I thought so too. A trans community police officer had an autistic teenager prosecuted for a hate crime for asking "Is that a man or a woman?" last year. But it's okay to bully a gay man & steal his property over a t-shirt, apparently.

But the Far Right must be stymied - either worried they've stolen their thunder or chuckling to themselves that the supposedly ultra liberals are acting in exactly the same way they do and doing their job for them - shutting down dissent, being intolerant, violent, threatening and harassing gay men in the street and here at Pride. I've watched AntiFa becoming more violent in the US from afar, naively thinking 'it's not like that here'. I'm fed up with the two main political parties in England frozen, pretending they can ignore this, and smaller parties seemingly captured by it.

The “far right” in action is more fictional than this extreme left which is very active. “Far right” is used too often as a reason for Antifa and extremists (on the so called left) to exist, but usually “far right” just = people exercising their rights to opinion and political preference that the intolerant left can not abide. Antifa is the secret police, going after any group that opposes this new world agenda, and “far right” is everyone else.
So how does it benefit the old style Democrats or Liberals and Labour to go along with this? This surely will be about who is quickest to pivot politically and respond (like Trump did in front of everyone thinking he couldn't)? Most of the establishment seem to be pretending that 'be nice' and squashing 'a few' nasty women opposing this will be enough? Are they just hoping too many will be ambivalent, or lazy enough not to care, act or vote.
Meanwhile rates of domestic abuse still soar, women are still being murdered and rape convictions are at all time lows and that's just acceptably peachy.
Well, doing my very best to be objective, understanding & feminist about it, I'd say it's a lifetime of social and cultural conditioning which grooms April and women like her into valuing and prioritising males over other women, seeing other women as rivals not allies and she is just trying to survive in a patriarchal society that crushes women underfoot.
But, honestly, my sympathy and patience for women like her have all but disappeared as I get older! Sneery little handmaidens denigrating all the women who've fought so hard to secure the rights, spaces and privileges which they take for granted. Two years ago I was at my first Pride Parade in Sarajevo, Bosnia. It was their first ever Pride and there had been threats against it by local religious fanatics (Muslim and Orthodox) and we feared that if turn out was too low participants might get attacked, as had happened in Belgrade a few years earlier. I went there to support my gay and lesbian friends in town and, well, pretty much anyone else who believes that human rights mean you have the right to love anyone you want. Turns out, a lot of Sarajevans thought so, too, and there was probably around 4.000 participants in a town of 400.000 people, with people coming from Austria, such as me, and many from Serbia, Croatia, and even Germany. Like I said, it was my 1st pride ever. I don't particularly like huge events with a lot of people and in Austria things had never been perfect but they were going the right way, so there was never really any necessity for me to demonstrate my solidarity with gay and lesbian people back home by joining a, well, loud event with a lot people. Now it begins to look like I may have to start considering going to Pride events in the UK to help keep gay and lesbian people safe from assaults. This is insane.
There's that bullshit "killing people" being parroted again. Such a weird thing that despite all the evidence to the contrary, they go with that to get sympathy. And depressingly it seems to work.
I was looking at Eggenland's blog and she had a list of tweets about what people have lost due to trans ideology. One of the very best, which I couldn't copy, was from a woman who said she had lost her belief that heterosexuals EVER accepted homosexuals. I totally agree with her. These people never altered their views which they were taught at home and in society that homosexuals are deviant perverts, they just masked up with their liberal "tolerance." And now the mask is gone and we see their true nasty selves. And to top it all off, now they can scream at terfs as well. April is not only repellent, she has no idea who actually murders trans-identified people.
