Graham looks better than Sam - might be just because he’s trusted more. Wish you’d add a bra top to Sam Smith’s photo. My brain is worrying about Jordan Gray type exposure stuff - should really all stay in people’s bedrooms. The lady in Graham’s latest post (my heroine) would probably push him over board. Rightly in my opinion!
I think laughing at them is a good thing. Criticism doesn’t seem to work that well
Although, bizarrely, I was told in no uncertain terms under one of my satirical retouches (of one of those simplified cartoon style women ads saying NOT to leave TW out of feminism.... *sighs*) that - 'We shouldn't use parody. We should meet them head on with serious arguments'.
Humor is absolutely necessary, I can tell you as a trans widow who discovered my then husband's secret life exactly 30 years ago. If only I WAS the only one, as I had thought back then!
How to I lobby for an appearance there? Nice idea. And please, not Stephanie Hayton or Jennifer Boylan's spouse. (Boylan being the husband, and the father of a son who's also "transing."
"Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them; and no man ever had a distinct idea of [gender identity]. It is the mere Abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of [Judith Butler].”
You've probably been following the meltdown over whether the filmmakers of that "adult human female" documentary -- as I think it was called -- should have gone on Tucker Carlson or not. But you may not have seen an oldish retweet of Jane Clare Jones where she gave an "honourary" designation of "woman" to a transwoman -- Fionna I think.
"adult human female" is becoming something of a purity test, one which is something of a poisoned chalice since, by the standard biological definitions, "female" is anything but an "immutable identity" 🙄, is only a label that denotes the possession of a rather transitory reproductive ability.
You don't consider menopause a female phase of life? I am a post-menopausal woman, with a cervix, vagina, uterus and all the accompanying small bits. I had 2 sons by natural childbirth, I nursed them, weaned them and walked the floor with them when they had fevers. All of my memories are female. I am a daughter, a sister and an aunt. I am not concerned about anything except the Clare Joneses of the world naming "one of the good ones" as honorary females. She'll get there. He just needs to be himself and insult her or talk over her or be arrogant in the ladies'.
Menopause is certainly a stage of life that only adult human females (AHFs) can enter into. But once they do so they no longer qualify as AHFs. They WERE AHFs -- as you and I once WERE teenagers.
Only teenagers can enter into post-teenager-hood, but once they do so they are no longer teenagers.
Too many are making membership in the sex categories -- and that is ALL that "male" and "female" ARE -- into immutable identities.
You might try reading and thinking about my "What is a woman?" post as something of a more or less painless introduction to the topic of categories -- arguably the crux of the whole transgender clusterfuck:
There’s a quote that goes something like the thing a man fears worst is being laughed at by a woman but the thing a woman fears most is being hit by a man.
Ultimately, this absurd nonsense can only be conquered by mockery - part of the reason free speech am through comedy is so suppressed. Likes of Ricky Gervais are helping ....I remember watching a neo-nazi March in Munich once and encouraging my group to point and laugh. It was exhilarating, and effective.
Funnily enough, I came to really notice the whole gender menace when one day I thought: 'What's Graham Linehan been up to lately' and looked up the Wiki page to see if I'd missed out on any new sitcom. My reaction? Surely, such a brilliant writer cannot be a bigot and thus, I began to delve into the material and joined the Glinner. Oh, that and to buy the Count Arthur Strong DVD collection.
The first time, he was 'announcing himself' off stage via the PA system - and it was the most convoluted wording I can ever recall, and it was so funny I thought I was choking. And he hadn't even come on stage yet!
If ever there were a perfect illustration of the 'Emperor has Women's Clothes' -- it's the 'celebration' of the 'poetry' of Trace' Peterson.
"Everyone is a little unspecific thing
Everyone is a spork
Everyone is a precise floating ethereal ectoplasm except when it’s time to pick up a paycheck or eat or have sex or clean the bathroom or GET ATTACKED ON THE STREET FOR JUST EXISTING". ( my caps).
Well here we go again with that pathetic pillar of ultimate victimhood -- another 'transwoman''s very existence being attacked. My God. He's had prizes and accolades rain down despite his atrocious writing. Why? Because he's draped in that Trans Cloak of Visibility -- the 'trans' flag. A mantle of acceptance — even ‘celebration’ — given over to mediocrities, thus endowing them with ill-gotten authority and undeserved status. Thank God for Graham making us laugh. His divine comedy is, and has been, a powerful antidote to the never-ending 'gender' poison.
Here's a link if you'd like to see 'Trace' attempting and failing spectacularly his version of "womanface". Oh, and here's some more of his award winning 'poetry', just in case you weren't convinced of his talent.
"Roses are fed up / with our binary fetishes / I tricked my doctors / and stole all the medication to hide it in a cave and share it with other trans people" ...
Hahaha! Don't apologise. These ridiculous men need more ridicule.
Re the vicar, who said God visited him/spoke to him or summat, I just wondered if that was when he was hunched over, gurning into a mirror and yanking himself blind. Hey, maybe that's what's wrong with his eyes!
Love it. And ha Twitter is refusing to let me see the photo insisting it is age restricted adult content . Special level of offensiveness to a few sensitive souls that it still employs. But I can see all the Only Fans nudes I want!
Which evil person put your head on THAT body?
*gasps*
If only there was some way of coping with being comedically teased.
There is no way at all. It is, as you know. actual, literal genocidal murder.
Or perhaps... *even worse*.

