Oh yeah! "Down with this sort of thing"! Hahahaha!

Tess, I love your name, fashioned after Thomas Hardy’s classic Tess of the d’Ubervilles. Very clever and classic, Tess.

Thanks! It was given me by my Terf-Maker, the Terf who Peaked me, so is extra special.

That explanation is worthy of JK herself :-)

They're coming from Gdansk to see the film!

Expand full comment

Yes it's certainly not a winning move in mister woof's case.

Expand full comment

Probably caused by overconfidence, I hear people like Woof tend to Winalot in general.

Thats a bit ruff .

Who let the dogs out ?

He’s definitely a Chappie

I used to hate the smell of that stuff … oh wait 🤔

'Woof' is also the name of an old television show where a boy turned into a dog. Similarly, fiction is the only place a man can change into a woman.

That music! Oh I loved that programme. It's hilarious as we watch him looking at which loo to go in.

I wondered if anyone would be familiar with it - so happy to have contributed a little nostalgia to your day!

To quote Posie Parker, ' I'm not a vet but I know what a dog is.'

It truly is our equivalent of "trans women are women" 😂 I love it so much! 🐕❤️

It was annoying, but a great time meeting and networking with fellow terves! At one point Shereen, a long time socialist who appears in the film and was organising this, started us singing Bella Ciao and a neckbearded goon blocking the door was wailing about how offended he was as a left-winger that we were singing that... I just introduced myself as the women's officer for the local Communist Party branch and he shut up. He didn't seem to know anything about Shereen's background either, or any of the actual leftists there.

A lot of the queue was peaked by the display, including some of the more relaxed protestors who'd come to see what was going on. I had some good conversations with them about the abuse of autistic kids and what exactly "puberty blockers" are and the side effects, and they actually seemed to listen. There's always a handful of creeps and real hardliners at these things, but a lot of well-meaning people who turned up to help what they thought was a good cause and peaked in the process.

Love the laughter at Mr. Woof's unabashedly claiming he's a woman. Need more of that. Laugh at them whenever you can. Their claims are ludicrous.

I agree that bit is brilliant 😂

yep " women fear men will kill them men fear women will laugh at them" paraphrasing GG

This specimen of manhood as well as enjoying bullying women he also is a member of a rifle club, so he likes guns as well. These men are psychopaths.

All great suggestions, Glinner, so thank you for making them! Is the “Ricky Gervais glance to the camera” that sort of smug look the man claiming he’s a “natural born female” makes at the end of the clip? It’s funny when Gervais does it, but this guy’s a troon. 😳☮️❤️🐾

At the first venue that the TRAs had occupied we had a long time to chat with other attendees while an alternative venue was arranged. Shereen Benjamin who organised the event is brilliant but I think so very many of University Lecturer colleagues are completely captured and actually support the actions of these students. We did try to gain access to the first venue but were blocked by the Edinburgh University Security Staff. When the alternative venue was announced the students you see in the clip had already blocked access. I was further back in the queue but I could hear them yelling at one point. I think they were pretending they had been assaulted. They are all well versed in the tactics to adopt. I see it is all over Twitter now. I think it's a definitely an own goal for Mr Woof, his masked chums and his handmaid in the green hat.

Edinburgh University,a place people aspire to study at and with a history of scientific advancement. To be crude,it must have its tongue so far up the bum holes of TRAs that it can no longer be considered a serious academic establishment.

Expand full comment

If you can name a serious academic establishment in the West these days, we'd all love to know about it. Certainly none of the "elite" universities qualify.

I watched online. It was great. Really well done and filmed. I made a donation cos they asked for one as I think some funding got pulled. It's worth watching. These trans "women" taking over venues is ridiculous and should be stopped by security not moved to a different venue.

Indeed -- thugs and psychotics for the most part. Though it's "transwomen" - compound word like "crayfish" which ain't.

"trans woman" -- as an adjective-noun pair -- is basically an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms, a category error in implying the possession of a property (ovaries) which the people denoted (transwomen) won't ever have.

Hence a great deal of justification for the compound word -- in part because it gets transwomen's knickers in a twist:

"However, ['transwoman'] is often associated with views (notably gender-critical feminism) that hold that transgender women are not women, and thus require a separate word from 'woman' to describe them. For this reason many transgender people find 'transwoman' offensive." -- suck it up buttercups:

I dislike using either descriptor.

They are only trans identifying men TiMs or (and this is the only time I would use a term for women in relation to these narcissistic idiots)....they are FiBs...Female impersonating Blokes!

Expand full comment

Usually very badly too.

Expand full comment

FiBs fibbing ... I like it! 😉🙂

Far too many these days are unclear on the difference between substance and appearance, between being X and "identifying-as" X, between reality and illusion. I blame video games ... 😉

Though much of feminism and many feminist "philosophers" -- Judith Butler in particular -- has to take a fair amount of blame for that as well.

Expand full comment

Judith Butler is a feminist like I'm the star ballerina of the American Ballet Theatre.

Expand full comment

🙂 "No true feminist (tm) ..." 😉

But more like a "transfeminist", one of the many "ideologies" under the umbrella of "feminism":

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_movements_and_ideologies#Transfeminism

Bunch of cuckoos in the nest methinks; the more rational "sects" need to have a "Night of the Long Knives" to purge the "movement" of them. ICYMI, Kathleen Stock once called for a "reboot" of feminism to get rid of the "risible absurdities" that Butler and company have "engendered", so to speak:

https://kathleenstock.substack.com/p/feminist-reboot-camp?s=r

Though Stock seems to have abandoned the field, more or less unbloodied, since I haven't seen her taking up those cudgels much recently. Maybe because she's somewhat "compromised" herself.

But Wikipedia certainly thinks Butler walks on water, given how they gush over her:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender#Gender_identity_and_gender_roles

Though much of Wikipedia is as "ideologically captured" by transdogma as Mermaids or Stonewall. ICYMI, my "tale of woe" on the topic for being "deplatformed" there because I objected to their article on transwoman and Olympian Laurel Hubbard which claimed that "she" had "transitioned to female":

I'm proud to say I booked a venue and with the help of my tech savvy son, showed the film, Adult Human Female at a pub in Norwich on the 1st December. It was a relaxed evening with a good turnout. The film is in not controversial in any shape or form. It is ordinary women, predominantly lesbians, explaining their experiences of gender identity ideology and how it has impacted on their lives and livelihoods. To think Universities cannot uphold the right of women to host this film on their campuses is mind-blowing. I think a link to the film should be sent to every University Dean in the country. It is shocking to think that Universities, the so called bastions of free speech are not protecting those who are exercising their rights to speak out.
