So well articulated. Bravo Lauren. I'm not a lesbian but I dealt with much the same things she did because I was not a girl into "girl things". I have been railing against my supposed role as a girl my whole life. I do have a lesbian family member who I know also went through similar things to Lauren too. Everything about the gender ideology disgusts me - the AGP males, the predators using it to gain access to women and children, the conversion and exclusion of lesbian and gay kids and adults (and using the LGB to normalise the TQ), vulnerable women being forced to share spaces with men, the marginalisation of some religious women who cannot share spaces with adult males, the harm being done to kids and young people being transed... ugh. It's just all so vile.

Totally agree. It's outrageous !

Thank you for your brave and articulate speech Lauren. I am a Scottish woman and sickened by the refusal by the SNP Scottish government to accept the harm their Gender Recognition Bill will visit on all women and girls. I have now resigned my membership of SNP because of it.

Thank you for the 'likes' folks. It really is a great support to know I'm not going mad. How can this possibly be happening? I'm a very fit 75 years old and have seen ( and done) a lot of crazy things in my time but this Self I.D. nonsense is utter madness.

Snap !!. I'm 75 as well. Never imagined in my wildest dreams that we would ever find ourselves in a situation like this . CRAZY x

What a brilliant piece, eloquently expressing the frustration and pain so many lesbians, particularly young lesbians are being forced to endure by men and some compliant women. Fucking hell! This is nothing but misogyny and homophobia made into a cause célèbre by the same so called liberals who, less than a decade ago were campaigning for same sex marriage to be made legal. A term that has now become impermissible.

I think my state senator revealed all. When I wrote to him about gender ideology, he told me he was the sort of man who made fun of gay kids at school but then he realized he should accept them and he feels the same way about transgenderism. If that doesn't say it all! Still fears homosexuals and hides his discomfort behind "accepting" trans-identified people.

This makes me so angry and worried for the young people. They need their social networks and places to bond and date without being harassed like this.

Wonderful words, thank you Lauren, but who in power will even hear them let alone listen!! My heart breaks for them and the children, my soul is being damaged by these assaults on our sex, our female existence, the beautiful potentially fruitful future of young women. I feel as if I am grieving already, that I'm in this bubble, shouting, 'Look at the Emperor'. The knives are out and in the hands of monsters, ready to slice away at our children and deny them a future, it has to stop! And as for those 'handmaidens' supporting these MEN..we will remember you and so will the internet!!

It's horrifying. When I was small, my mother and my aunt went to women's festivals. Neither one of them was a lesbian, but even as a kid I understood why they would want to go somewhere for a time where there weren't any men. They lived the whole rest of their lives in a man's world; why couldn't they have a weekend in a woman's world?

It seemed fair to me as a boy, and I never felt offended; my job was to change the mens' world, not invade the womens'.

The TRAs are bound and determined to make sure no woman ever has that chance again. And they will stop at nothing. Younger generations aren't even allowed to understand why it's needed.

I can imagine how hard it is for young lesbians. Even harder than it is for the nerdy boys who get captured by the trans cult.

This is why I tell my kids that maybe it's actually harder to be gay in today's world then it was when I was growing up. At least back then you had the support of other gays and lesbians. Today, the organizations that were founded to support you may actually hate you.

Such powerful and moving speeches. I just watched the live stream and they are inspirational ,as are all similar events from around the world. Just wish governments would listen to them instead of taking instructions from Stonewall and others like them !!

I'm glad I didn't hear that being delivered - I hate crying in public. Lauren never fails to get right to the heart of what is important.

I was crying the worst, i think. She doesn't talk about her feelings much, but she did what's to be done and i love her so much for it. But the whole place was in floods😂❤️😍

I think you telling us that about her makes it even more emotional for me and hits deeper. Please thank her from the bottom of my heart for her bravery! I will always stand by her words and fight for my, and all true females (including my beautiful daughter), right... as a woman..an adult human female...with a real cervix🥰
