I saw this live at the LGB Alliance Conference. The entire talk was very useful. It tracked the history of the trans movement and very clearly explained the beginnings of its online reach. A lot of adults were and stil aren't aware of the what happened on 4Chan and how it was a precursor to where young women are today. Ths kind of information needs to be given to schools and teachers. They are totally ignorant of the history and of the devastating effect of endorsing gender identity ideology. They are not qualified deal with the subject and it is imperative we stop schools from affirming the pupils in their care. Teachers are way out of their depth and are unqualifiedly to deal with trans identified children and teens at school. This entire video needs to be mandatory viewing for all teachers in the UK.

Saw it at the conference too and was shocked how long it'd been going on. Very insteresting info

I agree completely, particularly about how schools and teaching staff are very much out of their depth, but it's the kids who are at risk of drowning. You're quite right, this video should be mandatory viewing for UK teachers. They've already been 'educated' from other perspectives, now there needs to be a balance and a basis for joining up some ideas and outcomes. The teachers need an opportunity to stop being afraid to think and speak.

From Jan 2020 after unwittingly coming to the attention of Tabor and Lieber of TheCreateUnknown (podcasters and YouTubers in the States) I became a target for the online incel community. Several teenagers and young men harassed me for months. They were troubled young people who used anonymity online to sexually harass me the fact I was old enough to be their mother did not stop them. I was shocked and frightened by their behaviour. They used the iconography shown in the video in the video. At first I did not understand what it signified. Eg. Pepe. After months of harassment, I had developed an understanding of what was driving them to hate women. It was a baptism of fire. Totally awful to endure and made me realise we were in big trouble as a society if we allowed this to continue without adults getting to grips with the dangers to young people on the internet.

That sounds awful! They are like sharks smelling blood and circling for the kill. No human empathy.

I listened to the two young ladies presenting this, and it was just bewildering: so many "identities", such sincere and juvenile "seeking" an identity! Very, very interesting.

The phenomenon of "micro-individualism". Will it pass? Will family/class/political identity be re-established? This is the first time in human history that commercial interests (Twitter, Tumblr, TikTok, etc) are promoting individual not group "identities". I call it atomization. Not sure how others will view it.

I retired 11 years ago and before then I was telling my colleagues that, in my opinion , the world would come to regret the internet someday. I believe that that time has come ,because everything bad that's happening now is mostly possible because of the internet. It should be a force for good but the abuse and subsequent damage it facilitates obviously outweighs any benefits it brings to society. It's so depressing how many people are so eager to take advantage of others for their own nefarious purposes.I don't think the human race is mature enough to handle such a powerful tool , especially when there are so many bad actors hiding in the shadows.God help the kids 🤮😭💔

Imagine how many more innocent women would have been killed in the Salem Witch Trials if the teenagers had access to tiktok in 1692. This trans phenomenon is social contagion on an international scale, and the witches these misguided wretches want to burn are the gender critical adults in the room.

The LGB Alliance are performing a hugely valuable service for everyone.. This is so educational, and shows Mermaids, Stonewall, etc, up as the parasites they are.. even if they closed down (hopefully 'when') there's still the issue of liberating young people from social media.. at least enough for them to get back to forming their identities by being together, pursuing interests together, hanging out, in person, together.. as per the Helen Joyce & Jordan Peterson recent Sept chat.. identities are socially negotiated.

Ahhh the split orientation model (around 10 mins in)

Picture this, Tumblr teens (at the time) born at the turn of the century, saying that older gay men who'd been closeted because homosexuality was illegal, were NOT gay, but bi, because they'd married. When this was argued against, they claimed closeted gay people were homosexual but bi-romantic or heteroromantic. It came across as homophobic - gay love wasn't a thing apparently, just sex, and that these 'lavender marriages' were not a social necessity but proof that the men were 'heteroromantic', separate from their sexuality.

These same girls claiming gay men had a separate romance from their sexuality simultaneously flooded the internet with gay fanfics.

They can fuck off with that shit.

There are many books and many studies yet to be written and carried out about this recent part of our social history. It’s been almost incomprehensible to those of us who didn’t grow up with the internet, and specifically sites like tumblr or TikTok, yet I will forever be curious about how my miserable angst ridden cross-dressing teenage self would have responded to these contagions - and there does seem to be a multitude!!

Bring on the books, the perspective, only then might we step back.

I get confused, suffering teens. I do not get the adults who go along.

That was an amazing watch.

My daughter went through that journey- bebo, tumblr, pan, while growing up.

Fortunately it never went too far- but it was fascinating to see my own painful journey repeated in a different era.

Not having the official female body is hard. Being relentlessly harassed in the street as a young woman is so hard.

Another thing that struck me is the creativity of these young people.

We hate their intolerance and contempt something we all go through- aren’t adults/normies/traditional society stupid- growing up. But also I admire the sheer creativity and thought that is on display in the gender identity movement.
