Another day, another harassment campaign. Just got this email.
Dear Graham Linehan –
I am the producer/director/copyright holder of the 20 minute video, Kids Can Say No, produced in Britain in 1985, distributed by Rolf Harris Video Ltd. and widely used by schools, police and socials workers in the following decade. Rolf was the presenter, working with four children in a series of role-plays and putting possible abuse in terms of ‘yes feelings’ and ‘no feelings’.
It has come to my attention that your name as Presenter with Rolf, and possibly your presence, has been inserted into the programme. The video has been taken down from DailyMotion.com and your listing as Presenter has been removed from the video’s IMDb page. However, there are countless other uploads of the video and references to you and your part in it on search engines and from what I can tell, they have been posted in the last few days.
It may be that you are being defamed in this or possibly you have actually posted the video, with or without changes. It makes no difference, it is in breach of copyright and must come down.
Can you please contact me to discuss what needs to be done.
Kind regards,
Jessica Skippon
Sure enough, here I am on the IMDB page.
I don't think I'm going to call the police because how would they be able to find whoever did this? I'm actually quite happy they're Still so annoyed by me that they went to the trouble. I was worried that with my Twitter suspension I'd lose my reach, but someone out there is unhappy with me and that makes me happy.
For people wondering who Rolf Harris is, here's the story. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10915195/Rolf-Harris-guilty-of-child-sex-abuse.html
