, the LSE 'academic' wrote about and how he compared objects like shoes to children and 'cumming' over or near (?) them. It was clear objectification and very disturbing sexual objectification for his sexual gratification. Men often take the personal possessions of others as part of fetishes or imbue them with special significance, as trophies or mementos. Referring to children as objects in the same category and without personhood, integrity or self is hugely disturbing. Jacob is the one who Mermaids and Penis (Pink) News then suddenly realised they shouldn't be connected to. Then who never existed in a 'Jacob who?' way. So that was what I was linking to Sam Brinton and what he may have been up to. All boundaries broken and all the time is the trans mantra. Oooh a woman's suitcase, image what delights for a pervert to 'find' as in steal. Ooh look another one. Ooh look...

So shoes is a bit of a shorthand now for their fetishistic inner lives that are now outer lives and affecting us all. But I may be wrong and it was a reference to another nuanced layer!

So often, after a woman has been hideously murdered, you find out that the man responsible was known to the police for numerous other offences. Their fetishes are often denied by them so that they express great anger when they are pointed out to them. Yet, this is what the Scottish government wants to open up all female spaces and rights to. Why should females be subjected to fetishes at all?

Expand full comment

In the UK Wayne Couzens, the police officer, who murdered Sarah Everard was known to the police but nothing was done, for many incidents and areas. His behaviours escalated and different reports were made and nothing happened. It was forgotten, 'overlooked', 'missed' and not 'connected up enough' or soon enough to save her life.

It is distressing to then retrospectively have these looked at, properly recorded, investigated and 'come to light' when they were glaringly obvious for years and he moved areas and responsibilities without anyone checking or following up. He could have been stopped right up until weeks and hours before. Procedures having supposedly changed to prevent this.

These men are often in plain view and this one Sam Brinton was being held up as some kind of idol of tolerance and inclusivity, whatever those words have been corrupted to mean.

Expand full comment

Indeed, Elizabeth. Very, very few gender/body dysphoric.

Expand full comment

Are "fetishists" "AGPs" "gender dysphoric" mutually incompatible? Honest question.

Expand full comment

To be honest, Una-Jane, even the gender dysphoric ones are often autogynephiles, too. I don't think they are mutually incompatible, and I think also, that we have to accept that there a various different strands to this movement. The one thing they all appear to have in common apart from a tiny minority (and they have still encroached on female boundaries) is their antipathy towards women.

Many people in the street just don't get it: they think we are being cruel and unheeding. However, most women and girls who are on this side have arrived here after having gone through all the 'just be kind' nonsense, and they see that these 'trans' people are taking the michael, using our innate sense of wishing to be decent and using it against us to push their perverse and queer agenda.

They mean, I promise you, to strip us all of our every right, space, job, career, etc., and please do not be fooled into believing that they are a tiny minority. Once self-ID comes in as a legal tool, we will see the numbers burgeon. They have been hiding in plain sight and, now, they are emboldened to strike out at females. Please do not be fooled either into thinking that they present as female because they love women. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many of them hate, detest and loathe us.

They find our bodily functions disgusting, but crave them for sexual thrills. Their activists, the skinny wee laddies in black, also hate females, but are more of the men's rights persuasion. If they could, they would replace us with themselves as better women than we could ever be. I can't explain it as I am not male and, frankly, could never hope to understand what goes in in a male's head, any more than they know what goes on in ours, despite their insane claims.

I think that all these things should be treated like trying to starve oneself to death, cutting, being convinced a limb is not yours, etc. - as a mental health issue, best treated with counselling, especially where children are concerned. What they are most definitely not are women's problems to bear or clear up. It is time for men to take on board that we are not on this Earth to be the world's cleaners, and they must take responsibility for what are a subset of men - men they shy away from for not being 'masculine' in the stereotypical sense, or we will never see the end of this.

Many men appear to be at the mercy of their sex drive, forever boosted to intolerable levels by easy-access hardcore porn, and women cannot and will not put up with what is harming us as a result of their unreal expectations. This is an issue of safety, primarily, but also dignity and privacy and the right to decide our sexual partners without coercion. This is going to become so bad, and I do believe that women are going to find a new unity of purpose apart from men, and the men will have only themselves to blame.

Expand full comment

Men do not have enough to do, and you can be damn sure Sam Brinton has nothing to do other than talk about kink and indulge in it.
