I’m going to the demonstration next week at Holyrood with my husband. It really says something that I’m more concerned about the police than I am about the inevitable noisy counter demonstration. Although wouldn’t it be a great look for them - arresting an older, terminally ill woman. 😏
This Steven Jackson is a blackmailing thug. Going on twitter with the express intention of causing serious damage and loss to another person, inviting his fellow thugs to join in the destruction of another human being's means of income. He should be reported to the police (I know, I know but we still need to respond the right way.). I hope Shonagh Dillon sues him straight away. She should also sue twitter for allowing this person to do this to her.
Great work (as always) Graham but I think it's important to point out that it's not 'Scotland's shame' - the shame squarely belongs with the Scottish Government and 'justice' sytem. There are myriad Scottish people who are mystified by, angry about or completely oblivious to these pathetic shenanigans (I think it's only approx 20% of the population who are even on Twitter). I know you are aware of this and it might seem pedantic but in exercising free speech (which I would die to defend), I think it's important to be precise with language and especially important to distinguish between the behaviour, attitudes and actions of those in power and those of the citizens of a country. I can guarantee none of this nonsense would be tolerated for a second if any of us were living in legitimate democracies where we could vote regularly on issues rather than being 'represented' by captured, self-absorbed S/MPs.
Additionally, it was exactly the simplistic narratives propogated by the post modern neo-marxists that explains how we find ourselves here at all: the idea of collective (historical) shame and also the BAD people (white, Western, hetero etc) and GOOD people (their 'victims').
Sex is binary (think we are all agreed on that here!) but ordinary people and their actions are not. And citizens are not to be judged by the actions (or otherwise) of their governments.
I'm not on Twitter, obvs (or any other SM platform - won't give corrupt businesses my data or support) so I can't do the whole hashtaggy thing but if you're reading this Marrion - you are a true Shero.

I don't do any social media anyway ( think it's way too damaging ) but if I did " tweet " i would've been " cancelled " long ago or even arrested ,like Marion and others just for standing up for women's rights ,which is what our MSPs should be doing it they had as much as a grain of common sense or even any sense of fair play

Our First Minister calls herself a Feminist ??? I'll be at the demonstration at the Scottish Parliament on Thursday and I hope the media have enough backbone to televise it on the news !!
