I can't help comparing these cases with Salem witch hunts. All someone has to do is accuse a woman of being transphobic. No need for rational thought or even common sense. Losing a job is bad enough but thank goodness we don't live in an age where we burn or hang transphobes. One day, all these gender ideology captured organisations are going to have to apologise for their actions while we will commemorate those that thought back.

Is that a typo? Thought back! It is reason itself being assaulted, and standing firm upon its foundation is what it will take to win this. Thanks for the laugh today!

yes it is a typo.

A welcome one. Hoping to use it!

Our weapon is THINKING. We thought back against unthinking conformity, against authoritarian RightThink.

It works both ways, is what I was trying to say. The main way to fight nonthink is with reasoned thought. That’s the fight in a nutshell! “We thought back against nonthink!”

How much longer are we going to put up with this?

Either until the recognition of the extent to which children and teenagers are subjected to pseudoscientific mistreatment hits us like a tidal wave or until central social and health services become practically unworkable because the employees there have stopped thinking for themselves and abandonded all initiative because they are afraid of being accused of thought crimes.

There's no such thing as 'gender identity'.

Expand full comment

Of course there isn't. It's an esoteric concept backed up by one of the most unscientific and unethical experiments in recent medical history.

Yes, and it needs to be repeated again and again until it sticks.

Well, Rachael is hitting back here...

Yes, but it's like playing whack-a-mole. It needs to stop, once and for all.

Punishing another woman for not professing to the Creed of the Unicorn.

For a religion we are told does not exist, transideology certainly has a well functioning Inquisition.

Expand full comment

She's being punished for thought crime and all this stems from a supposedly professional body which is acting in a completely unprofessional manner. I hope she wins through.

Donated. This is a biggy.

Ditto, and ditto.

What I can’t understand is why holding the belief that others can’t change their sex even needs to be protected. It’s simple biology.

It has to be called 'belief' in order to be protected in law. Only beliefs are protected. I know...

I've donated to this ... and many others. I don't begrudge the money but I am sick of having to pay for the courts to tell the fucking cowards in charge of our publicly funded bodies to show some backbone and tell the misguided young people and the fetishistic men pulling their strings to piss off.

Just makes me sick, it makes me also so disgusting and at the same time hopeless about what is done to women the world over, while there are idiots who worry about their transgender identity

Thought experiment. But if it’s found that regulating bodies have to respect GC beliefs, would that extend to Stonewall? And their ilk?
