Have just done a v quick email to paddington@lush.co.uk.

Please can you supply the health and safety risk assessment tool Lush has used to assess your policy of supplying breast binders on behalf of a 3rd partner organisation?

I do not give permission for my name or contact details to be passed to any individual or organisation outside Lush.

Please also forward this email to the Lush head office.

Kind regards,

I've asked to see their safeguarding assessment, evidence of their consultation with medical, mental health and safeguarding professionals, and consideration of the impact of helping young women and girls hide potentially damaging practices from the adults at home.

Excuse my language, but f***ing what?!!

"Lush issued an apology after it emerged that some of the money from its charity pots had gone to a women’s group, and this upset trans activists."

So supporting a women's group upsets the very people that claim to be women? Supporting those other heinous groups upsets me, how about an apology for that Lush? What's that? I'm a female and so my feelings and views don't count? One less place to patronise (I'm not a fan anyway when I had to explain to an employee there who was force feeding me veganism that all eggs are not murdered baby chicks unless a cockerel is involved).

Where’s the essential kit for Africa-style breast ironing?

Why are they being so West-white-centric about breast destruction?

Racist bigots!

Christ on a bike - where to begin?

A company that doesn't want homophobic customers, promoting an ideology that claims lesbians should be ashamed of not dating men who think they're lesbians...?

A company that apologises to people who want you to believe they're women, for donating to a women's group?

And what the fuck are breast binders doing in a first world country in the year 2021? Let alone being promoted in a high street shop?

Now to email these lowlife bottom-feeders.

Challenor AND Oger as representatives?!?!

🤣🤣🤣

Men like them who hate women, it makes so much sense for them to be pushing for women to mutilate their bodies. What better way to make women less desirable to men, and then have TIMs step in as substitute women.

Just wrote to their customer service to explain why I'll never buy their products again.

I just don't understand why the medical profession and people with influence don't latch on to the medical and physical harm this social influence is causing!! Why aren't they using them them to flood the space with all the medical horrors this crazy fantasy is causing? We so need to protect these children 😳😠

I've always disliked that company. I can't even walk past their stores: the smell of those horrible products is so strong. Now I have reasons to actually hate them.

01202 930051, if anyone wants to ring them. I just did, was told they had an official statement on this and would I hold on whilst she went to get it...She came back and told me that all references to this matter must be dealt with by email only..."I'm sorry, I'm going to end this call now.." https://www.lush.com/uk/en/faq/contact-us

Ewwww ….. disgusting organisation. I haven’t shopped at Lush since seeing their stupid sign about transphobes staying out - although I was tempted to go into one and take a pic of myself inside it, with a caption “GC feminist infiltrating a Lush store”. I’m still tempted, I must admit, but also conflicted about not wanting to darken their toxic doors anymore.

I just emailed Lush. Here’s just the first part: “To Whom It May Concern at Lush,

I overlooked all the men ogling and taking photos of your nude staff, as your company did something positive by losing the plastics. I did take offense to your obvious outright exploitation of and your placing your employees in direct harm (irregardless of whether they were willing or not-so-willing to participate). That was a truly awful publicity stunt which made me less fond of your company.

There is, however, no way I can overlook your direct involvement in the promotion of self harm for girls and women. Have you bothered to look up "breast ironing" in Africa and beyond, and the medical harm "breast binding" often causes girls and women??? Your involvement in this matter far exceeds alarming and disturbing.

Why is Lush supplying breast binders from a partner organization? Who is providing medical counseling to the recipients of your breast binders? Who oversees the distribution of the breast binders to minors and women? WHY is Lush involved in this?….”

Will let you know if/when I receive any response from Lush. 👍

LUSH, USA, supporting 'no packaging', by getting the staff to work...er...naked, except for their aprons...

Now, that's a new tack for perverts....

Seems the tweet has been deleted - did the pushback work?

I wonder if the recent push of this gender ideology by big companies like John Lewis, M&S and Lush is because they have been paid massive amounts of money by the people who realise this is all starting to crumble.
