Remember his appearance on Woman's Hour a few years ago? He said shaving their legs was a 'grooming standard' to which women should adhere & implied women are dirty if they don't. He was also incredibly rude & patronising to Jenni Murray & accused her of being hostile to trans people. I don't know why he insists so vociferously that he's a woman when he clearly doesn't like or respect women them very much!

That was a moment that helped to peak me!

I've encountered many women who think body hair is unhygienic. Goodness knows why they haven't shaved their head and plucked off all their brows and lashes.

"India" is a thoroughly unpleasant narcissistic fetishistic MAN. Displaying the worst of the typically MALE characteristics of bullying, and absolutely zero of the previously acknowledged female characteristics of compassion. Previously acknowledged as in the pre-lunacy days, when one was asked the difference between women and men, starting with "Women are more caring and compassionate......." etc.

Interestingly, I've never seen "India" walking around I've only ever seen him head and shoulders and in full make-up. The way he walks, his figure shape and general demeanor are quite clearly male. This is why people "misgender" him, because all their senses and instincts distinguish him as a man

“Penetrates” is a very male way of thinking about it! Poor Amanda Barrie!

Yes. You don't really need to be Freud to analyse THAT turn of phrase

Spot on

India is losing the plot. Realising that a) people were only pretending to believe he was a woman and b) some people will exercise their right to say so, has done it. He's lost control.

He believes he is 'owed' because of all the surgery he's put himself through. Try being 'kinder' India.

It’s an ideology that really paints its adherents into a corner

Expand full comment

It is. And we mustn't forget to take into account that people who take the steps he has may have pre-existing psychological problems

Expand full comment

I'm at the point where I don't damn care what psychological problems a grown man who is spewing that kind of invective has. He still has a choice. He chooses to be offensive, insulting and toxic. He should be made to own that behaviour.

Where young teens have been pushed into this ideology and irreversibly changed their body, I am a bit more accepting. They were sold a lie at a time in their lives when they would accept it. In majority of cases, there is *something* that will have pushed them into it (mental ill health; emerging homosexuality; stress or trauma etc)

I can differentiate between those "trans" people who accept their fundamental biology and also don't care whether a person addresses them as that truth or not. As long as they are not muscling in on areas which do not belong to them due to their sex and are not denying biology, I am happy for them to live as they want. There are limits though and they must accept that.

Whether a trans person has gone through cosmetic surgery or not is irrelevant. Willoughby may have had bits chopped off. He didn't have the narcissistic part of himself cut out.

Totally agree. This is what we aren't meant to say, so let's keep saying it.

It’s cowardly of other men not to confront this stuff isnt it and they don’t with abuse of women or children either. Very odd.

Following the Keir Starmer 'Cervix' non-conversation, didn't India also tweet that he had a 'cervix'.

Of course, didn't say who gave it to him.

The way she kicked off in that overbearing manner in the video is SO male.

Is Shwmi Chakrabati arguing that only white males should be in male prisons and everyone else should be in female prisons? Who the hell does she think she is...and she thinks she is at risk from racists?

As for IW, there is an Irish term for him, gibs***e. It definitely fits!

Forge to the elevator example she gave. Someone ask her if she’d rather share a CELL with a sex offender man or with a woman who is a racist

Should read Shami...

What the fuck is this constant comparison to racism and genocide theme? Disgusting.

Expand full comment

Deliberately done to make "trans persons" seem terribly marginalised. I'm expecting them to bring out the slavery comparison next.

Expand full comment

Well that's interesting, India calling themselves a cis woman when we just heard the CEO of Stonewall say that no one is claiming there is no discernible difference between cis and trans women. And Kelley also saying she agrees humans cannot change their biological sex.

But India also thinks they have a cervix, so... 🤣

I think Shami is a proper lawyer, isn’t she. A few years ago she was at the WOW Talks speaking up for vulnerable women, and today, pardon my language, she’s shitting on them, from a great height. Anything to win the argument for her team? She’s certainly not the person I thought she was. Perhaps my judgement of character is not very good.

She gave a talk to the law students when my eldest was at Cambridge. My daughter's director of studies took her students to one side afterwards and walked them through all the points SC made one by one to show them how stupid she is.

LOL!

Expand full comment

She has been TWAW for years. At this point, I expect to be disappointed by most people, especially from Labour. Back in 2018 at an event at Bristol University, she said "I don't want to police the borders between these segregated sexes and I'm not going to say to any refugee or migrant to my sex that you don't belong over here. And you know what, if you lock the house too tightly, you might just die in the fire."

Expand full comment

'die in a fire' is a particularly noxious metaphor.

Expand full comment

Yes it is. And, but what? How the stonking hell can you compare a 'refugee or migrant to my sex'? Was she playing bullshit bingo to make her caped and bewigged colleagues smirk? This and exactly this nonsense drove Labour voters away in, well, droves. She's also been spouting this to actual refugees and migrants in the Houses of Parliament. Incautious to say the least.

Expand full comment

Oh Christ. Is she actually calling trans identified men refugees. Christ on a bike pedalling backwards. And where did the house come from? It’s dreadful isn’t it. But I really can hear her saying it. And with an expression on her face that suggests she’s just said something profound.

Expand full comment

I can actually hear her saying it. But I used to listen to the guilty feminist podcast. Shami obviously belongs to the same group of ‘feminists’. They’re old enough and smart enough to know better.

Speaking of Labour, an interesting tweet from yesterday that deserves a little press attention - https://twitter.com/gilbohouse/status/1461048215021793287

Thanks Tea-Rex! Well isn't this fun. What may reasonably be seen to demonstrate hostility or prejudice Sir Keir? Are the Disputes Team really suggesting that merely mentioning women is now a demonstration of that? Well WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN WOMEN to that. Is there anyone reasonable left in Labour? The process is the punishment yet again. #WomenInRail #WomenInEngineering #WomenInScience #NorthernPowerhouse

Seeing as Keir is banging on about rail again today, where are you getting all these new women drivers to drive trains from if you aren't reasonably allowed to advertise and encourage them to join the profession? If we are the unmentionable to be hinted about in hushed tones but not actually spoken about in polite company?

Looks as though the story is already blowing up. Certainly not unique to Labour, LibDems must have a production line for all the forty something bearded men online competing in the condescension Olympics.

Labour are just especially good at hobbling themselves.

That comment that was made about being trapped on the lift, conflating racism with gender critical women fighting to keep rapists out of women's prison cells was just hyperbolic, obfuscating bullshit and she absolutely KNOWS it.

Expand full comment

My immediate question would be. "How does she *know* that the "white supremacist" is one? What is overtly observable to prove that without talking to them? Is it because the person is white? In which case, SHE is making an assumption on the basis of race and is therefore - racist.

India Willoughby is an insufferable arsehole. But having attention and a platform has allowed the narcissism and conceit within to flourish, exposing how much of a boorish, bigoted, misogynistic bully they are, particularly when getting paid for it. No one should have to entertain pricks like this, and eventually, I hope that no one will.
