Because my audience just got substantially bigger, I’m sharing these two Elaine Miller videos again. You don’t have to watch both, but you should definitely watch the first one. It really is shocking stuff.
Please send either her speech or my interview with her, or both, whatever you think will work, to people like Julia Hartley Brewer, Jeremy Vine etc etc. Write to researchers on the Today Programme, Question Time, Woman’s Hour, anything you can think of. It’s urgent that she gets heard by as wide an audience as possible. If young women on testosterone don’t realise they can get pregnant, I presume they’re also not being told that they’re going to go into menopause thirty years early.
I listened to Elaine Miller on your show; then because I thought she was so fantastic, I searched her name on TransTube and found the other video. It is GREAT! SHE is GREAT! This woman needs to be on every news show in Europe and the US! It is difficult to be hilariously funny when talking about such serious subjects...
I love Elaine Miller and also all the content you produce Graham. If you want to reach a much wider audience, please consider having subtitles/cc-captioning. It would be great for all people who 1) are not good understanding accents, 2) who are not English mother-tongue or 3) have hearing problems.
