Katherine Deves is under ferocious attack in Australia. This is an appeal to get UK feminists to take up her cause. Please check out her Facebook Page, and if there is any hate on Twitter, go in and fight her corner. TRAs and captured media orgs have been offence mining her Twitter account, so she had to delete it. Also, please add your comments on any news articles in Australia.

The Australian Press is a shocker. I remember what they were like when Julia Gillard was Prime Minister - eye-wateringly and openly hostile. Although I appreciate Tony Abbott sticking up for Kath Deves, he was viscous towards Julia Gillard when he was the opposition leader while she was Prime Minister, more than just the normal opposition stuff. It’s pretty revealing to see how paper-thin standards are when behaving in the worst way you can is acceptable. Do I need to mention that women cop it worse than men when they are reviled?
THIS is our opportunity in Australia to have all the issues go mainstream, please help.

I popped into FB and liked everything likeable. At the minute it’s not possible to comment where a comment would be useful. But I have seen worse pile-ones in my time, and there is a fair amount of support. I will keep an eye open.

Australia changed its federal law regarding sex discrimination in 2013; individual states have been introducing self I’d, anti conversion, and anti vilification. This is in line with the Australian Human Rights Commission road map. Victoria is leading the pack, I’m sure. 🤔☹️
