First bit of news on this one for a while (doh! just noticed now it’s from 2018, but rest of post still stands!) This violent, demanding, misogynistic, entitled and very, very male form of activism began at Mitchfest. It was ground zero for the many of the tactics we’ve all come to know so well in the woke war on women.
"Dana Rivers aka David Chester Warfield was a California teacher who “transitioned” on the job and was let go due to allegations of locking his students into a classroom and forcing them to listen to him explain his personal life."
If that happened nowadays the handmaidens would probably say he's "stunning and brave"
Pornography helped him know he was a lesbian?! Per-lease! I don’t know which emotion is winning, I’m scared, angry and upset simultaneously. Horrific. And yes, the media blackout is very telling.
I've recommended it before, but I really think watching Transparent is very illuminating wrt to Michfest (there is a whole episode clearly inspired by it) and other issues, it is worth your time.

A truly frightening read
The media blackout on this case is both craven and inexcusable, IMO. What was the justification for it, does anyone happen to know?
