I think there is something very wrong at the heart of Irish society. They have tolerated intimidation from various bodies over their history which would have been confronted elsewhere. They are a physically strong people, educated and worldly wise nowadays yet they have put up with priests, nuns, the forcefully pious, political bullies and now a cult which endangers their young people. Enablers in the law and the media encourage rather than push against this. In my youth and ignorance I saw Ireland as bold and daring taking on the might of the British Empire but that was a lot to do with what I was reading rather than what was actually happening in the lives of ordinary people. Now I see the misogyny behind much of it, the cowardice in facing up to the mob, the greed where money is to be made from this insidious trans industry.

My mum’s from Waterford.She & my Yorkshire dad moved back to nearby Dunmore East in semi-retirement.Their neighbours were two farming families,friendly and practical people.I’m enjoying the thought of their faces if you told them about all this - farming people,dealing with the very basic reality of life and reproduction.
There may be some in Waterford who believe in this shite and try to silence the likes of Stella O'Malley but I doubt it will be many and certainly not amongst those whose livelihood depends upon the reality of biological sex 🤦♀️
