Good for her!

That was glorious. One of the complainants was Crispin Blunt - the same Crispin Blunt who recently had to apologise for complaining about a paedophile's guilty verdict.

Thank you Lisa for so elegantly kicking the arses of these clowns. It's long overdue.

Blunt is a born-again gay man (came out very late, with a wife and children left in his wake) who has a seething disrespect for women at the same time. All he says and does is to further the sexual rights of men. Here he is talking about his use of poppers in Parliament:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxAi4WxZccA

Keep it to yourself Crispin!

Hahahaha! Poorly written there! Blunt doesn't actually use poppers in Parliament (AFAIK)

A while ago, when Lisa Townsend first came to notice for being a rare woman (or man) in a position of authority making a stand against the BS of gender-identity ideology, I emailed her from NZ to thank her. I said in my email that no reply was necessary, but I still got one thanking me in return 🙂

Lovely! I've just sent her an email to congratulate her too.

Why should the Lisa 'explain' herself? She's no a wee schoolgirl. They were obviously expecting some kind of mealy mouthed climbdown. Ha ha...!!!!

I bloody love this woman! Imagine if she was PM instead of Johnson, the Tories need to crack on and make it happen - she'd sweep the board.

Through her strength and courage she has done herself and all women a valuable service. Wonderful.

The irony of being gaslighted into being seen to be offensive by complaints by people who support the gaslighting of women by men who say they are women. My head hurts. She has a damn sight more integrity than Crispin Blunt and the members of that panel.

Yes. I particularly admired this reponse from her:

'He told her he believed all panel members had received “either supporting or unsupporting emails, in fact quite strong emails against your attitude”.

'She responded: “The panel has requested that I explain myself, not that I apologise, not that I retract the tweet or delete it but that I write a letter of explanation. And I have decided that my actions and what I said does not require a further explanation. It’s that simple.”

'Cllr Fury said: “If you are not legally bound to do so then we need to look again at how the complaints panel works.” The panel has no power,” said chairman Cllr Reeve. “The acid test is in the ballot box vote, and that’s the view of the legal people.”'

Yes, I did too. It cut through the BS that her view needed any explanation.

** Back in December the PCC retweeted and commented on a post from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling implying biologically male rapists are not female, enraging the trans community ** ... it ENRAGED the trans community that men pretending to be women raped women and got called men?? ENRAGED??! What, because the legal definition of rape being penetration by a penis isn’t enough to prove to these cry-bullies that it was a male rapist?? Oh yes, muy bad, they were female penises. Silly me.

So thankful for women like Lisa.

Yup, once again the feels of sexual predators adn their supporters matter more than the dignity, safety and identity of women.
