I’m not one for the cheap laugh when a politician trips over a paving stone on the news. I’ve tripped too many times myself to think it betrays anything about the person other than our shared humanity. But when a politician says something as deeply stupid as Shona Robison did a few days ago, that’s when I think it’s not only fair but also incumbent upon us as responsible adults to get that dangerous person out of power as quickly as possible.
Here are a just a few examples of Predators Pretending To Be Something Else.
Charitable, harmless TV Presenter
Holy, special men who only think of our Lord Jesus Christ and would never do anything bad.
Policeman who thinks you may be breaching COVID restrictions
Wayne Couzens A harmless trans lady who just needs somewhere to live with an 11-year-old boy.
A man trying to help out the Gardai by persuading a woman to get into his car.
A homeless woman called Jessica who needed a safe place to stay in a female-only shelter.
A loving partner who really does know what’s best for his girlfriend.
A concerned citizen who tried to serve the public by ‘arresting’ a lone woman on a car park.
Another concerned citizen (in a high-vis jacket) trying to keep the public safe from a 14-year-old schoolgirl.
A lady on a dating app, just looking for love with no attention of lulling potential victims into a false sense of security by pretending to be female.
A cab driver who just wanted to offer a young woman a lift
A schoolgirl (with a beard) called Emily making friends with other children on Snapchat.
Yet another concerned citizen trying to assist police in their duties by using a flashing blue light to pull over female motorists.
A teenager swapping naked pictures with friends online.
A man in a long wig practising photography in the women’s toilet.
Shona Robison should resign for saying such a deeply stupid thing. She is a reckless idiot putting women in danger.

I had an electioneering visit from
my MP who is SNP Chris Stephens today. I let him have this whole shitshow with both barrels. His summary of the problem “there has been name calling on both sides”. Dear God as if this is all about a mild difference of opinion. I think by the time he left he was under no illusions it was a bit more than that. Has the SNP no brains at all apart from Joanna Cherry?