GB News is well overdue interviewing trans widows
How to I lobby for an appearance there? Nice idea. And please, not Stephanie Hayton or Jennifer Boylan's spouse. (Boylan being the husband, and the father of a son who's also "transing."
Think you can email them?
Maybe worth asking Graham how to get trans widows on
About 30 years ago I thought I was one of a very few but how wrong that has turned out to be!
I have no words (except these 🤣)
🙂

Apologies to Thomas Jefferson ... 😉

Every day is April the first in Clown World.
(Get that on a t-shirt before I copyright it!)
I love that!
The Rev “Bingo” is the gift that keeps giving, as a writer, how could you not?!
Fortunately you and I see … eye to eye!
If I'm ever in the unfortunate position of being eye to eye with Bongo, I'll be looking for ways to escape. He's another TRA with dead eyes.
I know, it is the opposite to brave and stunning. I’d be looking for the door/fire escape too 😬
Keep laughing Glinner. Rest assured I'll be laughing with you.

It always reminds me of the Scientology edict against "joking and degrading"; can't have a ridiculous belief system exposed to ridicule.
Mockery exists when decent conversation is impossible.
Please keep on taking the piss, these things keep us going when the darkness starts to shade the light.
"... Professional Ignorers..." - Great line!
Spot on, isn't it!

I love Count Arthur Strong. We don't talk him enough, Graham!
Agreed! All three series seem MUCH better on second viewing. I really like them, after being slightly unsure at first.
I'm actually to sold to him being on the radio. It's so pure! Also saw him live a few years ago. He was hilarious!
I've seen him live three times now.
The first time, he was 'announcing himself' off stage via the PA system - and it was the most convoluted wording I can ever recall, and it was so funny I thought I was choking. And he hadn't even come on stage yet!
Wonderful.
Haha! It's effortless isn't it! People who only go to see modern comedians are missing a trick, right!?
Well I think so - but each to their own of course.
All done without bad or even innuendo language too!
nah it's the Glinner tv episodes for me
Fair enough! ☺️
Worst remake of Free Willy ever

We're laughing with you, Graham 😁
The sam smith jokes have really made me laugh. People need to stop being crybabies
One of my most useful skills is ability to laugh at myself.
The gender goons need schooling, and then some.
Hahaha! Don't apologise. These ridiculous men need more ridicule.

Everyone is a little bit [insert nonsense word here]
Gender woo is awful, but at least we can ALL be poets if we so desire! There is NOTHING to stop us if this is the high bar!
I love it! We haven’t laughed at all of this enough. Who put Bingo online and not thought it would be comedy gold?
