In case anyone is wondering, he has photographed himself holding up a copy of Terry Pratchett's 'The Colour of Magic', as if in gleeful and proud agreement with TP's daughter's recent announcement about him 'not being GC' - and about which Graham has written earlier this week.
It seemed almost rude not to retouch Helen Joyce's tremendous book into Tiny Owen's sausage-fingered hands.
do you think he would understand the science stuff if he did actually read it? i mean helen joyce is not just a journalist for the economist but a top statistician, - maybe if a book/zine with as strong an argument, but disguised as a narrative about 'fighting the system' needs to be written for him to care and understand exactly what is happening to real actual women! (as he is a child of the 'militant tendency' - the shouting and the political cultiness of transactivism is probably attractive).
Where did he say he was going to debate Helen Joyce? I just perused his Twitter (I almost never read Twitter, as I find it a clusterfuck and hard to follow), and all I see him saying is that he WILL NOT debate a cis person about trans rights (even on the subject of how they conflct with women's right), because it's "like two white people discussing the rights of black people" (or something like that).
Did I miss some place where he said he would actually debate Joyce, or any non-trans person, on the subject of trans rights?
The 'no debate' strategy and "love wins" hashtag is why so few people, in relative terms, are being peaked.
