As someone who actually has properly diagnosed CPTSD I would like to say that LP does not speak for me. I'm actually more offended by her self diagnosis diminishing what it is like to live with CPTSD. Why on earth would I be offended at what Julie or JK Rowling said? I understand that the world doesn't revolve around me unlike narcissist who make everything about them and their wounded sensibilities even when it isn't.

I was pretty outraged by Penny’s appropriation of cPTSD for pity points & to cry victim over some fair but negative reviews of her book.
I have cPTSD: it’s the result of prolonged childhood trauma. It’s not a frickin’ sales point.
