My God, what a satisfactory sentence: "Try as they might, the BBC can't hide the fact that the subjects of their new documentary are deeply disturbed ... "

Let them continue to tell the Story of this deeply dangerous ideology -- you know that ideology -- the one that magnetizes disturbed personalities. People have to know it's not all about 'love', 'authenticity', 'kindness', 'social justice', 'stunning' and 'brave' 'explorers' of the new 'gender' horizon, etc. etc. In fact, it's the complete opposite of everything that is Good. It's all about hatred, phoniness, cruelty, anti-social injustice, cowardly re-inforcers of gender stereotype, etc. etc. We are in an existential crisis of mass delusion, mass capitulation, and mass ignorance. These true crime stories may serve to wake up the public.

I hope you’re right about waking people up but I’m not so sure. Too many just don’t want to know. There’s a definite ‘end of days ‘ feel about the west at the moment.

As for the BBC, what a disgrace. Brilliant work as ever by ripe4nutmeg.

So true. Most people appear to be resolute in their denial. When I relate any of the facts reported on this blog I am met with: that’s just not happening in our schools, it’s propaganda, it’s made up, you need to get out more, don’t be ridiculous, you’re being unkind to a persecuted community, you need to stop reading rubbish on the Daily Mail website. I’ve been laughed at, scorned, told that I’m obsessed, that my “obsession” is unhealthy (my obsession!) and told I need to get some help. People either don’t want to know or are afraid to agree. Remember that song. Manic Street Preachers about fascism. “If you tolerate this, then your children will be next”. We are already there on this issue. Our children are being targeted now and these brainwashed and dangerous fools need sectioning and not provided with a propaganda platform by the captured idiots at the BBC.

Expand full comment

I couldn’t agree more. That mirrors my experience exactly. It’s already difficult to broach the subject and it has so many layers, where do you begin? And then to be met with indifference or hostility is so disheartening. But it’s too important to give up on. That’s why I love chatting on these groups. It really helps to talk to like minded people and know that I’m not going round the bend. So thank you everyone on here.

My kids, although they thoroughly agree with me, still call me 'obsessed'. Guess I am. But this is the most dangerous, all-encompassing ideology -- top-down in origin -- so really truly scary. Tremendous power and influence behind the scenes. As I've said before, we need the "Birthing Parent" of all inquiries. Nothing less will do.

My family too. I've learned to stay quiet these days, but when a dear friend told me that a work colleague of her daughter was trans and 'she's so lovely', I kept my mouth as shut as I possibly could. Fast forward a few months, and 'she' was found in the ladies work toilets in a pool of blood, having 'cut herself'. He took time off work after he came out of hospital, and my friend's daughter had to cover for him, no extra wages, of course...He was promoted over her, when she'd been tipped to get the promotion....He comes back to work and lo and behold, he does it again. This time, he's been sectioned. She's yet again doing his work and hers, no extra wages. This will be stretched out for months now, I'd imagine, until he can be sacked, whereupon, I presume, he may well sue his employers. Sigh.... The odd thing was my friend didn't have the courage to say 'You were right, nutty as fruitcakes, I'm sorry I didn't listen'. Double sigh

I know what you mean. But I'm still clinging to the hope that the public, when they finally see what's going on, will rise up. If they watch it, that is. And probably, many will take a pass. But it might reach exactly who it needs to reach.

Expand full comment

We have to hope otherwise we’d give up and then what kind of future would our children have. We must keep fighting and speaking out. And yes, articles like this definitely help.

Expand full comment

Don't worry guys. The worm IS turning. The fight back is becoming louder and more frequent. As a result others are finding their courage and speaking about it openly to each other. It's a snowball effect, with the first snowballs pushed by our wonderful Graham et al. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.

my experience of seeing this play out in school is that people will demand rights for their kids based on biology. No one is prepared to let their little girl share changing rooms with boys regardless of how they label themselves. Everyone’s…. ‘yeah trans, thats cool…’ until the f-ing penny drops. No one wants their little girl to miss out on the team to a boy, or have their privacy destroyed. F that.

Identity politics is making its way through people’s consciousness like a late night kebab covered in red hot chilly sauce makes its way through one’s digestive system. Hard work. and painful, but necessary. What felt like a good idea at the time has consequences. Expel the poison.

Stick a fork in the BBC's arse - it's done. The way it obeys the edicts of Gender Ideology is pitiful to watch. Obviously this situation is a human tragedy waiting to happen - will the BBC do a follow-up when these people's lives unravel even further? Not a chance - that would be to blaspheme against the new Sacred Caste.

Did anyone watch the one with Kirsty Wark and a handful of other women? In one piece, they interviewed a 'transwoman' who was so obviously a man in female clothes, it was a joke. He had the temerity to state that his partner had not known he was 'trans' until recently! Obviously, the partner, if he existed, must have been deaf, blind, with no sense of touch or smell. The women, including Kirsty Wark, a professional journalist, blinked rapidly and smiled inanely and made a huge fuss of this gaslighting person. Women are far too accommodating of the planet's s**t instead of gathering it up and placing on heads. If we go on being accommodating, we will find ourselves in deep doo-doo. These men will not stop. They will never consider our feelings, so we should stop considering theirs. It's time for females the world over to say: enough!

Expand full comment

It's very odd the slight differences in output and how some follow the 'editorial' line. I refuse to watch BBC TV now, because of those like Kirsty Wark and her simpering. Like Sarah Smith. But there are some glimmers on the radio provision and I wonder if that's the World service element? How when you are covering the atrocities happening to women worldwide, those teams are less likely to put up with this simpering alleged inclusivity which is no such thing.

