Thank you for keeping receipts on all this.

These signed up evangelists for the TRAs are the last sort of people to turn to when in trouble or despair.

Gosh ,is there no end to the previously respected organisations which allow themselves to be indoctrinated into this cult ? It's becoming harder and harder to find companies ,even charities ,that distressed people CAN trust. This woman is so far down the rabbit hole ,that she definitely shouldn't be in charge of anything. Thanks ,Tish ,for the info. The more light shed on this sinister movement ,the better

People like Julie Bentley , mediocre and misguided as they are, move from one organisation to another and destroy them. Longstanding and successful organisations like the Samaritans and Girl Guides which have done outstanding work for decades are ruined in a short time. The woke canker of the Bentley type needs to be removed before they destroy us all. I don't know how we do it, but we must never give in, but keep on pushing against their ideas. They're horrible, destructive people.

Thanks for this terrible news - news to me and I'm sure a lot of others. I'm still pretty sure the vast majority of volunteers just want to help despairing callers deal with harsh reality best they can. What creeps.

Theres so many psychological crossovers between these 2 faiths and susceptibility to cult indoctrination.

It's interesting that Girlguiding CEO, Julie Bentley aims to create an environment where "everyone feels comfortable". That's bullshit, the evidence for that is everywhere in their own literature. What they mean is they don't give a fuck if girls feel uncomfortable. But the organisation isn't prepared to leave it at discomfort, they're prepared to put girls at risk of harm from men like the 'woman' posing with a firearm and a whip. Nice. Who wouldn't trust a girl like that with their girl guide daughters? Only pesky 'cisgender' bigots. They just can't tolerate kindness.

We have a local grassroots mental health support group which has been posting some very concerning things about suicide on Facebook. A photo of a bridge where an individual attempted suicide, a story of young trans identified girl who took her life at just 16 as as the family reported " couldn't get them help" I poured over the government report on cluster suicides and so many of their posts go against recommendations. If the leading mental health charity are making these mistakes what chance does a small locally run by volunteers charity stand of getting it right? Where are the sensible qualified experts?!

The charity Iis It's Worth Talking about if anyone wants to see the horror show that is their FB page.

Thank you so much for highlighting these horrors, Tish. It’s beyond shocking that these previous bastions - the Samaritans and the Girl guides - have been infected by the cesspool that is the TRAs/paedophiles and their handmaidens, which poses such a risk to children AND that others are standing by/complicit...

It appears that we have to do the work ourselves. The biased researchers from back in the 1970s assumed this could not develop into a social contagion, and structured their approach based on many fallacies. 1. They assumed this "feeling" is from birth and did not help the individual work on his past. (I say "his' because they were mostly men back then. 2. They promoted the fallacy that all is solved when the body is altered through plastic surgery and wrong sex hormones, because now "there's a match." 3. There were no long term follow up studies. There was a great deal of drug and alcohol use in the older generation of cross-dressers, and the assumption was they would not live terribly long in any case. This was completely self-serving for the diagnosticians and the patients.

Here's a link to a recent re-post, with my comments, as a trans widow. The sub-Reddit groups for post-op men reveal that they were promised the princess life by therapists/doctors, and it isn't panning out. People gravitate to romantic partners who have all the important parts and appreciate what happens during normal, healthy intimacy. The suicide narrative was the emotional blackmail frosting on the cake, in my experience as a trans widow.

I have come to believe that NO ONE should spend their life working for nonprofits. First, there should be a definite salary cap. Second, there should be no revolving door between charities. What does this woman know of the real world? She lives in an insulated bubble and her bubble needs to be burst.

15-20 years ago I recall our local Samaritans group temporarily “on hold” because of homophobia. Don’t recall whether it was a local issue or a much wider one.
