If people could put this under the nose of anyone who can get it into the mainstream, I'd be grateful. It's very rare that a transwidow tells her story, and as Derrick Jensen said, the thing is to make it safer for the next person. So if we force a conversation about Jennifer's story and the 'spousal veto' and what women like her are going through, then they can't pretend she's just a one-off and mark her for abuse. There are more women like her out there. And it has to be as safe as possible for them to come forward.
Well I've just taken the plunge and become a paid subscriber whilst watching that incredibly brave Woman. What Jennifer has gone through is horrendous. Enough of this Madness!
Such a very powerful & important interview. Thank you, Jennifer, for your courage & honesty. I can't express how much respect & admiration I have for you. Wishing you peace & joy. Love & solidarity, sister ❤ xxx
just got to the PVC mini-skirt and fishnets part. Everyone, EVERYONE who claims to believe all transwomen are really women, needs to be cornered and forced to answer this question: WELL THEN WHY DO SO MANY OF THEM THINK DRESSING AS A WOMAN MEANS BUYING CLOTHES FROM A SEX SHOP?
I'm about halfway through now, and it's building up like a real-life psychological horror story. Only it's not thrills it's tears I'm getting out of it.
Oh hell I've just got to the JK Rowling part and I have to pause again. can't stop pausing to collect meself. Just wow the importance of Rowling's essay to so many vulnerable people who don't have voices, it's just... wow.
There's no happy ending in a story like this, but I won't lie, the tremendous relief and admiration I felt watching the end of that video, Jennifer coming out of it able to talk about her experience with profound insight, intelligence, reason and compassion... she is a survivor and she's deeply admirable. The battle isn't over (her kids, etc.) but still, a somewhat optimistic ending. Much thanks to Jennifer.
Oh Graham, that poor woman, I’m so grateful to Jennifer for talking about her experiences. I just hope that this interview escapes the YouTube chop, and that it doesn’t go the way of Kellie-Jay’s recent interview. Jennifer’s voice deserves to be heard. Please send her my thanks and my respect.
What an amazing woman you are Jennifer. Thanks for sharing your story. I’m so glad you got away from that guy, he’s clearly very disturbed. You deserve (and will have) peace and happiness. We’ve got your back and will be there for you. Take care. xx
What is terrifying is that for this group and none other than I can think of, we force women to be silence or say that describing abuse is bigotry. If you replace her spouse with a lesbian woman but keep the attitude towards women's bodies the same, everyone would be supporting Jennifer and no one on the left would be trying to silence her.
In the last 20 years I've heard stories directly from women who left their transed husbands. I've also read others. The first story I heard was the beginning of my approaching trans issues with great caution. Not really peaking me, as I read more and gained information, but rather, a steady climb. The "trans-widow" stories all played out remarkably similar. I cannot believe that this abuse is at all unusual when autogynaphilia is introduced in marriages and families.
Jennifer, I'm so glad you're free of him. I feel sure your testimony will help others.
If they take it off YouTube I'll post it as a podcast

By the way, I have to stop using the 'like' button. I like all your tweets! You paid to be here!

I'm here! Better late than never. How's it going everyone?
The video with Jennifer was equal parts anger-inducing and heartbreaking. Glad she's doing better.
This is an important tweet to remember whenever you hear the words 'spousal veto' https://twitter.com/Woman4W/status/1300150698118647808
Drat! Twitter account suspended and the tweet as not been archived. Soddin' Twitter censorship!
This is a useful interview with Ray Blanchard https://quillette.com/2019/11/06/what-is-autogynephilia-an-interview-with-dr-ray-blanchard/

That interview made me cry, Jennifer is so brave for telling her story. Thank you Graham for posting this and all your work on this issue.
