Hi, ‘Grace’! Just a response to your most recent Twitter post about me. I never called you a paedophile. I said “Grooming” in response to you complaining about how difficult it is to teach queer theory on Zoom because of parents listening in. Also: you abuse your girlfriend and post photos of the abuse online, so I don’t really place any value on what you think is and isn’t bigotry.
The fact that Laurie Penny listens to you before she listens to the voices of women like Helen Steel and Linda Bellos is comment enough on her brand of Vichy Feminism. But there is the wider issue of people like her who think they can say anything they like about ideological opponents. Penny’s two tweets and her Substack piece are now in the hands of my solicitors. A real apology will still be accepted at this point.
Consider doing a fundraiser for this case. A lot of people will want to show support.
Graham, if you litigate, I'll contribute, but I suspect there is a deliberate effort to use up your energy and resources on things that, in the end, don't really matter. Anyone following these AGPs and handmaidens have already formed their opinions, and anyone who hasn't just has to read your work or watch your Mess on YouTube to know the truth. Those fuckers know you care passionately about this fight, they know you will stand your ground, and they want to get you fighting on too many fronts.
