Journalism With Menaces: The Pink News Writer Who Slides Into DMs

Michelle Snow is a trans identified male who runs the What The Trans podcast and its corresponding Twitter account.

Snow’s also a freelance journalist.

On Tuesday some Twitter users made public the threatening DMs that Snow had sent, trying to blackmail and bully them into complying with his demands.

He tried his strongarm tactics on the co-founder of LGB Alliance Ireland.

It must be pointed out that when Snow talks about ‘child abuse’ he means parents refusing to fill their children with untested off-label hormones.

It’s probably fair to say he’s not open to discussing gender critical views.

In pursuit of the ‘ROGD parent story’, Snow also sent aggressive DMs to Fionne Orlander, a transwoman critical of gender ideology.

Update:

Basically, Snow is threatening an exposé of parents who want to protect their children from untested drugs and major surgery. (And can he really be unaware of the recent High Court decision in the Keira Bell case which indicates these decisions are the right ones?)

He’s also threatening to ‘expose’ blogs and social media posts by a trans adult because they may have been ‘shown’ to dysphoric children. Why a trans person isn’t allowed to write about their own experiences or how any blogger or social media user can control to whom their words are ‘shown’, he does not explain.

You may have noticed that, in his messages to Fionne, Snow implies he is working for Time magazine. Jesse Singal tweeted to say that Time have denied this.

2/ (Some of the language is very bad-cop-show.) In one of the DMs she said "I'm talking to time magazine." "Talking to" could mean a lot of different things but I was curious so I asked Time and they denied anyone w/that handle is working on anything for them. People are strange.

Hard to believe, given this breath-taking unprofessionalism, but Snow’s ‘journalism’ has actually been published (most frequently under his former name, Michelle O’Toole).

A quick search of the web would suggest that he got one article in The New Statesman six years ago, has produced a couple of pieces for Vulture Hound and wrote the below for iNews in 2020, completely misrepresenting Transgender Trend. (He really does seem to be all about transing kids, doesn’t he?)

While his work for other outlets may be scant, Snow has written prolifically for Pink News. His Muck Rack portfolio lists well over 100 articles for them.

His most recent Pink News article, written under his current name, Michelle Snow, was published only a month ago.

A ‘journalist’ who sends menacing DMs in an effort to blackmail and intimidate those who challenge gender identity ideology writes almost exclusively for Pink News? Colour me not remotely surprised.

But aren’t Snow’s behaviour and tactics just so indicative of the gender identity movement as a whole?

Do as I say, bend to my will, parrot my lies… or else.
