Apologies for the tangential comment. I'm not sure how to DM via substack.

I just came across this tweet from 2015 - have you seen it?

God, these people. They want everything.

Expand full comment

Well, that's what patriarchy teaches men every day in every way. Not only to want everything, but to DEMAND everything and whine if they don't get it.

Expand full comment

We dont live under the Taliban ... they do it voluntarily and make money of it. Schools didnt teach this until now. Of course they will whine when they get found out.

Expand full comment

Yup - no boundaries permitted. No "consent" - these nasty horrid men just want full access to any women - but of course not each other!

It was hearing about the Cotton Ceiling workshops that first made me realise something ugly was going on.

This is so ridicularse ...... Wake UP anyone who allows these creeps anywhere near anyone - dont give em money and hope they go home and give reality, truth and respect a rethink.

Vicious, spiteful, nasty creeps. Did their mothers never teach them any manners? Allison is doing SO well, bless her.

I thought of this today listening to R4 Screenshot where they had an interview with a 'queer' film expert. She reframed everything from the past oooh nine decades into trans this, queer that.

Everything is transified, everything LGB is trans with just a few leaps and skips. So Judy Garland's death meant everyone 'queer' was all there in one location, so drag queens and trans led the Stonewall riots for everyone in 'queer' history to be thankful for. It's just all drag and trans. Utter rewriting. I was fuming. And it went utterly unchallenged. Doris Day - queer. Rock Hudson - queer. Everyone - queer.

And we're pumping out that reframing propaganda, thank you BBC. No wonder any lesbian under 25 or 30 has been convinced that any man who wants to have sex with them must be allowed to do that. We're all queer now! :-(

Yes! Everything - every blimmin thing - is transified! Very well put, thank you.

I just wrote the following (low down in another thread that nobody will read). I thought I’d pop it again here to illustrate your point that this ideology is infiltrating EVERYTHING, even in some show that’s set in the 50s/60s (and that you’re using to just try to escape into for half a bloody hour). This is not the first time this has happened:

“OK. ENOUGH already. I’m at home on me tod watching Mrs Maisel s4 for a bit of light escapism (which so far is a lot better than S2 or S3 btw) and there’s a character called L Roy Dunham, who’s supposedly (surprisingly, hello!) a WOMAN(!), and (apparently) appears that way to our titular character, Mrs Maisel.

Only … I’m sitting there, shouting at the screen, “Oh no. OH NO mate! You’re not a frikkin’ woman. No fucking way!” I’m sure of it. And I don’t explicitly know why.

Even though all the obvious signals are directed towards us (the audience) feeling like this guy is a “Real Fucking Woman” (to quote the inimitably awful India Willoughby), this is obviously a fake “woman”.

Sorry casting: Not cutting it. (Y’know, those millions of years of evolution ain’t that easily faked!) It’s knowable immediately: it’s clearly a BLOKE.

We all know it.

Everyone out there with the BE NICE glasses on. Stop pretending. STOP PRETENDING! We’re not kids anymore. The Tooth Fairy doesn’t exist. Reality matters. It really matters.”

AND this bloke is playing the role of a woman who would’ve found it very hard to find a job in journalism at that time. So fucking insulting that a man (in our current times) was given this role.

Expand full comment

I googled Hari Nef (the person playing L Roy Dunham. The Wikipedia page says "actress". Funny that. I thought actors and actresses are referred to as "actors" now. How come this special privilege for a trans identifying man?

Expand full comment

Well of course. They are the most special kind of women. We women are mere dust in their wake. That they have resurrected the word 'actress' specifically to make the very point reveals an awful lot. Only men who think they are women are now termed 'actress'. It's a signifier. Not about the acting, it's all about the stated gender of the actor.

First we were told not to say actress, now we are told to say men are actresses. Or the special leapy shark term, non-binary. Gender is a construct you muppets!!!

Expand full comment

Funny how they change the rules for the new" Sacred Class " aka men impersonating women.👎🤮

Expand full comment

Absolutely, agree with everything you’re all saying. I reckon it’s partly about affirming this bloke — after all you can’t be trans without the participation of others. If he gets to play such a role he must be a *real* woman, surely… He must think he really passes to be given such a role. So, screw actual women! We MUST affirm the precious men-pretending-to-be-female at all costs, even when we’re making a direct point about the historical injustices against women. *sigh*

Expand full comment

They'll just keep rewriting history until they " prove" that every famous historical person was actually " trans " !! Straight out of Orwell's 1984 !! Insane !!😭🤮💔

Transified! Good one .. the perfect word.

Yeah, they think we’re bloody idiots don’t they! (Either that or they just want to tick a box and keep their jobs.)

What these biological men who claim they're women are advocating is the worst form of conversion therapy for lesbians in the form of rape. That brutal element has always been present, but now they think they've found a way to justify it.

'Oh darling, you just haven't met the right man' becomes the nice 20thC version meaning 'met the right man saying he's a woman'.

Yes, that always sickened me, but this is far worse.

This idea seems to be so away from the facts and bodily feelings and decisions of individual adult personhood, - yes it's nuts. The whole thing about 'how to get your legover' belongs in a men's magazine. Alison, thanks for sticking to the truth - keep as strong as you're up to - best wishes. Truth will out.

Did the course cover deception in any respect?

Serious question. considering Stonewall wants (wanted?) to change this law.

Expand full comment

I'd suggest yes and that needs further investigation. They don't appear to call it deception but they deliberately blur the definitions and boundaries of everything, including words, to get their way. Consent conshment, rape schmape. That no one attending those 'courses' and no one promoting that person since thought anything amiss is incredibly disturbing. It's from the same quarter as dating 'advice' online and the really creepy crap mainly men are 'advised' to say and do 'to' women. This obsession with 'taking' someone and it being a goal to give or defend the prize.

Telling a lesbian that they must and should have sex with a man who says he's a woman and therefore is a lesbian is clearly crackers and about the needs of that man to do as he pleases. To make a gay man have sex with a woman who 'identifies' as a gay man, is also coercion. It should be sacrosanct to not pressurise, shun and socially ostracise anyone for making their choices to not engage in any activity or sexual activity. Many have been coerced into thinking their decisions have been the only ones they could make, to submit to all this bunkum, to avoid the social death of being accused of 'transphobia'.

Expand full comment

One of the very first things I learned when growing up was that one should want the person they want to have sex with, to ALSO want to have sex with them back! If I've ever detected the slightest reticence in a partner, that immediately kills any interest I might have. That it doesn't work that way with these types of men is beyond my understanding - how could anyone want to have to "convince" someone to have sex with them, to "overcome" them? Makes no sense to me.

That Page person looks as if someone's sucked all the air out of him, deflating him like a balloon. What a cweepy bloke!

This week felt like delaying tactics - using up the time to avoid the worse stuff. Struggling to understand how supposedly educated people at Garden Court allowed themselves to be cuckoo’d by Stonewall reps. Allison thrown under a bus continuously to save their reputations.

Ah well, if Planned Parenthood denies any coercion — there must not have been any.

Point 6 is the one, they read like pickup-artists. Why the heck would a lesbian want to have sex with a man? there’s nothing to overcome, they’re men. It’s bewildering that someone had the audacity to write that down and publish it. They don’t just want to pretend they’re women, they want the rest of the world to pretend as well and seem genuinely afronted that the rest of us don’t buy

Into their fantasy!