Crikey ! Kids are not toys.I don't think they should have pet dog let alone a baby. How can some poor woman get banged up in prison for getting a late abortion when the world had gone nuts a couple of years ago, but this pair of total creepies get to have a kid without any questions ? If they are "men " they can't suddenly decide to be women to give birth and not be challenged. Nutters.

Expand full comment

I think that there is something not quite kosher about the actual woman. She maybe does deserve a bit of compassion. The other one, the butch lesbian-cum-'transman' - about as convincing as a green sky and blue grass with that utterly female beard that clings only to certain parts of the face and chin - seems a bit deranged. For starters, as soon as you take testosterone, your inner female bits atrophy and, later, usually require to be removed. An entire 'trans' generation of young females is going to have to come to terms with being infertile, neither man nor woman, probably going through life being exploited by the unscrupulous and unable to either enjoy sexual relations. Same with the boys persuaded into removing their penis and testicles. That they will also suffer urethra and bladdder problems for their rest of the natural is a given, too. Their rage will know no bounds, and we, as a society, will pay the price. As for the putative baby, God help it!

Expand full comment

They're still female as their DNA is entirely female.

Expand full comment

Yes, of course, but they will appear to your average person in the street as neither one nor the other, I'm afraid, even if they detransition later. What I find most disconcerting about the whole thing is that all these young females will have done this stunning and brave thing for absolutely nothing because they, along with 'transchildren' are merely shields for 'transwomen'.

They are incidental to the story, and the men are the star of the show. I wish that women would stop being so self-sacrificial. I do understand it probably has something to do with biology and with competition, but the stupidity and lack of forethought they display towards their own wellbeing, for the sake of appearing allies of men who care absolutely nothing about them, does lend one to believe that females do themselves no favours.

I was reading something about the two chimpanzee sub species, chimps and bonobos, our closest DNA relatives. Apparently, the only real difference between them except in size (with the males in both being larger than the females, albeit bonobos are smaller overall) is that they are organized differently.

In chimp society, the females are always subordinate to the higher ranking males who often treat them atrociously, and have been known to kill them, but, interestingly, it is almost always females who approach strange objects first, while the males scream in anxiety, and, again, it is almost always females who initiate new ways of feeding and surviving by discovering new foods to eat and how to secure them, using tools, and who pass these skills on to the next generation.

In bonobo society, the females are dominant, and can be aggressive, but far less so than chimps, and extensive studies of both sub species have shown that, while female initiative is crucial to chimp survival, it is largely unrewarded and unrecognized by the high ranking male chimps, while bonobo society, just as successful, rests on powerful female solidarity, largely missing from chimp society.

Fewer members are killed or attacked, and harmony is the usual state of affairs in bonobo society. There is a lesson there for human females, and one that the 'trans' lobby/activists have exploited. They have banked on females being antagonistic to other females, and, alarming for them, older, experienced women have formed a sisterhood which is standing up to the 'transwomen', and they do not like it - which, in itself, says a great deal about them: they are female exclusionary; they are misogynistic; and they want female erasure. Why? We stand in their way from having it all.

Expand full comment

And this is why the story of the alpha baboons is so enjoyable! They persecuted all the rest of the baboons and it was first-come, first-serve when the troop found some poisoned meat. Guess who ate it?

I don't think women's willingness to go along with patriarchal society is anything other than centuries if not millennia of brainwashing and terror.

Expand full comment

The fightback is underway in the West, but it seems that underground movements in Iran, Afghanistan, many of the Arab countries are also operating, and young females, unlike ours, do not have the leisure or sense of middle class privilege to be able to afford to betray their sisters for the sake of men who care nothing for them and their lives. Let's hope your 'baboons' in human land get their just desserts because our planet can't take much more of their self centred stupidity.

Expand full comment

Yes, I think when misogyny is more open -- though I don't know what's more open than trying to totally erase women, excusing the rape and murder of women, pursuing war against people who pose no threat which profoundly affects women and children -- it is easier to see and fight it.

The wonderful Deborrah Cooper asked why white women are so afraid to stand up to transgenderism. Cooper is African-American which means her ancestors were terrorized by white men, but they survived so had to have a certain amount of strength. I think the terror that European women were subjected to is deep within many women's consciousness and keeps them passive and acquiescent in the face of male brutality.

Expand full comment

Bonobos cropped up in psychology and a few other areas and organisational studies about two decades ago when I was studying. Thanks for the reminder. Most of what we studied seemed to come down to: why we kill (damage or harm) each other and how we work together for the benefit of whom. Seems to apply well now!

It was frustrating for me at the time to learn this is a thing in a few animal groups - these weird or hangover non-adaptive hierarchies where an animal may be skilled, creative, curious, brave, passing things down to the next generation and benefitting the group as a whole, but demands of the group are that they defer to higher ranking males. And they are higher ranking males why...

And some will kill and destroy the group and therefore themselves. Hard not to extend that to what we are doing now to entire countries and the planet. The strains of motivations that have been distilled and magnified. To not cooperate.

We need to know who the hero or moron is, and then who approved their final edit.

I think it's "B".

It seems to have been made for BBC Scotland under the auspices of a company called Studio Something who seem to primarily be an advertising and marketing company and aren't boasting about it on their website (though they are on Twitter).

It was produced, filmed and directed by Hannah Currie, with Tim Currie listed as an editor.

The Commissioning Editor at BBC Scotland was Steve Allen, Commissioning Executive - Popular Factual, Formats, and Digital.
