Have just done a v quick email to paddington@lush.co.uk.

Please can you supply the health and safety risk assessment tool Lush has used to assess your policy of supplying breast binders on behalf of a 3rd partner organisation?

I do not give permission for my name or contact details to be passed to any individual or organisation outside Lush.

Please also forward this email to the Lush head office.

Kind regards,

Hi Shirley

Have stolen the email address so I could ask questions about breaking the law and about impact assessments on change of corporate responsibility.

I have been a customer since they first opened, but no more. My family and friends are also no longer customers and are passing it down the line. Some will also email and ask questions...

I think they will lose a whole load of customers now this is out there.

Keep up the good fight.

Great! Sounds much better than mine but I have decided to write something basic as soon as I have the time rather than try and get something better done which never happens!

Hi Shirley

I used to be a policy officer and when something "gets my goat", my policy head switches on. Can't stop it!! Your response is really good and should make them sit up and take notice. I just have to give companies a kicking when I get the chance, sad git that I am!! Got too much time on my hands just now too.

Thanks Mandy! It’s very helpful to hear you think my quick response was good. I’m heeding Helen Joyce and Posie and spending much less time arguing on Twitter and more on things like this direct to organisations.

I've asked to see their safeguarding assessment, evidence of their consultation with medical, mental health and safeguarding professionals, and consideration of the impact of helping young women and girls hide potentially damaging practices from the adults at home.

Excuse my language, but f***ing what?!!

"Lush issued an apology after it emerged that some of the money from its charity pots had gone to a women’s group, and this upset trans activists."

So supporting a women's group upsets the very people that claim to be women? Supporting those other heinous groups upsets me, how about an apology for that Lush? What's that? I'm a female and so my feelings and views don't count? One less place to patronise (I'm not a fan anyway when I had to explain to an employee there who was force feeding me veganism that all eggs are not murdered baby chicks unless a cockerel is involved).

I thought it was “inherently transphobic” to make any hint that women might be negatively impacted in any way by trans demands.

This sounds like an admission.

They are narcissistic males that failed to be men and accept reality.

Challenor AND Oger as representatives?!?!

🤣🤣🤣

Men like them who hate women, it makes so much sense for them to be pushing for women to mutilate their bodies. What better way to make women less desirable to men, and then have TIMs step in as substitute women.

Excellent post. Made me shudder, as it should make us all shudder. Horrific what is going on.

First time I have ever heard of a cosmetics company hiring the ultra-ugly to represent it. I still laugh every time I hear about The Ogre.

Seriously. If girls arent under 100 pounds theyd never get a gig, females are literally starving to death. Then they hire a pig in a wig. No issue. "Males dont have to be perform femininity, thats a females job". Id say these bitches better start making babies, but i have little doubt theyd just hide them in the basement and mollest for their porn channel for the rest of the circlejerk to enjoy. No one will have to steal that porn, they dream of attention.

Maybe Lush has hooked up with the promoters of that wikihow site about how to pass as a woman. First step, use lots of body hygiene/soap products! What a natural partnership. 🤪

Good idea.👍👍. I've never shopped there anyway. Never heard of it before. Won't shop in M&S or John Lewis again because of their support for this ideology !! Purse power 💪💪

I just don't understand why the medical profession and people with influence don't latch on to the medical and physical harm this social influence is causing!! Why aren't they using them them to flood the space with all the medical horrors this crazy fantasy is causing? We so need to protect these children 😳😠

Maybe they need to be…'brought out' on the coming out day on the 19th??!! Lots of photos and proof of the damage done in transitioning??

Reddit banned "neo vagina disasters" but they have a website now.

Shows how much they're trying to hide the fact that " sex change surgery " is disastrous for the majority ,if not all ,of those delusional people who become victims of these quacks who call themselves doctors !!

I've always disliked that company. I can't even walk past their stores: the smell of those horrible products is so strong. Now I have reasons to actually hate them.

I just did, was told they had an official statement on this and would I hold on whilst she went to get it...She came back and told me that all references to this matter must be dealt with by email only..."I'm sorry, I'm going to end this call now.." https://www.lush.com/uk/en/faq/contact-us

Ewwww ….. disgusting organisation. I haven’t shopped at Lush since seeing their stupid sign about transphobes staying out - although I was tempted to go into one and take a pic of myself inside it, with a caption “GC feminist infiltrating a Lush store”. I’m still tempted, I must admit, but also conflicted about not wanting to darken their toxic doors anymore.

I just emailed Lush. Here’s just the first part: “To Whom It May Concern at Lush,

I overlooked all the men ogling and taking photos of your nude staff, as your company did something positive by losing the plastics. I did take offense to your obvious outright exploitation of and your placing your employees in direct harm (irregardless of whether they were willing or not-so-willing to participate). That was a truly awful publicity stunt which made me less fond of your company.

There is, however, no way I can overlook your direct involvement in the promotion of self harm for girls and women. Have you bothered to look up "breast ironing" in Africa and beyond, and the medical harm "breast binding" often causes girls and women??? Your involvement in this matter far exceeds alarming and disturbing.

Why is Lush supplying breast binders from a partner organization? Who is providing medical counseling to the recipients of your breast binders? Who oversees the distribution of the breast binders to minors and women? WHY is Lush involved in this?….”

Will let you know if/when I receive any response from Lush. 👍

LUSH, USA, supporting 'no packaging', by getting the staff to work...er...naked, except for their aprons...

Now, that's a new tack for perverts....

I wonder if the recent push of this gender ideology by big companies like John Lewis, M&S and Lush is because they have been paid massive amounts of money by the people who realise this is all starting to crumble.

I think all these companies have hired the cheapsst labor they can find and will do whatever the toddlers want if it trends on twitter.

The burning and flooding Earth makes me fear for the future (it is 60 degrees Fahrenheit in central Maine, U.S.A., today; 30 years ago we had snow by now). Meanwhile the children play with pronouns (or Legos if they're in Phipps's kindergarten class).

I think it doesn’t cost them much & they believe it will appeal to the Yoof. It’s cheaper than actually going carbon neutral.

You are right; it requires no thinking or analysis to fool around with pronouns.
