I just saw this from one of my subscribers. News from today: there’s going to be a *second* Blocked and Reported episode all about Graham! Apparently, they’ll correct some mistakes. But also they seemed to double down on the anti-Graham stance by describing this as an example of horseshoe theory. We’ll see what they say in the next episode...

One of the most disillusioning things about this is watching and realizing a) how unbelievably, inexplicably misogynist some males, both gay and straight are, and b) how weak, spineless, and pathetic so many of the "liberal" (non?) feminists are. These folks are just tragically low character. On the other hand, seeing people like you and so many of the folks you have on your podcast step forward like beacons of light makes it worth it. I wouldn't have otherwise known how many fine, brave, truly moral individuals there are in the world, willing to accrue personal losses to fight for the truth, if not for the spineless, weak ones.

I have no idea who those folks are but Graham is a true hero in my eyes. And I'm in the US so I don't know much about all this overseas stuff but I do know Graham Linehan's name from his refusal to back down or roll over.
Challenor is the opening salvo in what is going to be an avalanche of predators doing themselves in all over the left... the left is going to end up with so much egg on it's face over this it's not funny. Of course in the US this probably cost the Senate in 2022 and thus, Congress, meaning zero legislation or appointments will move for two years til 2024 at which point the left will probably lose the presidency for 8 years. But who cares about the health care of 99% of the population when you can protect the feelings of half of a percent.
I just see them as petulant school bullies now. I’m questioning every BaRpod episode I’ve listened to. I don’t trust them. If they won’t grow up and actually talk to Graham instead of talking (shit) about him I’ll fail to garner even a glimmer of respect for them. The pathetic thing here is.....there’s SO MANY STORIES here to shine a light on. Graham is NOT the story.
Exactly! Why waste time nitpicking about Graham's work when you could be talking about Challenor and related issues. I did like them for a bit - listened to some of their podcasts - although did wince at the TERF jokes - and they do seem to dislike anyone over 35. So..
But yeah, why attack Graham in this way - unless they are a little ashamed so now want to double down?
I also know they have written fairly good pieces on important topics - but I also know from their podcast that they both think unisex bathrooms are fine. I used to feel that too until I realized there were a lot of women and children for whom it is a big problem (and that predator/voyeur men are a bigger worry than I had originally known) - so I think the needs of vulnerable women and children trump anyone else's need to 'be cool with it' or to save a bit of money (stores) - or make this gender trouble go away (schools).
Anyway - Graham is the one who gets my subscription money - he's been at it longer than the barpod people (in terms of life experience and time in the public eye) and obviously has a lovely heart - and is surrounded by really great collaborators and interview guests . Last week's trans day of visibility show on youtube really made me happy - so many great trans people who see the problems with the gender identity ideology and the silencing of women.
Good hearts will triumph in the end. And good company makes the journey so much more enjoyable. That's what I get from all of you.
There's definitely some kind of SJW cookie-cutter factory/institution producing these idiots. Like Owen Jones. Throw any sound logic their way that exposes their hypocrisy, cowardice, or inconsistency and they suddenly develop virtual hearing impairment and activate their itchy block-button finger.
I once saw some chickens gang up on another one of their group and peck it to death. This is exactly like that. They're cowards, bullies, and on their way out. The Leeds Spinners said it best with their fabulous banner - 'Wrong side of history my arse'. Time will vindicate all of us, just hold on to that truth Graham and everything else will fall into place.

It's just authoritarian personality. Pretty well established in the literature, but the Horseshoe Theory *is* a political tool. Left & Right are generally meaningless really as a political model, especially when Thought Reform etc are factors. It's just those who are malleable and compliant vs those who are not. If Americans are arguing about it in the mainstream, we can usually just assume that it benefits the US machine. Zoom out.
