I complained about this BBC article and will raise it with Ofcom if nothing is done.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-62010839

The article is about Eastenders introducing a 'drag queen' character - yes, seriously. My complaint is that they interviewed "Lucas Young, a drag queen by the name of Ms Classpergers" for the article.

People with neurodivergent conditions suffer enough stigma without a drag queen with such an offenive name getting centred by the BBC.

Men mocking women in stereotypically sexualised and pornified ways is now a core part of the BBC's mission. They're just being a bit more 'open' about this 'artform'. It's not 'fun'.

I haven't watched Eastenders for years. I stopped my licence and using any of their live broadcast services or iPlayer because of this shit.

I was watching an episode of BBC TV's 'Gardeners World' recently and one of the young presenters told us he was training to be a drag queen. Ffs. Is nowhere safe any longer?

Training? Training? It's beyond satire isn't it. I bet there will be bursaries introduced to encourage 'access' for PhDs in this and new 'Drag training academies' will be created in all local authorities. They can share the office space at the food banks. Maybe sixth forms will have 'misogynistic excellence in drag' as their special educational skill status. I bet Gove is reading a special report on it as I type.

Tbf I'm not sure of the exact word he used but it was along those lines. There was a college in London a few years ago doing a course on BDSM , so why not DQ?

The pointless of no use to humanity fetish market has run riot. Let's hope it wasn't 'studying' drag. What night classes were invented for. Not that they exist any longer.

Especially since the word Asperger's is associated with the Nazis, though maybe that's the point?

Yes, it is no longer used for diagnostic purposes, although people do genuinely identify as "aspies".

Thank you. I have complained to BBC. I will complain next to Charity Commission!

Done the Charity Commission too.

Thanks Graham, I will. It WAS funny though 😂. At least in their failure to see the funny side we didn’t/couldn’t get the ‘how could you, during Pride month!

The holy month of pride!

Does the transactivist genuflect involve flicking your invisible lurid wig from either shoulder then a tweak of where your nipples used to be, and then fumbling for what used to be where your crotch is? I wouldn't want to be getting it wrong now and chucked out of church.

They're like tics aren't they. I thought it was picking his shorts from his arse crack? I miss the days they used to mainline bananas like crack.

Ohhhh, it's gone now, lemme see!!! I could do with a good laugh! xxx

Can we download it or something before it gets taken away ? It's the best laugh I've had in ages.

I saved a PDF the moment I saw it. I was laughing too much to appreciate the different ways some approached it - some with much more nuance in their gentle and not so gentle poking fun. It was right to be mocked. Classic illustration of supposed 'digital' democracy and how to feed a few unhinged people up into a frothing spin in the name of 'rights'. Quick get an e-petition! That'll learn em and make the LGB Alliance cower. The same nasty, authoritarians at the 'Feminist Library' are those that targeted the funding before - so to use their previous attacks as justification for their further unhinged attacks is weak.

Not in my feckin name you 'feminist' nutcases.

Oh good thinking. Maybe you could sell copies in aid of LGB Alliance

It'd be a nice sampler. Or wall hanging. Anyone know of any talented seamstresses, tailors and great embroidery stitch witches who could transform this?

What absolute liars these people are. As everybody knows ,almost ALL the hatred and threats are coming from their side. The LGBA was set up to protect the rights and safety of LGB people after Stonewall et alia abandoned them in favour of " trans " ,and became openly homophobic !! I'm not gay but I fully support the LGBA against these hate groups and this abhorrent ideology. Just donated.👍♥️

Look at who launches online attacks. It's not the 'most marginalised'. And look at who can't even access the online world and who is skewing all this for their own purposes. For 'library' read 'bookshop'. Even that's a stretch for the hobbyhorsers.

I just received the following brush off from the Charity Commission:

"On this occasion, having assessed the information you have sent to us, we will not be contacting the charity regarding the issues raised. In our opinion, the information provided does not demonstrate misconduct by the charity’s trustees or suggest that they are not acting in the charity’s best interests to an extent or severity that would justify intervention from the Commission.

We will, however, ensure that your concerns remain on the charity’s record and will inform future decisions should further information be received. If new information emerges please follow the guidance on Raising Concerns on our website."

No rebuke. Nothing. Only stealing all the money from a charity will result in closing it down! Depressing that we taxpayers pay the Charity Commission to do NOTHING,
