Marc burrows, your new 'queer' overlord

Meet Marc Burrows, Twitter Curator/Standards Specialist from Dec 2015-Sep 2022

The Independent recently chose to publish a vicious attack on Graham that was presented as an 'opinion' piece. 

Many of you will have already read the article, and the excellent dismantling of it from JL.

But what type of person would choose to attack a man who is dedicating his life to the protection of women, LGB people, and children?

The answer is someone like Marc Burrows He/Him, another straight tourist who feels free to throw the slur ‘queer’ around while…you’ll never guess…enjoying a straight relationship!

Despite being a man in a straight relationship mocking and appropriating gay culture with the word ‘Queer’, Marc feels confident enough to tell lesbians how to conduct themselves at Pride.

Marc is very, very invested in allowing straight men like him access to women’s spaces. Men walking into women’s spaces “with a full beard and hard on” is a small price to pay so he and his girlfriend can continue to cosplay at being gay.

Again, Marc, a man in a straight relationship, describes himself as ‘LGBT Cis’ and feels it gives him enough authority to abuse the LGB Alliance, a group set up by and for gay men and women.

Marc has that odd compulsion among certain men to call homosexual people ‘weird’ because they’re same-sex attracted. Now, perhaps Marc’s love of blurred boundaries arises because of his self-proclaimed bisexuality, but it’s still something of a shock to see a person in a straight relationship suggesting there’s something ‘obsessive’ about homosexuality.

Predictably, as a man in a straight relationship, Marc has no problem with gay youth being forced into a closet made of their own bodies.

In fact, Marc goes so far as to give financial support to these organisations that sterilise and mutilate nascent gay children.

Marc is the type of person who The Guardian employed as a Senior Community Moderator for almost five years.

And of course Marc worked at Twitter from 2015 to 2022 as a Curator/Standards Specialist - the period when Graham and many other important gender-critical people were banned.

The Twitter Files certainly appear to contradict your claims of ‘unbiased storytelling’ Marc.

But what does he think of the Twitter Files?

The problem is that Marc was one of the people who decided what the “right thing” was. And Marc is an abusive straight, white male who calls women a slur that is used to tag women as acceptable targets for violence.
