I fucking detest these people. The best thing you can say about them is that they're driven by a cult-like mentality, but I still loathe them for their utter stupidity and criminal irresponsibility in encouraging impressionable teenagers to mutilate themselves (and all teenagers are impressionable - literally - their brains haven't fully formed yet).
The majority of these young girls are going to have desperate, lifelong regret, and these ****s who encouraged them will have moved on to the next fashionable cause.

My mum got breast cancer three times in her 40s and 50s, it killed her soon after she reached 60. after one of her surgeries and a consultation, I walked into the room upon invitation by the doctor before my mum had had the chance to cover her scarring. This upset us both but I tried to pretend I was unphased, and not traumatised, by what my sweet brave stoic little mum was going through. her breasts represented her femininity, her ability to breastfeed and give nourishment to her children if she was able or wanted to, her oppression, her vulnerability, but no longer healthy she had no other choice.
My heart weeps and weeps to see these sweet young vulnerable girls looking on in shock or in mock pleasure for the publicity camera shots. Traumatised and needing comfort before this operation while ridiculous, even abusive and evil adults look on grinning.
When will this be called out for the true heinous abuse that it is? Please please be soon, but that won’t be soon enough.

I'd also raise the question of how this sits with the ASA's upcoming ban on advertising or promoting (yes, that includes influencers) any cosmetic procedures to under 18s.

Just after WWII, my family lived in a volatile part of Europe where the conflicts continued between warring factions. Women always seemed to suffer horribly and the ultimate act of mysogony was performed which was to slice off their breasts after being raped.

This is not about sports and toilets. It is an all-out war on women by male "rights" activists. They use words, fear, and the latent hatred of women in many men and women to disappear women and destroy women's rights to safety, privacy and dignity. They have captured the civil service, the judiciary and the political establishment, not to mention multiple businesses and institutions. Those women who have done well a the system designed for men (eg. Sturgeon, Ardern) are used to give them cover, as are their words. For example

"Inclusion" meaning destruction of women's boundaries
"LGBT+ group" meaning misogyny unit
"share your pronouns" meaning prove your loyalty
"gender based" meaning female-denying
"marginalised" meaning highly privileged and well-connected
Lets start using words to mean something real. Expose their language and you have disarmed them. But beware: they will try to do it to you first, because that is their modus operandi.
