I had a younger family member tell me he is pansexual last weekend. These people remind me of a book I once read 'On Tuesday I'm a Buddhist'. On Tuesday I'm A Pansexual or whatever made up bullshit terminology they use. I didn't ask him to explain what it is because I don't care. However I did ask him why he felt the need to broadcast it. He mentioned it was ok if I got his pronouns wrong, my reply was I won't get anything wrong as I will be referring to you how I always have done.

Recently my niece and I had a chat about being trans. Her school mates have been trying to persuade her. She spoke to her godparents about it and they suggested that she speak to her "woke" parents so she could start on hormones (she is 16 and has started her periods). She wasn't sure so Zoomed me.
Together we wrote to her godparents (godfather is gay) to tell them she is not trans; she might be bi (like her aunt and 1 uncle); and she doesn't need hormones as she has plenty of her own.
Heaven forfend what would have happened if I hadn't been about.
I have also written to her school to point out they might want to look at 1. Bullying of girls re transition, and 2. What they teach children in SEX education.
Had a conversation with her father (my brother) who is much less woke than his wife and who was horrified by godparents' advice.
Young people need to hear both sides. They need factual advice and information. Too often they are getting misinformation and advice based on emotions.
I did a video for 'Fuck Your Pronouns Day'. :) It's on our channel. One the front page of a newspaper here yesterday was a trainee old fulla AGP-ing out. On page four, our shameful child poverty statistics and facts got a couple of paras. This pantysniffing perve got half a front page for his trooning out. MSM have the ladydique down their throats and the nuts on their chin.
There seems to be a different narrative and reaction to the attempts to cancel him - more commentators seeing it for what it is.
In my totally biased perception, when it was JK Rowling, a woman, the Twitterati were happy with the narrative of a ‘billionaire punching down’ on poor old oppressed minorities. Now when it appears to be overwhelmingly white people attacking a black man, they don’t know what to do!
I suppose that reaffirms what we already know about how women are regarded in the world.
