Just today I was told about JK Rowlings "problematic" book about a cross dresser making trans people out to be violent whereas they themselves experience more violence. This was by a person who hadn't even read the book. If they did they'd know there was the briefest of mentions to cross dressing and nothing to do with anyone trans identified
