Also regarding Dr Doireann O Leary, there was a Twitter pile on because she "fat shamed". Not sure of the exact detail but the Twitter libfems were all over it a while ago. So this gender stuff is her trying to claw back into the good books of the woke crowd

Yes, too bad if someone dies as a result.

When people use the name “Karen” derogatorily towards women, this is what my mind’s eye thinks of: https://fairplayforwomen.com/campaigns/prisons/

The only people who can use the word “woman” seems to be men who want to express their femininity. Too bad men are mot more accepting of that within their own chromosome allotment.

“The hardest thing about being a [feminine man] is choosing which dress to wear.”

It’s amazing to me how if you open to door even a crack to misogyny, there’s a gang of males ready to run in and destroy everything women have worked for.

No respect.

Jesus wept! ENCOURAGING morons to put their gender identity on blood path. forms now? Things have already become confusing enough for some of these poor souls, apparently: https://www.womenarehuman.com/female-trans-man-feels-triggered-by-blood-donor-screening-policy/

Question for the person who works in the lab. I was told today that sex doesn't matter to the person who works in the lab as it's up to the doctor to interpret the results based on age/ sex. Is this true?

I don’t think JP needs the money, he is already rich, but he’ll sure be rolling in it after such histrionics. People keep saying the young are inspirational and will save us from climate change, and I don’t like the lazy snowflake-bashing, nor do I join in, but I don’t feel that optimistic, either, if that is their reaction to A BOOK, whose publication will contribute to them having jobs and roofs over their heads. Between them and that law graduate who advised people to throw turkeys at their relatives, I think you’ll forgive me for my scepticism.

Imagine expecting a book to not be published because it might upset your non binary friend! Maybe your non binary friend could just not read it? Absolute crybabies

As for Dr Doireann O Leary she's more concerned with being Insta famous than being an actual medical professional

It's almost as if these people aren't aware of the source of their salaries, isn't it?

People just don't fact check anymore, they just pass off what we see on social media as fact. Just today I was told about JK Rowlings "problematic" book about a cross dresser making trans people out to be violent whereas they themselves experience more violence. This was by a person who hadn't even read the book. If they did they'd know there was the briefest of mentions to cross dressing and nothing to do with anyone trans identified

Yes. Just seen AL Kennedy (a writer) say on Twitter, in response to Lachlan that transwomen get murdered because women might prefer a female nurse perform their smear test. I mean - how does an intelligent person get to a place when British women submitting to a potentially life-saving, but uncomfortable and intimate procedure & wanting a woman, not a TW, are responsible for violent men killing TW, who often sell sex, mainly in the US & Brazil?

Are they really core values based on tangible reality if they're not prepared to walk, though? The fact they just whine and cry in a meeting rather than act gives it away IMO.

Besides, they're not much younger than I am, if at all.

And speaking of words ... which is the better terminology for clarity? “Trans identifying male” or “trans woman”? If someone says “a trans woman is not a woman,” it’s the equivalent of stating that a trans apple isn’t an apple and the word salad wins the redefining of apple by default?

Wondering about the word “transgender” too? Shouldn’t it be “trans identity” or “trans gender identity?”

Too bad we can’t just stick with sex-based realities, rather than this convoluted swirly word language.

As I learned here we should be using the word trans identified male instead of trans woman as language is vital.

I heard an Irish trans figure say that if transwoman is used instead of trans woman (or maybe it's the other way around) it's "othering" and "they don't see us as real women". Sorry to break it to you but you're not

Thanks. Their sex isn’t exactly a secret lol.

Everyone would benefit with clear distinctions as our bodies, physical and emotional needs vary too. Especially as illustrated by the potential harm the hematologist cited above. None of this makes sense and I don’t see it as being especially healthy for beyond either.

Truth matters.

Wondering in despair what is the most depressing article. It doesn't end , does it. Atleast the non woke episode is a good thing to happen. Cheers to that. Rest of it is same peak trans material. Only the names which throw the Misogyny differ.

WTF! That is unbelievably racist. It's extremely telling

Yeah, I was told that it was to accommodate "Latinx" women (which is just as woefully racist). In addition to simply never being used by anyone to whom it might possibly apply. So pretentious, too.

It would make much more sense to me to have the words "womxn" and "mxn" both refer only to those trying to transcend their natal categories, tbh.

Yeah but their validation is more important than our reality donchaknow

That's the problem with letting frighteningly narcissistic types set the agenda alright.

That’s a pretty lame and racist excuse they have there. Calling it a typo might have been an idea? How did we get to this level of dystopia? I worry for what comes next.
